A bunch of crooks that do more harm then good, absolutely nothing wrong with the car when i went in it just needed an oil change and tire rotation as soon as i left the power steering and abs lights keep coming on. They deny any fault. Also tried to get me to pay $1400 for a new power steering rack because it had a "bad leak". That was over a year ago and I have yet to add a drop. Drove 4 hours one way to trade in my gmc sierra 2500 truck i bought from kyle(salesman here). Kyle over the phone offered me 47,000 trade in value on my truck he sold me. I told him the exact amount of miles the truck would have at trade in 19,175. Which was the miles it was at when i arrived. I was trading in my truck on a new 2019 i was ordering out. They looked and my vehicle and the air conditioning line was kinked causing the leak. When it was ready I asked how much I owe they told me nothing. Extremely disappointed with the service department. Upon my first oil change on my brand new Chevy Cruze I was informed they stripped out the drain plug and would order a new one. Great, they admitted their mistake and are willing to correct it. At my next oil change the drain plug was replaced as promised. Fast forward to today where I take it in to a different Chevy dealer for it's fourth oil change as Countryside was to busy to get me in. The technician advised me he was having extreme difficulty in removing the drain plug as it is chewed up and stripped again. They are ordering a new one again. So either Countryside GM never replaced the drain plug as it shows on my paperwork or they simply can't figure out how to remove oil drain plug correctly. Either way, extremely disappointing. read more

Online sales manager I talked to on phone said if I drive out there and 'put my money where my mouth is' he would work on price. That was not true, when I showed up he only offered 300 more than we talked on phone and then they gave me car with half a tank didn't even fill up. He was trying to make a quick sale and became irritated when I questioned him on what he agreed 2 over phone. Typical character traits I would expect from a third rate sales rep. I would have walked out but wife liked car. Will never return to any countryside auto dealer and everyone I talk to will know what a bad experience I had. read more

Will not go back to countryside gm in Beaver Dam, WI. The service associate Jeff is a stuck up prick I went in for a simple recall on my chevy malibu and left with a right turn signal that worked when it wants to. Then after that I spoke to Jeff over the phone he had a hard time speaking on the phone you could barely hear him, he was telling me they would inspect it and discover the issue but if it had nothing to do with the part in the recall I would have to pay them for the inspection. I then took my legal consultant with me the next time and he changed his tone and said they would inspect just the area they worked in. I took it back to them to inspect their work and they told me nothing was wrong after looking at it for 20 minutes when the first time it took them about an hour. I brought the car home inspected their work and found the spacer they used was the issue. So Jeff the service associate was very rude everytime I spoke to him and the certified service mechanics are a joke. read more

Could not find the actual Dealership on yelp but I see others posting about the sales area of the dealership. First of all the Service Dept has always been great to deal with. Last week my wife and I stopped in to look at cars, my wife wanted a Trax or Encore. The salesman "Pete" approached us and asked if he could help, we told him we wanted to look at the Chev Trax and he said he only had one and pinted it out to us. He asked us if we were planning on buying today and we said no. Well he could not ditch us fast enough. Went in to look at the Malibu, Equinox, and Cruze. I was able to test drive each vehicle, and didn't need to dance around options I didn't want or ask for. Sales person actually listened to what I was saying and didn't try to upsell me on a higher mileage lease or vehicle. The entire process took about an hour and a half including multiple test drives. Quick and easy, and my new Malibu is great. read more

Even when we left with no car because we couldn't get what we wanted, they still worked until 8:00 at night and got us the car we wanted. They never gave up helping us. Drove up from Madison in response to a used car ad on Cars.com. Dave was our salesman. He was polite, helpful, professional, but even beyond that, he was a pleasure to work with, and an entertaining conversationalist to boot. We got a great deal on the car, arranged for financing for our daughter, and drove home the same night in spite of arriving at 6:30 PM. I pull up and get out of the car. There are 4 people sitting at their computer looking around. No one greets me. So I go up to someone and let them know I have a 8am appointment. Mind you, I just drove an hour and 30 mins from Milwaukee with a one year old. They warned me that it would take 2 hours to fix my car. I was waiting 4 and a half hours. Then they tell me they made the problem worse and I'd have to come back and wait an additional 3 to 4 hours, to call back Monday to schedule. I hate wasting my time. read more

