Since people regularly seek suggestions for remodeling companies, I wanted to share our experience and some pictures of the final product. The experience of working with them from the initial communication to every stage throughout the process was superb. We worked directly with James Pulliam, who's the head of their remodeling department. James was extremely helpful and professional, especially in his consistent communication. He was on-site several days each week to check on the progress and speak with us. The craftsmen were also fantastic, with the same three gentleman working throughout the project. They were courteous, personable, communicative, knowledgeable, and highly skilled.

When they saw the panic on my face the first day, after discovering what comes with living in a construction zone, they jumped into problem solving mode immediately. They came up with a plan to keep my house as dust free as possible, even though it made their job harder. It did not slow them down at all though, as they far exceeded the timeline! I am so thankful, as are my two babies! James and Omar were awesome but the real stars were our daily on site workers, Rodrigo and his partner! Drywall was cut to find the source of the leak along with jack hammering through concrete in the kitchen and laundry room leaving HUGE gapes in the floor for weeks. The plumbers we hired left our house in complete shambles. We got some bids from professional flooring companies to put our home back together and decided to go with Masters flooring and I'm glad we did! The very day I called Masters, Julie was at my house within an hour to take measurements. I knew that day I'd probably hire them because that impressed me. We got an estimate on our project pretty quickly and it just went from there. She recommended an amazing painting company, Ben Moore Painters, who made our house look brand new! This company responds quickly, is attentive to the customers requests, extremely patient, and takes pride in their finished product. I highly recommend them.

We had this company install all new carpet squares in our church sanctuary. The very next morning…read morewe had multiple pieces of carpet coming loose on our platform. They came back and fixed those pieces and two weeks later we notice pieces on both sides of the room coming up. They come back again to repair all these pieces coming loose. A couple weeks later we notice multiple pieces in the back of the sanctuary coming up. I called and told them I wanted to talk to someone in charge. They had one of their key personnel call me. They finally come out with the installer and salesman to look at the problem. Then they schedule another rep to come out with them another time. They did not roll the carpet with a weighted roller after install. The rep they bring in admits this was a part of the problem so they agree to replace the carpet. At the time of this review they just finished the full replacement install today at 3:00 pm. I watched the install. When they finished as the salesman told me they would roll the carpet and do so both directions. I watched the worker through the entire rolling process. He only rolled it one direction. They were about to leave and I had called their lead person but while waiting for them to call back I asked if they rolled it both ways. They said they had. Yet I watched them not do so and even have it on video through our security cameras. They then received a call from the salesman and brought the roller back in. I have now just a couple of hours after the install already found two areas again where the carpet is coming up. I sent video and a picture to the main contact. The response, "Should be a quick fix. We will try and come out on Monday". If you install the carpet properly the first time, there would be no need to come back again. I have never had this many issues with any carpet company. I went with them through a referral of another company that had done work for us. I would highly recommend if you are thinking of using them for commercial carpet install, find someone else. When I told them I wanted a different crew this time, they tell me this is the only crew they have to do this install.

I got floors & baseboards done totaling ~$20k. They never told me that they'd leave big gaps under…read moremy door frames where there was the tile. They told me it was in the checklist contract but it is not! Then the baseboards came out absolutely horrible! They're dirty, they didn't fill the nail holes and used too big of a nail gun that even after they came back the first time and put wood filler it didn't fix it, some have large gaps underneath meaning they didn't level the floors properly, there's sloppy caulk all along the top, rough edges from where they cut the boards and didn't sand them, they didn't paint them, there were nicks and chips from install, 2 boards bowed out from the wall to where I could stick my finger in the caulk, 2 boards completely overlapped, got caulk all over my black door stops, cut boards jagged around the toilet valve, forgot to install one door stop, and broke a piece of my wall off. It was just a mess. They sent the crew back out which they replaced the board that overlapped but now there's a very obvious seam where they cut it and put it back, and tried to push one bowing board closer to the wall but left the second one, and put wood filler on the nail holes sloppily and didn't sand or paint anything, & put some caulk where they broke a chunk off the wall. The general manager came the next day to look at everything. 2 weeks later they arrive & ask me for paint, which I wasn't told prior. After they did my room they asked me to look and you could see the nail holes still, streaks from the paint brushes, and they didn't sand anything rough edges. I asked them if they had foam rollers instead of the brushes and they said no so I gave them some. They told the GM and he told them to stop and leave. The worker said they'd get me actual painters because they're floor installers. I've reached out to their scheduling lady Karen twice and she isn't replying.

