I just moved to Wenatchee and this is the first restaurant I got to try and wow it didn't disappoint! The sushi rolls are so good, and a pretty nice size I must mention. My favorite is the Madison roll 9/10! We also ordered the Crepe Cake and it was pretty good, although I kind of expected it to be softer maybe 7/10. The service wasn't the best, which is a shame because our server was so nice but not as attentive as we would have liked. Overall I recommend!

Did not eat my family ate tho did not even need to taste the food to know this place is awesome . Amazing interior and a custom water cup. Service seemed nice. This restaurant does the extra which is an excellent thing. This place does not deserve this low of reviews. 5 STARS .

You would never guess that in a small little town where there is very low Asian population that there would be Japanese restaurant that is good This review is as simple as it can come- very affordable prices, generous proportion and the food is good The restaurant is pretty big and has parking. But what place in Wenatchee doesn't have parking lol... My friend in Seattle tells me when he visits Wenatchee he will order food to go to take back because it's so cheap but yummy, so so so true!

I came here to get sushi and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed in the quality. We got a variety in sushi, as one of them was deep fried. What I noticed with it was that the sushi rice was soggy due to it being deep fried. I've had a lot of different deep fried sushi's from other places and I've never had that issue. Not only that, but the sushi rice i beleive was over done because all the sushi had soggy rice but the deep fried one was worse. We also got fried green tea icecream and it was delicious so that was great. And the service was good as well, our server was very kind and attentive. I just wish the sushi quality was better.

The server, the waiter, the manager, the chef. WOW. I mean what more can you say they all go out of there way to make you feel at home and comfortable. Except the chairs at the hibachi. After 1 1/2 the get to wear on you. But holy cow what an experience. We go once maybe twice a year. 5 of us comes to 180. Food drinks plus some side dishes and of course wife has a drink or two.

Corina and I shared the mama Mary biscuit sandwich, Randy had the avo stack and we all shared the rosemary potatoes. Sharing the biscuit sandwich and having some potatoes was the perfect portion size. The gravy is the best I've had in ages, maybe ever. So much flavor and an excellent consistency. We will definitely come back when we're in town again.

Sadly, many of them have moved on. But some still remain, and encountering them again is exhilarating. I always look forward to the hugs and squealing laughter.--"...where did you go and what have you done...? We've missed you!" McGlinn's Alehouse is the place we spent most of our time for the first five years of our marriage. It was originally the Orondo Tavern, built in 1922 as a solid brick two-story commercial building in the small town rural American style--big, open storefront windows on the ground floor, and small offices and apartments on the second, with tiny windows surrounded in iron bar planters. Such buildings have long narrow internal staircases up the right side entrance--one you'd never access unless to lived in one of those vaults upstairs. I finally returned to McGlinn's tonight. I had been meaning to, long before this, but there was never any parking in front --many restaurants now have covered sidewalk-cabanas out front--a code violation waved during the COVID pandemic. Inside, the left wall is still that half-block-long cabinet of all the liquor bottles you can imagine, multiplied in depth by the mirrors behind them. Down the middle of the room is one long continuous table that seats 14 people on a side--yes, strangers sit together. At the very back wall there is still, the largest brick open-hearth wood-burning oven you'd ever bake a leg of lamb and two pizzas in, at the same time. And down the right side-wall were six wooden tables-of-four, all sealed in a hard resin clear coat, as shiny and clean as they were vintage and rustic. I sat in the first chair at the first table, my back to the stairway down to bathrooms in the basement below the sidewalk. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Tim's chips, a departure from the "John Paul Bacon Burger with pickled onions (McGlinn's is famous for). Ask to sit in Sadie's section--she's been there 20 years. McGlinn's has been there 34 years! What's not to like about an old friend! -------== ##### ==-------

All the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The tomato bisque was exceptional! Terry, the cook, came out and said hello, asking me how I liked the meal. I let him know that I'm a trained chef, and his meal was fabulous! The waitress said he's worked there for 15 years, that his specialty is prime rib, served every Saturday. I will definitely be back for that. This bar has been here 85 years, and I moved here 30 years ago but had never been here till this evening. I'm guessing the food here is better than most of the restaurants in Wenatchee. The decor is plain and simple. The ambience is what you would expect in a local bar with a long history and a loyal local clientele. Nonetheless, the service was excellent and the staff was friendly. Even being charged a 4% credit card processing fee, food pricing is better than other restaurants. So are the quality and portion sizes. New tables and chairs with cushioned seating fill two dining rooms. And there is plenty of offstreet parking. All things considered, it's worth the 20 minute drive from Wenatchee down to Rock Island, just to enjoy the food and the drinks. I don't think anyone gets turned away here. What's not to like? This was a five star experience for me.

Moldy raspberries and mushy blueberries....do better with quality control. Sausage gravy can either make or break a breakfast meal. They use a nasty powder gravy mix that they added a little sausage to....this was horrendous. Anyone who would disagree has no taste buds. Bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits. In addition to a casserole with all these same things was overkill. adding some crepes and/or quiches to the menu would be nice. Lastly, tell your customers that you charge a credit card transaction fee. I hope you have signs posted but we didn't notice any.

The focaccia bread set the tone right away, light and fluffy on the inside with a perfectly crisp, well-seasoned crust. Honestly hard to stop eating it. The wine selection was thoughtfully curated and had great options to pair with everything on the menu. The pappardelle was cooked to perfection, rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. The lasagne had a slight crust on the outer noodles, but still came together as a really satisfying and flavorful dish. We finished with the tiramisu, which was a standout. Light, airy, and full of flavor. It practically melted in my mouth. Service was just as impressive. Our waiter checked in at all the right moments, attentive without ever being intrusive. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Definitely worth the stop.

Since we had to make the almost 6 hour trek home the next day, we went for an early dinner and were the first party in. Service was kind and quick! Everyone was super friendly. Only thing is with it being just freshly opened for the day, it felt a bit like we were intruding on the staffs prep time - no one made us feel that way there was just a lot of work and chatter going on. I assume with the name Mozart usually there's some form of music (I would assume classical) that maybe just hadn't been turned on yet. But no bother. Food was fantastic. The fondue is not to be missed - the sausage and broccolini were clear standouts with this dish. I got the hunters schnitzel which was great but my husband got the Käsespätzle which is one of the absolute best things I have eaten out in a really long time. Unfortunately, the restaurant was already running about 45 minutes behind and no one communicated this to the long line of guests standing on a steep staircase waiting to be seated. Given that the evening was reservation-only, it was surprising how unprepared they seemed for the exact number of people they knew were coming. The space itself is quaint and charming, and the food was reasonably tasty once it arrived. But the service left a lot to be desired. The hostess was uncommunicative and initially tried to seat us at a shared table in the middle of heavy foot traffic. When we asked about an empty private table that had been sitting open the entire time we were waiting, we were told it was for "VIP" guests. Our server seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive. She had to ask for and repeat our orders multiple times, still brought the wrong dish to one person, and served three meals while the fourth person in our party waited another 10-15 minutes for theirs. When we asked about the delay, it felt like we were inconveniencing them. Overall, it was disappointing. The restaurant has a lot of charm and potential, but the lack of communication, organization, and basic hospitality made for a frustrating experience--especially on a night that was clearly planned around reservations.
