Originally went to a different HVAC - after buying and installing a "new" thermostat, I was…read moreinformed I needed a new electric furnace. I am a senior citizen on a very fixed income. The electric furnace I had was 11 years old. I called N. S. B. for a second opinion. I should have called Marvin (N. S. B.) first! After testing gizmos and what-cha-ma-call'ems, he found a widget that did not switch off - or maybe it was stuck on? It cost a TOTAL of $180.00 to have Marvin replace the widget and get a new thermostat (the one that the other company sold me did not work). He came back on Saturday to ensure that the furnace worked without problems - he double checked the other gizmos to make sure nothing else was stuck in the wrong position and that the furnace was truly fixed. It was - and four days later - is still silently providing me with quiet efficiency. Marvin saved me from spending over $3400.00 needlessly with that other HVAC company. Great job, professionally done, reasonably priced. I will keep Marvin's number handy!

I've had a problem with at least one vent sweating profusely during hot, humid weather. I had multiple HVAC companies turn me down to even come look at it. I finally got a HVAC company company to come out to my house, but they didn't listen to my suggestions or concerns, and instead charged me $89 to tell me "the sweating vent you have is probably caused by your filter". Spoiler alert: it wasn't. Whereas, Tamar listened to what I asked, solved the problem, and offered helpful suggestions. They are my new go-to HVAC guys!

The company then quoted me $2200 as the cost to replace it and reiterated that this did not include the $99 that they already charged me. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. Not only did they perform the install, but took care of registering our units for warranty and submitted for rebates on our behalf. Initially Brian came over to asses our A/C needs and then a team of 4 skilled technicians performed the job over the course of two days. The superheroes were Chris, Ricardo, Steven and Wilfredo. They worked until 10:30pm on very hot and humid days to complete the job. As a Realtor for over 20+ years I've come across many contractors and service providers in my career, but I have never encountered such polite, skilled and dedicated team of technicians.They had to be very creative during install and crawl through very tight spaces or work in a very hot, unvented attic and they all have done so with a smile on their faces. I am truly impressed with this company in every way. Please don't hesitate reaching out to them for any heating or cooling needs. My entire cooling and heating system was left in an inoperable state…read more I called for a diagnostic of the air conditioner today because cool air isn't coming from the vents. I was told the diagnostic would cost $149. I asked to be informed of any repairs that had to be done. Technician checked the system and recommended replacing unit. We discussed replacement unit and cost. I was ready to pay deposit. In the next 10 minutes I was told that the model I selected is old and not available. New model costs $1000 more. I asked for a proposal to decide later. Technician told me that the visit costs $396. He said that he fixed air conditioner that was not working. He never told me that he is fixing anything. Through our the visit it looked like he was figuring out the problem. I talked to the owner and we agreed that any repairs that were done will be undone so that I do not have to pay for repairs. Then the technician removed all the wires from the board making both heat and fan unusable. He did not just undo the "repairs", but made entire system unusable including fan and heat which were working before his visit. See the photos to show what was done!

My husband & I have better things to do than having an "agenda" as Harmonic accused. My husband was on a business trip. 3. I never called for an emergency repair. I did not switch from repair to cleaning & maintenance. I asked A. if C & M was possible afterward, unaware of 2 more with no heat. Harmonic called me "selfish" for this. 4. Any possibility A. and K. have unconscious biases towards people like me? They accused us of "manipulating" what? To save a few hundred bucks, while we spent in the tens of thousands at Harmonic's better former (aquired) company) you imagined up? 5. How could Harmonic accuse me of lying about my pain. Because I was able to and had to carry my 10 lb dog for a short moment because of her barkin?
