Matt was awesome and helped me out with a quick tow from the 101 freeway. Quoted me at 2 hours and only took 45 minutes! Great, fast and friendly service!!! read more

I was very pleased with the repairs and service. However, the repair are filthy and filled with loose screws, bolts, fasteners and old oil. Sure wish that they would clean them up. Would not be happy with a flat caused by a stray bolt. Have a weekly clean up! read more

Took our older vehicle in for a repair. After we brought it back home we still were having an issue. They quickly and courteously took care of the issue. Love these guys, we have been using them for years and are always happy. read more

Very polite and personable! The process was quick and was immediately notified of issues within the car! Happy customer!

I was always accustomed to taking my car to the dealer for service. In an effort to save time and money I thought I'd give Sun Devil Auto a chance. And boy, am I glad I did! Andrew is a true professional in every sense of the word. Their work is always done on time, within budget, and done right the first time. I can't see any reason to ever go back to the dealer again. read more

This is the second time I've elected to try Sun Devil Auto on San Victor, and will definitely return. Although my 2013 Fusion is only 25 months old, the battery was almost dead on the morning of New Years Eve. Fortunately, there was enough power remaining to barely start the car, so I called Sun Devil from my car to ask for a new battery. Jose and crew didn't have my battery in stock, so they had a new battery delivered while I drove to their location, and installed the battery. Sixty minutes from phone call to new battery. AND the battery is a 5 year, no pro-rated guarantee AC Delco - solid product and installed at a fair price. I sincerely appreciated the quick-turn with a quality battery! read more

Sun Devil Auto is a great shop! I will not take my car anywhere else. They are very reasonable with prices and show you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. One thing I really like is they are not pushy. They tell you exactly what needs to be done and what you need to keep an eye on for future visits. They also told me that they did window tinting, which I didn't know. read more

I had a great experience. I just walked in for a standard oil change with no appointment and they were done in 30 minutes. Great customer service from Matt and I will definitely be coming for any auto needs. read more

It's like a family member opened up a car repair shop. You will get a fair and quick repair knowing your in good hands. Matt-The Service manager is the best customer service in the business! Matt will treat you like a family member and explains everything you need to be repaired and why. Then he will tell you what YOU DON'T need repaired, that the dealer said you do need. Honest and fair price, GREAT service. And I own a BMW and David the technician knows his stuff without paying dealer repair prices. Thanks guys- Matt and David, you have a customer for life! Well even though the staff was decently nice when my fiancé and I brought in his car to check why the AC was not working and have ONLY the ac checked we were told that the cabin air filter plus numerous other maintenance items needed to be done. They said as soon as the cabin air filter was taken out the ac worked beautifully! So great you found nothing wrong with the ac just do the filter and other things! Well less than 24 hours later low and behold the ac started to malfunction... Again! We take it back to check it again and get told they never checked the rest of the ac system and now we have to buy a $300 blower motor and that is before labor! We had spent every penny we had already on the other work because we trusted that the tech did his job. Boy were we wrong. Now here we are an uber driver who now can't work because it's 115 degrees out and his ac only works sometimes. How do we pay our bills? No help, no caring, no claimed responsibility on their part and we are left with nothing. Thanks for destroying us! read more

I have had a couple of my cars into the guys at Sun Devil Auto a few times now. I have been impressed each time. They are knowledgeable on every repair that I have taken to them. The prices are reasonable. They call with an estimate before starting any repairs. Often times they can take my car in right away or book an appointment within 24 hours. They are always busy which tells me they have good traffic through their business because they do good work. I highly recommend this business for anyone in need of auto repairs. read more

This Sun Devil Auto is great! Their customer service is wonderful, and honest. Every experience I've had, the guys have gone above and beyond for me. Definitely recommended! I went to the Sun Devil in South Scottsdale (off Hayden and McDowell) and they were very rude and not helpful. Glad I found this Sun Devil instead! read more

I've had a lot of work done here on my 2003 Honda civic. They have taken good care of me for years and always give me the best deals.

