I'm incredibly disappointed that my experience was not like the other reviews…read more My mother had recommended me to Dr. Kimche from their Business Networking group "BNI," where she had personally met Dr. Kimche and had heard fantastic things about him and his practice. I had called, emailed, and called again for almost two months, trying to get in for a cleaning and a consultation on Invisalign. My mother had to write him, personally, Dr. Kimche, for anyone to respond to set up an appointment. Finally, speaking to someone was told that Dr. Kimche was out of town for the last month, but honestly, I feel this to be very unprofessional. Not one person could respond to my several emails or phone calls. During my conversation, I had set up a cleaning and a consultation on Invisalign as well as regarding removing my permanent retainer since I have a metal allergy. They had stated they only had one day available: Monday, a day I work, and I made sure to take some time out of work to make this happen. A week following my appointment, I was sent some paperwork regarding my insurance, the reason for being there, allergies, etc... I filled it out to make the process go faster once I got in there. On the day of my appointment, they stated they had never received any of the paperwork I had filled out until I told them I had, and surprisingly, it show's up! Finally, they took me back, immediately starting me on a scan for the Invisalign instead of the cleaning. I was slightly confused but went with it, thinking they would do this first and then the cleaning. While in the process, I had one of the assistants come up to me and explain that my insurance was giving them a hard time but not at any given time did they say they did not accept my insurance when they had my information for a week. She had stated that since I hadn't used my dental insurance yet, it hadn't been activated!? Again, I was confused! I had never heard of that before, but she said she would take care of it and work with my insurance. In the process of still being scanned, I was told of all the great things Invisalign can do for you and the price for the month that it would take to move my teeth back into place. She had stated it's usually around $2,000, but your insurance tends to either pay half if not more. Hearing this, I wasn't too concered and finally asked about the cleaning I had scheduled for. She acted confused and notified me that the person who did the cleaning had gone home because she wasn't feeling well and was the only one who could do an "excellent cleaning." Again, Unforprofessional! Two days later, I received a phone call from them regarding the Invisalign, where I was told that my insurance would not cover me because I was over eighteen, "mind you, this is my employer-provided insurance"! I am covered! She then told me that a month's supply of Invisalign without insurance would be around $3,000! How did it increase by $1,000 more than I had previously been quoted? I immediately told her NO! I was not going to go through with this! After being on the phone with my insurance, I was told that Dr. Kimche was out of my network, which is why I was not covered. My insurance did not state that I was not covered due to being over eighteen! I am fully covered with a $50 deductible. 100% coverage on preventive care "check-up/cleaning." 50% on all major dental work and orthodontics, including Invisalign! So, during my 2 1/2 hour consultation, I got some relief with the removal of my permanent retainer, no cleaning, and no Invisalign, but a notice from my insurance that there is no coverage at all, and now I owe $360 to a facility who doesn't know their head from their ass! Again, I was still not notified that they did not take my insurance even after, all! Oh, but don't get me wrong, everyone was extremely nice to me, but I would never recommend them to anyone!

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! Everyone in the office of Dr Kimche was exceptional! I…read morelive in Park City part time and broke my front veneer Friday morning. Isn't it almost cliche that a dental check-up is expected to be vaguely menacing? The opposite is…read moretrue at Albion Dental Center-- everything about it is openly inviting and welcoming. The staff continuously builds trust and loyalty through an unwavering commitment to transparency and respect. Especially appreciate that everyone always seems to make a consistent effort to explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. When first moved to the area, tried out different dentists. Was the dental version of Tinder. Like halloween candy, some are good and some are bad but there always is a favorite. The first place was unclean. The second place tried to have me sign paperwork to up-sell services while I was sitting in the chair with mouth filled with fluoride treatment. The third joint prison-shanked my gums during the cleaning likely due to Seinfeldian man hands. The fourth was solidly okay but too far away to be the chosen one...etc. etc. Finally, through word-of-mouth recommendation, tried Albion. Finally, all my prayers to the tooth fairy were heard! Refreshing to be subject of an intuitive awareness of a staff who makes every effort to increase personal comfort and convenience. Albion is first-class service in every respect. The overhead dental light, with its triple axis positioning, when not being rented out as weekend prop in a low budget sci-fi film, is a surreptitious mind-reading ray used to identify patient concerns. Beautiful modern rustic building with easy parking in front. Never more than a short wait-- comfortable tasteful chairs, a large clean fish tank, conservative artwork, and random magazines in the waiting room. Pleasant music. Single occupant use bathrooms provide extra privacy. Receptionists are friendly, efficient, and attentive. Please take your phone calls outside because otherwise everyone knows your precious snowflake did not start the food fight and is only in trouble because Ms. so-and-so is a b-word. Frank Zappa wrote a song about dental floss but did anyone's teeth get cleaner? Seriously though, its easy to talk about taking good care of your teeth, but actually going in on regular basis takes effort. Albion Dental makes it a little easier by offering a computerized appointment system that automatically texts your phone with a day-before reminder. As back-up, if you forget to respond to the text then they call. Better than Siri. Grab one (or more) dental related freebies from the gift basket on the way out to add to the gift bag that comes standard at the end of each visit. Gift bag includes the usual dental visit suspects: traveler-sized toothpaste, toothbrush, and dental floss. Not sure why it is called 'Albion'. Googled that-- perhaps in reference to fact that the name is postulated by historians to have been inspired by the White Cliffs of Dover of the British coastline. These magnificent cliffs are composed of a soft, white chalk with a very fine-grained texture, primarily of coccoliths, that are plates of calcium carbonate formed by coccolithophores, single-celled planktonic algae whose skeletal remains sank to the bottom of the ocean during the Cretaceous period; which now resembles a bright beaming smile if it were a MoMa installation piece. Magenta's mouth (you know, the one that gloriously opened Rocky Horror Picture Show) would approve. May the floss be with you!
