The service team at BD Summit Ford is EXCELLENT. They were able to schedule both of our vehicles for routine maintenance within a few days of my request and very courteous and professional upon scheduling. Super accommodating as they picked up and dropped off my vehicle from work, so I would not have to leave. FANTASTIC job team, we will be repeat customers!! Tracey S. read more

Terrible customer service, on initial contact!!!! the truck we put money down on and was then promised to someone else (but his financing fell thru) was then offered back to us. Wow, so after much frustration and consideration we decided to give them a second chance and worked with a different salesman Gabriel (can't say enough good things about him) he took the time and was very knowledgeable on the features of the truck we bought. I still have reservation about this dealership especially the overpriced extended warrenty they try to sell you. The extended warranty directly from Ford was thousands of dollar less and had more options. read more

Summit has always been my number 1 go to whether it's for services or buying a new car, everyone is always friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. Great Business! 10/10 read more

Had called the dealership to verify a vehicle that I wanted to buy was still available before I made the hour and a half drive. I spoke with the salesman who stated that he would take it off the lot and hold it for me to get there. So I took off of work. Drop my daughter off at daycare. And made the hour and a half drive up to the dealership. I was literally about to pull into the driveway when I received a call from that salesman stating he had just sold the vehicle to someone else. But wanted to try to sell me a different vehicle. Unbelievably frustrating that I was told a vehicle would be held for me to purchase And then sold out from underneath me. I wasted three hours of my drive time. $100 in gas. Money spent on daycare. And money lost at work for absolutely nothing. The manager I spoke to was nice and apologetic. However, I would still never do business with this dealership considering they don't take peoples time and money seriously and they're willing to toss decency and honesty out the window for a sale when they probably could've sold two cars if they would've held to their word. read more

I recently contacted this dealership in regards to purchasing a vehicle for my daughter. Unfortunately I was under the impression I could contact them get information in the purchasing process would be simple. Instead I was bombarded with multiple phone calls, even after I told them I would contact them directly they continually called or text me multiple times. Lesson learned I will now never contact a dealership without using a fake number or an app phone number this type of harassment is unwanted and completely unacceptable. I WILL NEVER USE THIS DEALER AND ADVISE ANYONE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING EITHER USE ANOTHER DEALERSHIP OR BE CAREFUL HOW MUCH INFORMATION THE GIVE OUT read more

Summit Ford - Car Dealers Near Me - Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

I will be paying for this mistake for the next 5 years... I bought a used truck from Beaver Dam Ford and had it shipped to the West Coast. It arrived with several EXISTING mechanical issues, NONE of which were disclosed at the time of purchase. Beaver Dam made good on a couple of the simple repairs (the ones that should have been fixed before it left their lot; the rotted out tires and faulty brakes), but it quickly broke down again. The amount of rust on this truck is unbelievable, and NONE of the pictures, nor descriptions said anything about it. I'm having to do the work myself because after a $600/month payment I can't afford to take it to a shop. The u-joints on the front and rear driveshaft have gone out and the rust is so bad they cannot be rebuilt (the c-clip channel is too corroded). $1100 later for new driveshafts.... The front axle u-joints are also shot and I am looking at another $800 because none of those parts can be reworked either. All of the bolts underneath the truck are rusted making service incredibly expensive or impossible with destroying the mating part. When I took the truck to get it smogged, the mechanic said that I will be lucky if the exhaust lasts 2 years and I should look into replacing it. There is another couple thousand. Did I mention this truck has 50k miles? I just took it to my local alignment shop and they said they won't work on it again as the work took twice as long as it should have. All of the adjusters were frozen in place and the whole steering assembly needed to be replaced ($1000+ in parts, plus labor).... This truck will never be as reliable as it should have been.... I have purchased several cars online and never had any issues. If the condition of the truck was known at the time, I would have RAN from it. The outside and inside look great, but everything under it is trashed. As for their Service Department, I would NOT have them do any work on my car. Since their mechanics thought that this truck was in good enough condition to be sold, there is no reason to think that their repair work on your car will be any better. Also, there was a large hole in the firewall that they somehow missed and the only reason I found it is because my kids were getting nauseous from the fumes! Ironically, the sales/finance people that I spoke with were very friendly and responsive. If you see that "deal of a lifetime" from them I would strongly recommend seeing it in person AND taking it to a 3rd party mechanic to look it over. read more