Just had them do a used car check for a car I was interested in. They got us right in and told us everything we needed to know. Fast service and was less than $60. read more

Tony was. Rey helpful and professional. I would recommend them for a oil change. Great service

This place is great! Matt, Jose, & crew are the best in the area. No surprise that their parking lot is always full. I found this place because my BMW had a bad battery in the Fry's parking lot and there shop is right there. I walked over and spoke with Matt about my situation and right away he grabbed a jumper box walked with me to my car and got that thing fired up. He then invited me back over so they could do a charging system check and see if it was just the battery or something else. It ended up being just a battery. They had one on the shelf so i had them put it in. While i waited Matt talked with me about the company being a family owned company and that they have about 20 stores in the valley (impressive). He also let me know that their head technician, David is a European specialist that can work on Mercedes, BMW, Audi, just to name a few. This will definitely be the one and only place i will trust to work on my car in the future. read more

Honest auto repair shop. They don't work on commission and it shows. My husband and I won't go anywhere else.

Satisfied with their service and honest feedback/recommendations. Awesome customer service!

I was very please with the service I received from this location. Big thank you to Matt and the team for being amazing and very nice! I would recommend this location to anyone who has car needs. read more

I have been taking my 3 cars to this location for years. They have always done a good job at decent prices. Today I brought one of my cars in because I was hearing some grinding noises when I brake. Turns out it was a caliper bolt that came loose. The re-threaded and re-installed the bolt and the brakes now work silently again. I assumed it would be a $50 tab for the work, instead I was given a bill of $0. I call that service! They have always been very friendly and have always been very informative about any issues with your vehicles. read more

I am extremely pleased with Sun Devil Auto and manager, Matt. I needed an oil change on a Friday noon and he was able to get me in and out within a very reasonable amount of time.Matt was follow-up intensive and had the target time of completion to be exact. I also liked that since it was my first visit, he told me about both his and the company's backgrounds. I believe Matt and his team at Sun Devil Auto to offer integrity, quality workmanship, and honesty. I will definitely return for future maintenance/service checks. read more

Definitely recommend Sun Devil Auto in Scottsdale. My wife's car had a small oil leak which turned out to be a major issues (over $600). Danny called me to explain, but prior to doing so, proactively called Hyundai to investigate if the issue was covered under warranty. Being the warranty covered the oil leak, Danny suggested we use the Hyundai warranty and avoid having to come out of pocket. From my experience, this is unheard of at any mechanic I've visited. Give these guys a shot. read more

Fixed my brake light bulb in less than 10 minutes and didn't charge me a penny. Great customer service that will make me a repeat customer!

This auto repair facility is truly great. I first visited for an oil change a couple months ago. Today, I noticed a greenish liquid on my garage floor and went to Sun Devil to see what it was. I was anticipating the worst! Luck was smiling on me when Matt told me it was just a radiator cap! They replaced it, refilled the reservoir and tended to a tire issue I had. The total cost. $0.00! What a blessing. With a 2007 car, I will no doubt be back as issues crop up and will definitely return. They created a lot of good will today - and with friendliness and professionalism. read more

I had my radiator replaced about a month ago, to still have my car overheat! Decided to try this place. Based on all the good reviews. And i was truly impressed, Matt Smith was just amazing. As a woman who does not speak car, he made it easy didnt try to scare me into unnecessary repairs. Im so glad to have found this place, I will definataly be coming back here. read more

I can't continue to recommend this Sun Devil location enough! The service level, pricing, and overall care for their customers is OUTSTANDING! Jose, Tony, and David do a fantastic job of meeting (and exceeding) their clients' expectations. I have now trusted them with both my GM and European automobiles, and they do not disappoint on their level of commitment towards "doing it right the first time". From the very reasonable pricing, to the little fixes they do without charge, continue to bring me back to this shop. As many have said over the years, this shop does NOT look for things to fix and charge you more. They advise what they see as critical and "can wait"; you, the consumer make the decision without any sales pitch. That is a rare breed in the auto repair business, particularly if you take your vehicle to the dealer. I'll say it again, trust these guys. They will not let you down. My kudos to the team at SunDevil McCormick Ranch....you've earned my lifetime business and referrals! read more

