I ordered two pork egg rolls and two chicken pad Thai egg rolls for $10. All were delicious. The egg rolls themselves are pretty small. Would definitely stop by again to try some of the other egg roll flavors! read more

Tried them at the Treasure Island Block Party. Service was good, they were friendly. Appreciate that they give a beeper to let you know when the order is ready. Amongst the things ordered I got the chicken fried rice combo for $15 and some lemonade. I get that it's a food truck so cost I can understand but it's not my favorite. The lemonade needed some help. I liked that the fried rice had Chinese broccoli but the rice was a little on the undercooked side and needed some seasoning. read more

Been to Sumo Egg Rolls a couple times and it's just OK. Like food trucks and miss them but for the price, have finally decided it's not worth it in my view. You get a decent portion of just average food and I think the appeal of Sumo is the variety of different egg rolls but let's be honest, deep fried anything kind of tastes the same unless you get something like mac n cheese, etc. The noodle dish was ok and it's a lot like pad thai and it was better than most. The price was listed at $10 when I ordered but with tax, tip, etc. I somehow ended up paying closer to $15 ... don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy to pay a premium for good food but have no problem calling someone out when I think the food is average or slightly below. Next time I'll pass and would rather pay this for Northbound or Anchor. read more

I ordered from a lunch program called Foodsby. Looking at the menu, seemed good, they offer many flavors of egg rolls but the online menu was not detailed enough for me to try better flavors of egg rolls. Like it gives general names of the egg rolls but does not tell you whats in them. I don't eat beef, pork or seafood. So I can only assume things, like the pho probably has beef?, the jalapeño popper probably has bacon? and so on.. but who knows because the menu doesn't tell you. Would be super helpful to be more detailed. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken and Mac n Cheese. You get 10 an order so 5 of each flavor. The Mac n Cheese were good. Kind of on the basic end but came with a really good dipping sauce that help give it flavor. The buffalo chicken came with buffalo sauce. The sauce had a really weird taste to it, I couldn't quite finish one because the taste was too off for me. 10 order runs for $12. Could be a whole meal if you like both flavors. I also ordered fried rice with chicken. It was okay. I'm just happy they don't put pea's in it. It's a pretty big serving of rice (you can probably share it with 2-3 people especially if you order egg rolls as well), they only give you one soy sauce packet, so I take my shareable opinion back. I know its just extra sodium but jeez how much does sauce packets cost? Why so stingy? Food came on time and was served hot. Not sure I'd order again since I ordered the 2 flavors I was certain I knew what was inside. Wasn't really impressed. read more

Good stuff! I've eaten here twice and both experiences were pleasant. I wish the egg rolls were bigger but I guess these are more of a "tasting" egg roll. There are about 10 unique flavors and if you wanted to try all 10, you could make a meal out of it. I ordered 2 chicken pad Thai egg rolls, the noodle box (my favorite menu item), and I've had the regular egg rolls and veggie fried rice before. The mix of veggies they use in the noodles and rice is very good and the egg rolls are hot and fresh, and I like the idea of unique egg rolls like buffalo chicken and chicken pad Thai. I swung by their food truck while at the Northloop Food Truck Fair because I've never tried their egg rolls. Admittedly I kept it safe by getting pork, but they have like 17 kinds of unique egg roll flavors. They were good, but I felt like they were pretty small. Really great food truck. We tried several different egg rolls and liked the Jalapeno Poppers, Chili Cheese, Pepperoni Pizza and Cheeseburger ones the best. The accompanying sauce was very good too. They also reheat great in the oven and crisp back up. read more

Just ok. The pork egg rolls were very tasty but very small. Chicken Pad Thai egg rolls were all noodles and very small too - not much flavor or filling in either. The chicken fried rice was honestly horrible. It was flavorless and funky, and the rice was very tacky/sticky. Barely anything in it...I think one piece of chicken and a small piece at that, 2 pieces of broccoli stem and barely any egg. Definitely not worth the money all around. We spent $37 on egg rolls and fried rice and threw the rice out. Left feeling underwhelmed and having wasted money. read more

I just had these today in St Peter. 3 small pork egg rolls for $10, and the absolute worst egg rolls I have ever eaten. Flavorless. They are filled with 80% glass noodles. No cabbage, 1 tiny little amount of ground pork and a couple other little bits of other veggie parts from what I could tell. Made with cheap ingredients, and I did not even finish eating them. Pretty much every egg roll I have ever had at any Chinese buffet was many times better than these. For another $2 I could have got an awesome entire huge sandwich at any other food truck there. I don't understand why a business that specializes in egg rolls can't do better than a fried roll with almost no filling or flavor?

Yummy, crispy and perfectly rolled little egg rolls. We bought 10 at happy hour for $8 (normally$12); 5 pork and 5 pad Thai and they were great! Light and crispy and very flavorful. They were so good, we went back and ordered the chicken alfredo and cheeseburger flavors. Each eggroll came with a sauce: sweet and sour for the pork and hot sauce for the pad Thai, a thousand island type sauce for the cheeseburger and alfredo sauce for the chicken alfredo rolls. Our vote is for the cheeseburger and pork rolls. Hands down SO good! Each order came out super quick, hot and fresh. I know these little rolls of goodness would steal the show at a party! read more

This food truck comes to the hospital I work at regularly. Egg rolls are just "ok." Small sized. The flavor options really take away from what a true egg roll is; for example, one tasted like a taco roll from the elementary school cafeteria line (back in the day). The fried rice and pad Thai servings are huge. The fried rice is flavorful but not "fried" if you will...it's more steamed and seasoned. Food is usually prepared pretty quickly unless there are a lot of people ahead of you. You CAN go online and order ahead of time to save time. read more
