I rarely went, but was in pain and couldn't put it off any longer. I used to cry. Krista held my hand and walked me through every step. I was so kind. She helped me heal from a 30 year dental trauma. I now walked in for my regular scheduked cleanings with ease. That must be why they're called Dental Ease.

I have been a patient of Dental Ease for several years and can provide a fair assessment…read more Initially, I appreciated Dental Ease taking my dental HMO insurance and they are open on Saturdays, so I signed up. 1 star off: During my first visit with Dr. Jabr, she told me that she does not do cleanings on the first visit. This is really weird, because every other dental office I have been to does. She told me that I must re-schedule an appointment for the cleaning part, and the first availability would be couple months away. I pleaded with her because I work full-time and it is already inconvenient to miss a half day of work to go to a 45-minute initial dental appointment. She agreed to it that time, but made sure that I appreciated the "exception" she did for me. I guess I should be thankful for that? 1 star off: For my next visit, knowing that their appointments schedule couple months out, I booked an appointment way in advance. During my next visit, a new dentist came on board named Dr. Shieh. He was kind of incompetent when it comes to dental cleaning. He sprayed water all over my face and even left instruments in my mouth while seeing another patient. 1 star off: For my next visit, again, I scheduled my appointment way in advance. I was reassured that Dr. Shieh is no longer with the group and Dr. Ng has came on board -- great! A day or two before the appointment, I called for a completely different reason, but mentioned that I have an upcoming appointment. It turned out that they had canceled my appointment without telling me! Carolina, the receptionist, told me the next appointment is in couple months. At that time, I was very pregnant and wanted to get my dental cleaning done before the baby came, hence I planned the appointment way in advance. Besides, it was their mishap to cancel my appointment anyway. They ended up squeezing me in, but after much arm wrestling. 1 star off: Couple months ago, I called again for a routine cleaning appointment. Carolina told me that they don't have anything until next year, and it was on a random weekday that is very inconvenient for me. She suggested I take the appointment anyway, because it would be a full year out from my last cleaning if she gives me an appointment during a day that is actually convenient for me. Okay... I inquired about Saturday appointments, but Carolina said they do not have cleaning appointments on Saturdays; the office designates only a few spots during the week for cleanings. This has been such a frustrating experience. My dental needs are pretty basic, just 2 cleanings per year, and Dental Ease cannot provide this. Since I cannot get a cleaining appointment until a year after my last one, I am looking to find a different group. 1 star extra: Krista, the office manager, is wonderful and holds the office together. She explains things clearly, especially when it comes to insurance issues, and is very helpful to minimize a patient's out-of-pocket expense. Without her, I probably would have switched much earlier. Krista, you should be a dentist! :)

Her skill, precision, and genuine care completely changed my perspective. She has an incredibly gentle touch. I didn't feel any pain during the numbing injection, which is usually the part I dread most. Even more impressive, the timing of the anesthesia is perfect--it takes effect exactly when needed and wears off just as the procedure ends. I was lucky to have my dental implants done by her, and the entire process was smooth, comfortable, and surprisingly stress-free. What truly sets Dr. Tsai apart is her commitment to patient education. Whether I'm there for a routine cleaning or something more involved, she always takes the time to explain my dental condition in detail. She never pushes unnecessary procedures and instead lays out all available options, offering her honest opinion while respecting my decisions. Her transparency and professionalism are refreshing, and her entire team is just as impressive--friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. If you're looking for a dentist who is highly skilled, trustworthy, and genuinely cares, I cannot recommend Dr. Tsai enough.

However, if you need a professional oral surgeon who knows exactly what he is doing and does it perfectly and seemingly effortlessly, does not leave you bruised or in pain, then Dr. William Bohannan is your man. I had a bridge break off out of my mouth. It broke one anchor tooth normally, but the other - at the gumline basically and I asked him to remove both teeth. The first one wasn't so difficult, it came right out. The second one had nothing to grip onto, so he had to go in there with a drill and break the tooth up and then pull out the pieces. He explained doing this at the consultation visit hence, I was extremely nervous about going in. But it was finished so quickly I was floored... amazed... grateful. I hope I am never in need of oral surgery again, but if it happens, Dr. William Bohannan will be my first choice, and I will recommend him highly to anyone needing an oral surgeon. The staff members are all genuinely nice. They send you home with very thorough instructions, and a dozen or so gauze pads to keep over the tooth removal area. I have limited dental insurance, and their price was unbelievably reasonable.

Dr. Yu proceed to clean the area paying particular attention to the unhealthy areas when all of a sudden, everything stopped suddenly. Dr. Yu grabbed a piece of gauze, pulled something out of my mouth, looked at it for 30 seconds and said a tooth fragment left from my wisdom tooth extraction was irritating my gums and causing them to be unhealthy. For context, the wisdom teeth came out 15-20 years ago and numerous dentists over the years were not able to figure this out. I've even been told that I may just have bad gums and tooth loss in the future are possibilities. Pretty wild Dr. Yu was able to figure this in 2 brief visits when nobody else was able to solve this for the last 15-20 years.

During each of my visits Dr. Yu and his staff would push for an X-ray. I have disclosed that I am physician myself and I do not like to take or have taken X-rays without clinical indication. On my last visit (03/2024) Dr. Yu and his team tried again to force me to agree to an X-ray. I was told if I don't have an X-ray taken I cannot come to this dentist office again. He will basically kick me out. I repeated that I am physician and have zero indication for an X-ray. To prove his point, he took what felt like the metal handle of one of the instruments and hammered on each and every tooth of mine. This was very uncomfortable, but zero pain. He was firm that he won't accept me as patient if I don't have an X-ray taken. I have attached a summary of the guidelines from the American Dental Association (ADA) and the guidelines are very clear: 1) there is no fixed recommended frequency 2) as low as reasonably achievable 3) based on findings from patient history and clinical examination So, NO! based on ADA guidelines I do not need an X-ray. Instead of following ADA guidelines, Dr. Yu follows his financial guidelines and wants me exposed to unnecessary X-rays just to cash in. I can't recommend this dentist at all!