Fantastic car and fantastic experience, particularly given that this was an out-of-state purchase for me. Adam went WELL beyond the call of duty to take care of everything related to my car from a nice custom video showing me some things I wanted to see on vehicle to taking care of getting it ready and safely on the truck to me. This stuff matters when buying something sight unseen: you go by pictures and data but great support from the salesperson helps in a major way. They stand behind their customers and the sale, and I am digging this car enormously! Thanks! read more

I bought my Fiat Pop 500 used from Beaver Dam Ford after finding their post of it online. It was as-advertised (actually in a lot better shape then advertised) and arragining a date to meet up with them was very easy. Amiable service, willing to work with pricing, answer any questions and a large selection of new and used cars to look at as well as test drive. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking for something new or used; but would check the website to see what's available before making the trip. read more

The dealership was really good about getting back to me every time I had a question. They process the paperwork quickly and efficiently. I bought the vehicle from another state and they were able to accommodate everything online and through the mail. Of course accommodating contactless delivery as well. Very pleased with the experience. read more

After searching far and wide for a vehicle, I found more than I was looking for over the border in Wisconsin at Summit Ford. I can't recommend our salesperson, Jaime Hansen enough. She was timely, responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had contacted a number of dealerships in my search. She was the type of salesperson that I appreciate. Knowledgeable, quick to answer questions, find information, hear out concerns/desires. I would travel again to buy my next Ford to work with her. read more

Do NOT get pulled in to looking for a car here during a sales event! This is a regionally owned dealership, which sounds well and good for having access to a wider selection of vehicles from around the area, but for sales events they also apparently pull in their pushiest (and not necessarily most helpful) salespeople from around the area, too. The guy we dealt with started out seeming like he was listening to what we were looking for, but when he walked away from us to look at what might be on the lot, instead of coming back with a few options, (they had more than one that fit our needs,) he came back with a single vehicle that was just over the price range we asked for and insisted on a test drive. He then didn't show us any other vehicles that visit, and even refused to discuss a sales price unless we committed qcome back the next night. We did still go back, although the vehicle we'd driven was actually smaller than we wanted and not really for us. We had an hour before we had to get home for company, and the salesman found a second vehicle that we had to test drive, and then after we repeatedly said we had to leave he took ten minutes to show us their website. Conclusion: they do everything they can to keep you in the store until you give in. He would walk away when we had more to tell or ask him, stand awkwardly around when my husband and I wanted to discuss something on our own, and push for a test drive on vehicles we weren't even immediately impressed with. And two smaller things that bothered me; he walked through the door before us instead of holding it for the customers, and the second night we were there, despite the dozen or more salespeople around, (only about 3 customers,) a spilled coffee cup on a ledge was left sitting for at least the 45 minutes we were there. read more

