From the first meeting, measuring and estimate which was done without pressure to purchase to today's installation things were done without pressure total professionalism. When we contacted them, Dave was quick to respond and set up the appointment for an estimate. The day of the scheduled estimate he kept us updated to his arrival and came as scheduled. He explained the process and the various products we could choose from. He had samples for us an explained what options might work best considering our weather conditions etc. He presented us an estimate with no pressure for what we chose. The choice was simple and we signed the contract. He made us aware of the timeline etc which was not as issue. As per Dave's meeting and contract we were contacted about a week before installation and asked if a given day would fit our schedule. The day before the scheduled installation we were texted a reminder. The morning of the installation we were called about 30 minutes before the scheduled time of arrival. They arrived right on time. Wade and his guys (Edgar and Sean) went right to work. They were professional and extremely courteous as well as personable. They wore "booties" and had no problem with our friendly dogs. When they were finished the only thing we had remaining was BEAUTIFUL PLANTATION SHUTTERS!!! I would recommend The Shutter Guys without hesitation and will be doing so to all of our neighbors and community. Thanks to Dave, Wade, Edgar and Sean for a seamless experience.

But the failures of this vendor begin and end with a lack of communication and service. This has been the single worst experience with a Yelp merchant ever. Don't waste your time. The guy doesn't return calls, doesn't follow up. His word is crap. He installed motors in our shades (that took forever) and when one of the motors burned out after less than a year, came and picked the motor up with a promise to get it replaced by the manufacturer. That was December and the last we heard from him despite numerous follow ups from our end. No excuses. Just a lousy way of doing business.

Worst install my interior designer has ever seen!!…read more Horrible experience huge waste of Money they don't even measure correctly and that is the whole point of custom drapes what they actually installed couldn't look further from custom Drapes they look horrible !!! They make you pay before you even get to see if they measured them correctly once there installed!!!! Even if they messed up the whole project you already paid so that's it! Huge Sale Fraud All the other company's have there actual installers come out to make sure everything is correct but this company only the designer is the one who measured everything and it's all measured wrong!! They tuned out nothing like the plan the designer sold me and I agreed on! They don't open or close so they don't function they look so bad all my guest think I DIY them off Amazon!!!! I honestly could have done a better job my self with amazon The designer Kelsey was a great sales man they sell you on an unrealistic plan that they have no idea how to even execute! Huge Sale Fraud The drapes don't open or close, the placements are completely different then the plan I signed off on and agreed to pay $10,600 for! They look nothing like the renderings they are so uneven every panel is measured differently all the clips show the hardware looks so cheap but they charge 2,000 for one pole AND THE DRAPES DONT WORK!!!

I am extremely happy with how everything turned out and plan to complete the remaining windows when my budget allows. They will make suggestions but will work with your tastes, needs, and budget. Then they have their installer Whill, who is a very nice guy and good at what he does, come out to your house to take measurements. You then pay 50% of the cost and theyorder the custom blinds and. I left messages for the owner/manager via voicemail, text, and with human co-workers. He/they did not respond. This is over months of time. Now, that I submitted a bad review they, all-the-sudden, responded via YELP (not by actually contacting me) saying ...they really care about customers and are wanting to know how they can help and would I please contact them. Probably a form letter response. Ask yourself, why does it take a bad YELP review to get them to respond? And even at that, it is only through YELP because they are trying to fool the public that they care. Bottom line is: we are done with these guys and their lame, late, insincere response is just for show. Don't be fooled. *** avoid Harmony Blinds and Shutters.