I recently moved here from Virginia only to begin to have problems with my car. I wasn't able to pass the emmissions here as the check engine light was on. I had been to numerous garages and went through many mechanics...I decided to pull into Sun Devil one day and was VERY glad I did. The manager was as pleasant as could be and ALL the people that I spoke to were wonderful. I am pleased to report that I finally passed the emmissions and can get my tags now. Thanks a bunch and see you in the future whenever I need ANYTHING done to my vehicle. They are truly honest and as I say a great bunch working there! read more

I highly recommend this Sun Devil Auto location and Steve, the manager, went above and beyond when my car was having power steering issues. He researched the problem and told me that the issue should be covered by the car maker under a recall. When I had problems getting the dealership to fix the part and they quoted an insanely high price, Steve helped me work through it with them. From now on, I will be taking both of our cars to this Sun Devil Auto when they need work. Thanks Steve! read more

I could not have asked for better service than what I received at Sun Devil Auto last week! I needed my passenger side mirror replaced after some dingbat knocked it off without leaving so much as a note. Matt was so kind, understanding, and eager to help. The whole staff was professional and friendly, and immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them. They even gave me a ride back to work when I dropped my car off! The service was quick and easy, Matt explained my options and their pricing was more than fair. I trusted them so much that I even had them work on a dent that I've neglected to get fixed for about five years. I won't go anywhere else after this, thank you guys so much! read more

I just went to get my oil changed. They had a $19.95 special going. First of all there was a younger guy sitting behind the desk and he didn't look to pleased that he was asked to work on my car. I was leaving for LA and needed to get the oil changed before I left. It took 45 minutes and now I know why. By the time I got on the Beeline I started hearing strange noises, and felt something in the steering wheel. I arrived at my destination safely. My buddy in LA works on cars in his garage. We discovered that the oil seal?(I don't know much about cars), Was leaking, not the actual filter, but what it screws into. I was also told that my lower ball joint was bad, and you could tell it had been recently messed with. Apparently Sun Devil did a complete inspection (They told me they did and gave me a list of what they thought should be done). My tire's where low on air, (if they checked, they didn't correct, and one was so worn on the inside, from this place messing with the ball joint, that I had to get them rotated and balanced). My air filter needed to be changed, (They did not suggest that). And by the time I got to LA my dipstick showed hardly any oil. Like I say, I just wanted my oil changed, you know like when you go other places, they check your oil, radiator, wash fluid, tire pressure etc. So my weekend get-a-way in LA ended up costing me $750.00 in auto repairs, all because I tried taking advantage of an oil change special. There are a lot of auto places in Fountain Hills, I suggest to everybody that you DO NOT GO TO SUN DEVIL!!!! I have a favorite, trusting place to go for auto repairs, (They also change oil but you have to make appointments), but wont mention it here because it may lessen the integrity of this Yelp. read more

I had some work done on my '02 Altima at this location once before and was satisfied with both price and service. Recently the car has been pulling to the left so I brought it in to have the alignment checked. I recently had 4 new Michelin tires installed and I don't want them to get worn because the alignment is off. I picked the car up later in the day and was told that they checked the alignment, rotated the tires and checked the tire pressure, all at no charge. Well, I drove the car home last night and felt that the steering was extremely touchy and just did not feel right. It also was not riding as smoothly as it had right after new struts were installed at the first visit to this SunDevil. I checked the tire pressure this morning just to satisfy my curiosity and found that the front tires were pumped up to 42 pounds!!! and the rears had 38 pounds.....33 - 34 is recommended for these 17" tires. Oh well....back to my search for a reliable service center. read more