My wife and I had delayed replacing flooring in the common areas of our home because we were not…read moresure what we wanted and we dreaded the workload of preparing for the installation. We visited KD Floors based on the number of positive reviews. We decided to go with them for several reasons: (1) the sales staff patiently answered our numerous questions and worked with us to select the right flooring for us (engineered hardwood). (2) KD Floors has its own installation crew, so they do not contract out install jobs. and (3) the price was competitive with other locations we had shopped. Once we selected the product, KD Flooring sent an estimator out to take measurements and they provided us an estimate the next day. The estimate included removing 600 sq. ft. of ceramic tile and installing 1200 sq. ft. of engineered wood flooring. We delayed ordering the flooring and scheduling the install for several months due to Covid 19, but scheduled for July and paid 1/2 of the estimate as deposit. The installation crew spoke limited English but were very professional and did an outstanding job. They arrived on time, coordinated with us as necessary, and cleaned up at the end of each day. No complaints, they did an excellent job. The only complaint I have, as constructive criticism, is the lack of follow up by the sales office. After we received the estimate via email, there was no follow-up via phone or email even though we did not call to schedule for several months. I could dismiss this since we received the estimate in early March, just as the Covid 19 issues was flaring up. However, there was not one call during the install to see how things were going, and no call after the installation to ensure we were satisfied; just an emailed invoice for the balance. We are very happy with our new floors, and will use KD Floors again in the future.

I was really nervous to have these guys come and clean my carpets, after reading the reviews but I…read moream ecstatic with the job done. The prices were comparable, I shopped around, but they were the only company that could come on short notice. I'm moving and needed my carpets cleaned before my furniture comes. The stains were horrible and every single one of them are gone. I'm shocked at how good my carpets look and smell. The rep, Bruce, was super friendly, he did mention some "other guys" that we're not so nice and would rip people off. We talked, he gave me advice on how to clean future pet messes and even spent a few minutes with my dogs. The only negative is the time frame. They told me they'd be here between 12p-5p. While they came within the timeframe, which made me happy, it seems like a more accurate/a shorter timeframe should be easier to figure out. For any of my future carpet cleanings I will definitely use these guys and recommend them and also Bruce to people I know!

Our neighbor was pleased with the service, so we had PSCC do our house. We moved all the furniture we could out the way and off all the carpet. Only thing left on the carpet was the beds, and one large, heavy, piece of furniture. I then vacuumed every bit of our carpet until the dirt sensor, on the vacuum, glowed green (indicating no dirt). Note: While the "cleaning wand" can reach a bit under the beds, the furniture could only be cleaned around. Doug H. was our "Lead Technician". I think he did a good job. Now Yelp used to call 5 stars "As good as it gets", and never having this done before, I wouldn't know. But now Yelp calls 5 stars great, and 4 stars good. And since I think a good job was done, I'll go with 4. About the only thing I didn't like is that our living room was considered two rooms, "because of the size." Also, closets are cleaned at a flat rate of $30 (which seemed high, but we did get a 2 for deal deal). When Doug finished, he turned on the ceiling fans in all the rooms. I also had cracked all the windows in all the rooms to get some fresh air. We did find one spot that needed a little extra work, but Doug did get it out. We were told to try to stay off the carpet for 6 to 8 hours, but if we had to go on it, wear white socks. I went barefoot the one time I had to get something from one of the rooms. It seemed it took a little longer to dry, but in the end we were pleased with the work done. Oh, our water supply was used, via the hose bib on the side of the house. Bottom line: And now it's almost time to list our home.
