This is a longer review, but it's absolutely worth reading if you have the time…read more I'd like to start by sharing that I previously worked as a dental assistant. While I'm no longer in the field, I do have firsthand knowledge of dental practices and procedures--and I genuinely loved the work I did. Dr. Kim is truly exceptional. Having worked with many dentists, I can confidently say I have never seen the level of care, knowledge, patience, and compassion that Dr. Kim consistently provides to his patients. I found Dr. Kim while searching for a dentist for my elderly stepfather, who needed extensive dental work after decades of neglect. In his 70s, he hadn't seen a dentist in over 40 years and required full extractions in preparation for dentures. To complicate matters, he had recently suffered a heart attack, is on medications that make dental procedures more complex, and is not in the best overall health. From the very beginning, Dr. Kim took the time to truly understand my stepfather's situation--not just dentally, but medically as well. He approached his care with a thoughtful, conservative, and team-oriented mindset, which is not something you find with every dentist. Trust me when I say that. Although this has been a long and ongoing process, Dr. Kim continues to go above and beyond in ways that are far from typical. He personally follows up after hours, prioritizes continuity of care, and takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures to both patients and caregivers. He is always accessible for questions via calls, emails, or other communication, and he makes every patient feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kim. His level of dedication, communication, and willingness to take on complex cases is rare and deserves recognition. Had I known about him earlier, I may have stayed in the dental field because providers like him make such a meaningful difference. His office staff is equally wonderful--friendly, professional, and supportive--and the office itself is always clean, bright, and up to date. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kim to anyone looking for a dentist who is not only knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate and committed to patient care. I am incredibly grateful for everything he has done for my stepfather, especially for making him feel respected, understood, and comfortable throughout this journey. Thank you, Dr. Kim and team, for being one of the best dental practices I've ever experienced. Please understand I wished I could truly get across how amazing Dr Kim is and I hope him and his team sees this review and accepts the amount of gratitude I hold to them

I only got to see Dr. Konrad a handful of times before he retired but I can say that he was a…read morecompletely unremarkable dentist in the best possible way. I never had any remarks to make about him because he did everything anyone ever expects a dentist to do. He listened to your problem, took a look around, proposed a solution or two and told you how much each one was going to cost. If something he did didn't work out, he'd have you back to correct the problem. All very normal and fine and not something you run around talking about for any reason. Shortly after his farewell I had an old crown pop off while flossing. Not the end of the world but not something you want to leave for too long either so I set up an appointment with the new guy because I didn't feel like hunting around town for a new patient appointment. The crown was damaged but I didn't have $3K to blow on a new one so the new guy said he could re-cement the old one in and see how much longer it would last for $350, I said fine and we did just that. He seemed very ill-at-ease and awkward throughout the visit--like he really wanted to be anywhere else--but it was all over and done with soon enough. As with most crown placements, what feels okay in the chair after you've had your jaw wedged open for 20 minutes doesn't always feel okay once you go home and start actually chewing on it so some minor adjustments were necessary. I've never had any dentist in any town charge me for follow up adjustments immediately after they'd just glued the thing in, but new guy wanted another $150 for his five minutes after the grinding had been done. I wasn't in the mood to argue about it so I just paid and left but it's really been bugging me ever since. Especially considering the stoic, unconcerned attitude I had to push through just to get him to do his damn job. I get that he didn't make the crown so he might not feel any pressing need to guarantee someone else's work but it still just felt punitive and gross and he very clearly didn't want anything to do with me so I have little choice but to reciprocate the sentiment. Trust fund kids and other little emperors may very well have an altogether different experience than I did.

However, I had such a great first experience with Dr. Vasanth and Paola that I have to give credit where credit is due. My first visit was just for a routine cleaning, and the scheduling + new patient forms were all quite easy to do on their website. I also received a few reminder texts in the days leading up to the appointment. From the get-go, it was evident Dr. V and Paola had taken the time to properly review my insurance plan, as they made recommendations for x-rays and upcoming visits based on my plan benefits and timing. Paola also pointed out fluoride was not covered by my insurance before asking me whether I wanted it or not for my cleaning - this attention to detail and transparency is above and beyond what I've experienced at other dentists. As for the cleaning itself, Dr. V handled it thoroughly and with a gentle touch, while consistently checking throughout to make sure I was comfortable. She has a very bubbly, friendly personality and is super easy to talk to as well. Overall, just a very pleasant experience and I'm so glad I found this place to be my team for all things dental.

My dentist apologized and referred me to someone else, but now I am afraid to even go to anyone. They are just money grubbers. And pushing their flosses and mouthwashes. Who is paying them for that? We waited months just to become a patient here. I had to call weekly for over two months just to get my daughter a new patient visit. Despite having a strong relationship with the dental team, some Manager recently removed my daughter from the patient list entirely for two missed appointments. The most shocking part? We received absolutely no warning or notification before being dropped. We missed the one appointment because my daughter was really sick and I did forget to cancel. When they called I was super apologetic and explained the situation. They didn't inform me that if we missed the next appointment we would be dropped. The second appointment we missed only because they switched the appointment times, sent me the wrong reminder, and we ended up being late. I called when I realized we were going to be late. We rushed over but they couldn't take us. I understand that we were late. fair enough they us but to drop us just doesn't seem fair. To be penalized so harshly without any prior communication is unprofessional and heartless. It is deeply disappointing that the administrative staff values policy over patient relationships and common courtesy. I cannot recommend this office to anyone who values clear communication and fair treatment.

I went in for a consultation for an extraction of a broken premolar--what remained was a severely decayed root tip. Given my experience, I knew this was a tough case, and I was nervous. Yet, Dr. Fagin performed a surgical extraction of the root tip, bone graft, and membrane placement. In just five minutes, with what felt like a flick of the wrist, my tooth was out--ZERO pain and I was all set and ready to go. The result was a beautifully clean, tight, and well-managed surgical site. From start to finish, the team was well-prepared, efficient, and professional. Mar at the front desk immediately eased my nerves with a kind compliment, and Angeleigh, the assistant, was on top of everything--before I knew it, she was set up and ready to go. I still work in Samaritan House as a volunteer dentist. I made my first appointment when I was picking up my grandkids. I came in on time but forgot to fill out my registration online. Oopsie. "No problem, just finish it after the appointment. " The hygienist, Lauren was very friendly and did a superb job in evaluating and cleaning my teeth. She took a 3D, invisalign scan. The cleaning was super thorough and she asked for a lot of feed back on any discomfort. I really appreciate this as I am 66 years old and my gums are receeded in multiple areas causing cold water sensitivity. She said everything looked good but wants to see me in 4 months. Lys, the dental assistant took a full mouth X-ray while showing me her beautiful tattoos / sleeve. Who knew sleeves on the legs were called socks?!