My husband & I stopped in here to look at pickups. We did our research and we knew what we wanted. They tried their best to change our mind, they wanted us to buy a Chevy. The salesperson we were dealing with and the floor manager kept separating me from my husband. The salesperson and the floor manager treated me like I was an idiot....they talked down to me like I need to do what my husband wants me to do. My husband & I are a team and that doesn't work with us. Boys...it is no longer 1950 and it is NOT okay to treat a woman like she doesn't know anything about vehicles especially a woman who religiously watches Top Gear BBC. If you think a woman should stay home in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant.....you need a new career. When this place was Tom Reilly I bought a new 1995 Grand Am from them...they treated me like crap back then too. When I went to pick up my new car the salesman kept me waiting for two hours because he was too busy dealing with a couple who wanted to buy a Cadillac. Went to Countryside to see about THEIR ad on THEIR website. It was for a Impala lease, the salesman new nothing of it so he gets the manager and guess what? He knows nothing of it, it's their website and their sale. They of course offered other leases at higher prices but not the one they advertised. I asked them to appraise my vehicle so I knew where I stood. All I got was we will do some research and call you tomorrow. Guess what no call and it's been 3 days since my visit. I now went to Zimbrick Eastside and bought a new GM, night and day difference, they actually knew what was on THEIR own website. Never again will I or any of my family shop at Countryside and I'll inform all my GM friends. read more

Countryside had extended us a $1000 trade in bonus on any car on their lot. They had exactly what we had been looking for also. As we were signing the paperwork my wife noticed and pointed out that the $1k had not been credited anywhere. After some finger pointing the sales manager/owner??? steped in and told us that they would not honor the deal as our trade in was not worth anything... After 2 hours of sitting and waiting they were just going to try and push the deal through like nothing ever happened? Pretty dishonest and shady. I will not be dealing with them again! read more

I had a terrible experience with this dealer and wouldn't recommend them to anybody. I drove up from Milwaukee to take a look at a used Chevy Silverado they had. Gary, the used car sales manager, called me about ten minutes before I got there making sure I was still coming. I got there and met Gary and we went out to look at the truck. It was a beautiful truck that I was ready to buy after we took it out for a test drive and all of that. While the truck was warming up for the test drive (cold day in February), Gary and I went in to discuss my trade in before taking it on the test drive. After getting the VIN on my trade, he said he had one more thing to take care of and asked me to take one more look at the truck before we went on the test drive. I went out and came back in after about five minutes to find another customer in Gary's office. After talking to another salesman for about two hours, Gary came back to inform me they sold that truck to the guy sitting in his office! I don't understand how we went from getting info on my trade with the truck warming up for the test drive to him selling it to a different customer in the dealership when I had an appointment to come up and see it in the first place. There is no communication between the people that work here and it sets themselves up for people to go here and have terrible experiences like the one I had. read more

This business sold us a 2005 truck with a LOT of problems that they will not acknowledge exist, despite statements by two other business, one of them a large Chevrolet dealer. Do NOT take their word on any used vehicle without having it checked at a good shop because they don't care what they send a customer out with. I went there as they had the exact truck I was looking for and the internet price on their website was almost $6000 under MSRP. Salesman quoted me the same low price and a sticker in the window had a "sale price" of about $6000 under MSRP. I leased the vehicle and didn't catch it until later that they raised the price about $3800 over the price I was quoted. They also told me my lease payment would drop by $5.00 a month if I signed up for a GM credit card so I did. When I went back to talk to Finance Manager he told me some rebates didn't apply to leases, however when I asked for an amount he couldn't or wouldn't give me a number. I called up GM Finance to inquire about the lease payment dropping if I took GM credit card, and was told they knew nothing about this. I complained to GM customer service who referred me back to dealership. I would never do business with this dealership again. Very unethical and deceitful practices. read more

I went in here on the recommendation of a friend. I had a very limited budget but was told over the phone by the salesman that "he could help me" He showed me one, and I mean ONE car. I test drove it for under five minutes. Meanwhile , he worked frantically to get me financing that I really hadn't asked for. I knew what I could afford and what I couldn't but that made no difference to this scummy salesman. While putting in my financial info I heard him say that we were going to claim my $900 per month rent was only $500 per month. In hindsight I realized I had seen NONE of the figures that he entered in my behalf. He obviously wanted to get me financing and didn't care, as I did, if the figures were even remotely accurate. After about an hour he slapped some paperwork in front of me and claimed that he "made it work". The entire budget that I had presented him with had turned into a mere down payment followed by an additional 72 payments of $100. As I sat there in disbelief I asked if I could have two days to think about it and he rudely said that he had worked for me today and wasn't going to do it again on the following Monday, He said he was there to sell cars and if I didn't sign right there and now I should just be on my way. I realized I didn't even know what the make and model of the car was because it had been run by me so quickly, He never opened the trunk, turned on the headlights, or anything that you would expect to have done when making a major purchase. He had one objective and one objective only and that was to make money off of me. Didn't seem to bother him that he lied on my credit application or that he had added an addition; $7200 onto what I told him I was looking to spend. I have NEVER felt so pressured in my life. I cannot believe the tactics he used to try and get me to make a MAJOR car purchase within an hour of stepping foot in the place. Anyone who will lie on a credit application is probably also lying about the products he is selling. Watch out. read more
