NAPA's best alternator is $240.00 after their mark-up. They charged her $180.00 in labor. There were other minor costs with taxes that added another $100.00 to the bill. I called the owner and politely asked to reconsider the high cost for a simple repair. He refused to change the bill. I told him we wouldn't come back for service in the future and he didn't care. Perfect example of taking advantage of a woman.

I pulled over and gave Accel a call, and their mechanic was able and willing to slide under my car and detach the rest of it (it's not essential for vehicle operation) to get me safely back on the road until I have a chance to get it replaced. It only took a minute or two to undo a few screws, but I was still willing to pay something for his time, which he declined. Any place willing to squeeze in the time to help someone in dire straits for free can certainly be trusted to give a fair deal on regular repairs and maintenance!

I understand that used cars can come with risks, but a vehicle failing almost immediately raises serious concerns about how it was inspected or represented before sale. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when considering buying a vehicle from this dealer. Make sure to get an independent inspection and understand exactly what you're getting into, because support after the purchase will not be there.

Within the first 3 weeks the cat converter failed and front suspension need some work; Klietz handled all of the service without cost back to us. The car was not on a warranty but it was handled as a matter of good customer service. We cannot recommend Klietz enough. What a great experience.