Do not buy a vehicle from here! Long story short make sure to print the posted ad because if anything doesn't work they will say you need to show me the ad where it states it IS working. I didn't print it and he said there's no way to get the original ad once the vehicle has sold. Needless to say they don't back their vehicles at all and it's up to you to prove that they listed it as working. This was Pat the manager telling me this. The long story.... The manager Pat is horrible, no one there knows what is going on except Holly. I bought an Equinox from them about a month ago. Before buying the vehicle I expressed my concern with the tires, they still had tread on them but seemed really old and cracked. They assured me they were at 50% so I had to take it or leave it. A few days after taking it home I noticed the tires kept loosing air and the alarm kept coming on, then a few weeks after I bought it I called about the manual shifting not working and also mentioned the tires. I talked to pat and he told me to come up Wed morning. When I got there after taking off work and driving 40 min they said I wasn't in the system and didn't have an appointment. They would try to squeeze me in. They found the shifter indeed was not working but they wouldn't fix it. I asked why it was listed as an automatic with the feature to be manual if the manual shifter didn't work. He said well you would have to prove that it is supposed to work and that it was listed as a feature on the ad that was posted. I said is there any way to get a copy of the ad because it's no longer available on the internet. He said no once a car sells that the ad is gone forever. So needless to say there is no way I can prove it because they deleted the ad. They are very disorganized there, the dealership doesn't communicate with the mechanic side, they lost my second key that was sent to them from the original dealership it was for sale at. Them trying to say I never had an appointment and wasting 5 hours of me waiting up there just to tell me it wouldn't be done for the day and I'd have to go home and come back tomorrow that along with everything else just made the experience horrible. I even told the manager that my experience was horrible and he said well we fixed everything you asked us to aka the stuff they promised before I bought the car, and that I should be greatful for that. Yes thank you so much for doing what should have been done before I bought the car, fixing the chipped windshield, leaking tires, car wash and detail. Just go somewhere else and don't waste your time here. read more

My husband & I have purchased two vehicles from Beaver Dam Ford this year. Our salesman, Jacob, was great! He's professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. At no point did we feel pressured. Jacob and the sales manager worked quickly to meet a price that would fit our budget for the Edge we purchased. Holly, the finance manager, was so friendly and fun to chat with while signing the paperwork to finalize everything. Of course, I cannot forget to mention the service department. The lady service employee (my brain cannot remember her name... grr!) was friendly and helpful. We went in with my Lincoln with an issue we knew about, and they never charged us for the diagnostic fee. We only paid for the oil change and decided to buy a newer vehicle later that day. When it's time to purchase another vehicle, Beaver Dam Ford will have our business. read more

Beaver Dam Ford is the epitome of customer service. From Jason, a mechanic who greeted us as if we were close friends to the professional salesman that treated us with the upmost respect working towards his life goal of moving to Costa Rica, we came in as customers and left as family. 10/10 would recommend this dealership for your next car purchase or service. TERRIBLE experience. Workers in service are SOO rude! Bought my first car here and the lady wouldn't allow my boyfriend in there because we "aren't married" I'm 18 and wanted him in there. The day I bought my car, left the dealership and went to Madison right after and realized I had a oil leak so bad it was spraying all over. Called them and had to drive back for them to fix it. (The seal was completely broken) got home and had a headlight out! Took it back the next morning and they fixed it. Couple weeks after that I had issues starting it, took it in and Mary at the service desk told me it's because I was using the after market key (I had no idea it was a after market key) and that I should use the other key. So I used the other key and it was good for a few weeks. After a few weeks I couldn't start it again so I took it in and they fixed the satellite receiver. Well that helped for a few weeks and then after that I was going to work and it wouldn't start and I had to have my manager come and get me!! They gave and got my car and turns out it was my starter. They did help me out with a loaner car for the mean time but this was all in the first 2 months of buying the car! Now I'm on the 8th month and my headlight has gone out 3 times on top of the other stuff. I can't believe this car passed a safety check let alone they sold me a car like this! NEVER will I ever recommend this place to anyone!! read more

I purchased a used commercial vehicle private party. I am from Tampa Florida. I flew to Wisconsin to pick it up and drive it back to Florida. But before I purchased the vehicle, I had Beaver Dam Ford do a complete inspection on it as I was about to drive across the country. They said there was no problem with the vehicle. Upon completing my drive we took it to Gator Ford in Tampa Florida to check out again and both my front and rear brakes were shot. We would have spent money with Beaver Dam to replace the pads.....now it turned into a $1900 job instead of a $700-$800 job. We have the support of our local Ford dealership that this should have been caught by Beaver Dam Ford. We contacted Beaver Dam hoping that they would return some of the money spent with them on the inspection so we could apply it to our repair bill and got nowhere!!!! We are very lucky that I did arrive safely in Florida. Never take your car to them. read more
