The moon milk latte is now my go-to when I want to treat myself to a coffee on the way to work. Their drive thru line is never too long and it moves quickly. This location happens to be close to my parents' house so it's become a go to whenever I visit. They also have a drive thru which is nice, especially during Covid. The drive thru is hit or miss when it comes to the wait. There have been times when I have waited 30 minutes, and other times I was in and out in 5 minutes. At any rate, the coffee is great and it's a nice change from Starbucks. I get my moon milk fix and get to support local! Win win! read more

I should have written this review long ago...THANK YOU, Summer Moon for having a clear method for communicating sweetness in your drinks. Your coffee is delicious and the "whisper" of moon milk is my everything :) At many coffee spots, I hear myself spouting a near-apologetic request for "just one pump of syrup, please" and then receiving an ok-annoying-lady vibe in response from across the counter. But not at Summer Moon. This place of perfection offers us a full spectrum of sugary (or not--your call!) delights. Without confusion, judgement, or implied inconvenience. Love this place! The only downside is that everyone else appreciates them, too. Expect to have a wait during peak times. But...worth it! read more

Coffee is SO delicious. Especially love their moon milk series, but even if you like black coffee, their nitro is especially delicious and strong. Love that you can get the moon milk with dairy free options. Beware that the moon milk drinks are EXTREMELY creamy & overwhelming with sweetness. Even just a quarter moon milk is so sweet. My fav combo is a moon milk latte (quarter) made with almond milk. Omg, just drooling thinking about it now. Love it more than ol' faithful Starbucks. The shop itself is SO cute!! Perfect for a morning date or catching up with friends. The 4 stars is because the wait is ridiculous. The wait in the car is literally 30-40 minutes at peak Saturday/Sunday rush, and the wait inside can get comparably long (and then u have to wait for the drink!) wish they had a way to make the experience quicker. Make sure you're in the drive thru or standing in line with someone you love, cause it's going to be awhile! TIP: the candles they sell are overpriced but I can't lie, the "Moon Milk" scent is one one of my fav candles I've ever had. Smells sweet but not overwhelming. Adds a very cozy smell to our home. We were avid and loyal customers before as we felt welcome, bringing our service dogs for their daily and awaited outings. Recently, we have been asked to stop going if we were to bring our service dogs. We understand that companies have the right to refuse customers especially with dogs but service dogs I did not know could be turned away. It was very disappointing how we were asked and would never give them our business again. read more

This location is incredibly slow. It's such a bummer because I love a good Summer Moon coffee, but the last time I went through the drive thru with one car ahead of me if took 17 minutes!! On several occasions it has taken this long, if not longer for one coffee! Don't expect to be in and out of here quickly. read more

I moved a few blocks away from this shop and was very excited to have a drive thru high end coffee shop. After a few visits my joy turned to disdain and eventually complete boycott. They do something unique here - when you go through the drive thru no matter what you order; one bottle of water, a black drip coffee (in my case) the person who hands it to you asks you "would you like to add a tip today?" I have an issue on this at so many levels. Firstly should someone be given a tip for walking over to a pre-made pot of coffee and pouring it in a cup and handing it to you? Where does this end?? I am already paying $3+ for a black cup of coffee that probably cost $0.10 to make. By having the gall to authorize the employee to directly ask for a tip you are putting the customer in an extremely awkward position. In my opinion it goes against the reason tips where created. I understand that payment systems such as Toast curry favor with employees with the emphasis on get tipped for everything no matter what, but me personally as a customer I will just avoid your business. Enough is enough, tipping should be MY choice as opposed to your employees putting me in a forced awkward situation that feels like peer pressure or bullying. Putting a sign up that says "Add a tip to your order!" or something would be the correct way to handle this situation IMO. Employees should never beg for tips with every customer especially when they are doing something that is so simple and requires less then 5 seconds of their time... read more

This Summer Moon has such a nice inside, very clean, and inviting. Their merch is very cute and reasonably priced. I love their matcha moon. The moon milk really adds to every drink! You can adjust the sweetness of the moon milk too which is nice. read more

Been coming here for many years with my friend and his service dogs. The dogs have never caused a nuisance, and through the years have been treated kindly. However, there was an uncomfortable confrontation with the owner/management today that although after many years of coming and buying, and feeling comfortable, my friend and his service animals are no longer welcome (except for 'maybe' off peak hours). Although this person really tried to pull the management by non-confrontation tool out of the tool box, this was such an uncomfortable 'talking to'. Will not be returning here, unfortunately. read more

This is my third time to a Summer Moon location this week. Yesterday I was at the sister store and it was equally delicious. I love the finish-out of this store's interior. Previously it was a location for a Coffee Bean franchise, and Summer Moon really did a great job with the interior conversion of the space. Waited 40 mins in their drive thru. When I pulled up I was the 6th car in line and only wanted a 12oz Mocha Moon. I'm not sure if online orders and inside orders took priority but this was a weird experience. Even after getting to the intercom to order, the person in front also ordered 1 cup of coffee. 1/2 WINTER MOON LATTE ($5 FOR 16OZ)- this was actually delicious and refreshing! I could tell it tasted different than your typical latte. there was just enough ice so that you had plenty of drink left (i hate it when drinks are mostly ice). my friend got 1/4 winter moon and i could tell it was less sweet and a tad more bitter. still good, but i prefer the half winter moon, sweet and creamy. no issues parking since it's in a huge shopping center and lots of indoor seating (good for studying) read more

