The final incident made us cancel: They performed routine maintenance on a system that was working fine when they arrived. After the maintenance, the HVAC unit wouldn't turn on. We were told it was "about to fail" and the maintenance did not cause the failure. (Debatable.) Conveniently, they had the part on hand but would only install it if we paid out of pocket - even though the part was under warranty.
