Blower Door Test results: 39-qty of the can lighting are NOT sealed (=Winter heat escapes into Attic. =Summer 180 degree heat penetrates into the house (we had -0- ridge vents) Outside Wall Sockets are also NOT sealed. Thermal Imaging results: all 3 tray ceilings JOISTS are visible from inside (= -0- to "dusting" insulation above in the attic not per code in SC R38 ~22" Blown Insulation. We will turnover the report to builder for our 1yr Warranty expecting another "denied", but if not we'll insist PE crew perform the work confident house would finally pass code. My husband and I have recently encountered some very disturbing circumstances regarding the HVAC system in our apartment. I called the local health department seeking someone to do a air quality check as we were just staying sick and getting worse. She directed me to look on the internet for Quality Air Tests...That is how we found Kevin. Long story short Kevin came to us and tested our apartment, we learned that we had been breathing very toxic mold as a result of poor maintenance not only in the HVAC system but also proving that maintenance had spray painted directly over this toxic mold in the bathroom and closets. We are now out of the environment and undergoing testing as we had actually been inhaling and ingesting these toxins. We are slowly getting better, and we thank the Good Lord for leading us to Quality Air Consultants. Kevin rendered to us the reports necessary to give to our landlord, and doctors proving reason beyond any doubt that our illnesses were directly related to these toxins. We are also going to use these reports during the litigation process and it has been very helpful to our attorney. This was so unnecessary, as if only the responsible maintenance and management persons would have cared to do their job correctly, they would have noticed 35 years of mold growth in the drain tray of our HVAC system. There wasn't even a drain outlet for the water to run off. Hence we discovered a two foot tray by two inches high of Aspergillius Penicillium Cladisporium etc... It was like some sort of gelatinous mess! Now if you are a country music fan then you have heard that sweet song by Alabama; "Angels Among Us" When I think of how Blessed we were to have Kevin go out of his way to do our test at a very affordable rate; I know this song is true. As I was out of town, my wife took the day off from work on the scheduled day, and she called Chris Albrecht (owner) to confirm the appointment on 12 September 2024. After a few text exchanges he called me. Initially he said he didn't know who I was, but then later in the conversation remembered. He said he didn't have me on the schedule as he had made a mistake, which I completely understand. Then he said, "I'll give you the name of another guy". I commented that it would take another couple of weeks. He got very angry at my comment and said he was not coming at all, that he had plenty of business. I thought it odd that he made the mistake, interrupted our lives to accommodate his schedule, and he then got "on fire" mad that I stated the obvious that it would now be even longer. He seems to run a company with a very short fuse, and disregard for his customers. He reiterated that he had plenty of business and didn't need mine. I guess he's sure he'll have plenty of business the rest of his life and that he can afford to treat potential customers poorly. I don't recommend for anyone to employ his services.

There has been nothing but pushy attitude and confusion. Let's not forget the nonstop lying about talking to certain people when all of this was confirmed to be false. Jason told me they've been in business for 12 years yet the BBB says 3 years. Then my uncle was signed up with 4.9% interest rate with the wrong company when he was promised 3.9%. Don't waste your time with this headache. They make everything sound like it's going to be worth it when it's not. Check their google reviews, there's been way more 1 stars then their good ones.

I had asked for a recommendation on our local community neighborhood website for someone to service…read morea gas fireplace. Several of the responses were for the same person, who came highly recommended. I made arrangements for that person to come out. He said he was busy but could come out the following week. No problem - we could wait a week. In the meantime, Craig from One Hour Heating sent me a message in response to my posting. I didn't respond at first, because I thought we were all set. A week goes by and we hear nothing from that other person. I text him and he says he was super busy and he would have to come out the following week. Seeing as how he didn't proactively reach out to me to say he couldn't come and that I had to contact him instead, plus the new delay, I contacted Craig. Craig was very responsive and set up the appointment for the next business day. Not one, but three service technicians showed up - on time!. They were very courteous and friendly. I showed them what needed to be done - replace a gas valve which I had already purchased - and they got right to work. It took about 90 minutes and the job was completed with no issues. The fireplace is now running again and looks great. Interestingly, just before I started writing this review, the "other guy" texted me and said he couldn't come by yesterday (Thursday) because he got busy, but he could come out later today (Friday). Well, he never even made arrangements to come yesterday. By texting today, he was giving me an hour or two notice. Not a good method of communicating with customers or scheduling. One Hour Heating communicated perfectly and followed up after the job to make sure I was all set. While they were at the house, the three technicians said they would come back if there were any problems. Good way to win customers! Craig gave me a price ahead of time and that's what the final bill was - exactly what he quoted! And the price was fair. I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future. I thought the phone line went down as we are under heavy construction in the area. I stopped by the office at 49 Pennington Dr, Bluffton, SC 29910. The sign was removed and there is no furniture. Clearly they are out of business. What a disaster! Next stop. Corporate. Let's see if they honor the contract.