We LOVE Summer Moon, but this location just wasn't it. We ordered 2 of the frozen items and one of the hot. The espresso milkshake was just cold and no milkshake texture at all, did they over mix it? Idk there was literally no texture. Then the frozen hot chocolate was just giant ice chunks, did they even mix it? Then the one good thing about our visit was the mocha moon latte. Overall paid $18 for only one good item. Super disappointed with the visit and purchase. We will stay to all over the other Summer Moon locations around and avoid this one. I would give a one star, but we love Summer Moon in general to do that. read more

On a recent trip to Austin, my friend took me here for a coffee fix after our hike. There's a drive thru and lines were long which was understandable due to covid. The 2nd time we went inside and it was quicker. I needed a tutorial on their menu, regarding the differences between the Half moon latte, Summer moon latte (full version of the half moon), and blue moon latte (quarter version of the half moon but with lavender). All with their special sweetened moon milk recipe. The 16 oz has 2 shots of espresso, so I opted for that size of the iced blue moon latte. The lavender is very subtle and the level of sweetness was perfect. I loved it so much, i went back the next morning to ensure i had one more fix before going back to philly. Awesome spot. read more

I gave up coffee for a while (6 + months) had the nitro moon milk and fell back in love. Only reason this isn't a 5 is because 40% of the time their nitro machine is broken for days at a time which is frustrating. Regardless great place great coffee when they have what you want. read more

Coffee is good but not worth the 30 minute wait! I got in line for the take out window with 5 cars in front of me. It took about 5 minutes to move to the order area. They greeted me and said please wait...8 minutes later they finally took my order. Then I sat at the window for it another 20 minutes. No apologizes or thank you for patience. The usual...come in to grab a drip to go and there are just a couple people in line. Takes twenty plus minutes to get in and out of the store. The manager doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. Person working the counter is all by themselves, and helps others, while no other staff helps them. I love summer moon coffee. When I heard Circle C was getting a location, I (and apparently everyone else) was super excited. It has been very busy since it opened. However, in the last month or so the service has taken a nose dive. First, the phone app was updated. I had always used the 3rd party app they provided during the pandemic and it worked perfectly. Never had to wait in those long lines in the store or in drive thru. With the recent new Summer Moon app, the past 3 orders have been a disaster. Store either never got the order, even though I got an email confirmation, or was way over the estimated time... like 30 minutes late! I really hope this all gets resolved soon. Too many times I'm in the store and no customers at the counter, but a large amount of customers waiting for orders. read more

This is their only location that didn't seem to get the memo that there is a global pandemic going on. Come on Summermoon, your other locations have strict rules and they are enforced. While their coffee is good and their service is awesome, I received a taco with MOLD in it. I would've returned it if I had the time to go back to the store. After calling the store and notifying them (because some people won't be as nice as I will), the employee assured me they were stored at a correct temperature and cared for correctly. I've been to summer moon, specifically the circle c location 4-5 times which is basically everyday so far during my week stay here. I'm from Seattle aka the home of Starbucks/coffee and I wish summer moon was in Seattle. Their moon milk is to die for! I love my lattes but not the biggest fan of overly sweet coffee so the 1/8-1/4 summer moon latte is PERFECT FOR ME. The Circle C location is perfectly sized & clean. The staffs&location is practicing CDC guidelines of face mask&social distancing for guest/seating. I came here to study and I really like the amount of covid-friendly seating. The staff here were very eager&patient while explaining me their drinks when it was my first time here. They didn't mind to add more moon milk for me when I asked. Love the coffee and service but I can no longer support a business that treats its employees so poorly. I frequently see people forced to work outdoor in the drive-thru, Chick-Fil-A style. However, CFA takes care of their staff and provides shade and fans, and in cold weather provides gear to keep them warm. Summermoon just throws their people out there with zero regard for their health and safety. No shade, no fans, no gear whatsoever. I'm tired of feeling compelled to tip 50%+ when I see this just because I feel so bad for the person. Do better Summermoon! The moon milk is awesome, I'm not typically a sweet coffee person so I do the quarter or whisper and it's perfect! Drive thru is quick and the employees are super friendly! Stopped for the drive through and got a coffee. I will say the coffee was great. I was a bit turned off by the employee asking for a tip. Why would I tip on a drive through to go coffee? I am not dining in and being served by a waiter or bartender. Of course I felt pressured to tip and did. This just really left a sour taste in my mouth. The owner should pay their employees adequate wages so that they don't have to ask people for tips, how is that for a tip? Lol read more

Love summer moon and I was so happy when this location got added. Never been disappointed here with my go-to Moon Raker. Workers are always super friendly and I actually really love that they ask if I want to tip when I go drive-thru, what's a couple extra bucks for these great employees?
