Dr Samuelson fit me in last minute for a broken tooth. I'm usually scared of dentists but felt very relaxed in her chair because she was professional and clearly knew what she was doing but not pushy. Appreciated that before any treatments front office showed me what the cost breakdown was so I could decide whether to move forward or not. My entire family were patients of Dr. Bayless for a time. My wife found his "chairside manner" unpleasant. However, I was reluctant to change dentists as he was already familiar with my oral health history. Initially, admin staff was helpful and competent but then there was a change in front desk staff. I had an HSA at the time and a deadline was approaching for me to have all claims submitted as the end of the year was approaching. I called the HSA as I had several claims that had not been processed. The HSA informed me that the dentist office submitted the claims incorrectly 5 times. I then had a curt, yet polite conversation with the individual responsible for those claims to convey to her that if this matter was not handled properly and timely, I would lose my money. About a week from that conversation, I received a letter from Dr. Bayless informing me that I was no longer his patient. I was never afforded an opportunity to tell my side of the story. Office seems modern and clean enough. Staff seems friendly enough. I've had a couple visits there in the last year or so. The hygienist, Lynda, is outstanding. She's very friendly, very professional, and is very careful during her cleanings. Dr. Bayless seems friendly and competent. Seems trustworthy. My only concern is the office seems a little gimmicky when it comes to pushing products like the anti-snoring devices. Leave the sleep apnea stuff to the MDs, please. read more

The staff is sweet and on top of things. They needed to reschedule an appointment for me and called over two months in advance and were able to fit me into my requested time slot. The hygienist was super. Friendly, thorough, and not too rough. I don't know if this this is always the case or if they were low on time, etc., but Dr. Bayless did my exam BEFORE my cleaning so the hygienist was aware of any sensitive areas before she got started (adjusted water temperature and took extra care around the sensitive area). I have been going to Dr. Bayless for several years. His office is clean, professional and they have the BEST dental hygienists! Each time I get my teeth cleaned, I leave thinking "that was actually relaxing" The front office is kind and efficient and also good about squeezing you in for "emergencies" Today, I asked to squeeze my son in for tooth pain, but Dr. Bayless was out of town so I tried Dr. Samuelsen. She was also wonderful! She took so much time working with my son and asked him questions directly and was very gentle. Also, she is extremely knowledgeable and discussed in details the next step for treatment. I am now comfortable working with Dr. Samuelson too! She is definitely a strong addition to the practice. read more

HORRIBLE Dentistry! I first used Dr Samuelson. She did really shoddy work on my teeth. First was a filling that fell out a few months later just from flossing my teeth. Also was a root canal by her where she ground down the tooth to nothing and expected a crown to adhere to it. Dr Bayless glued the crown back in. I could tell he was disturbed by her shoddy work. He told me if it fell back off that he'd put a post in it for a new crown to hold on to. Of course it fell out, then he flaked and wouldn't fix it. HIS own filling chipped off the front of my tooth within 2 months! He told me it was due to grinding my teeth, which I've never done in my life. You can't grind off fillings from the FRONT of teeth. He refused to fix his shoddy work too! I had also gotten partials from this place and even those were bad and wouldn't fit right TWICE! EVERY SINGLE THING they've worked on my teeth has FAILED in less than a year. HORRIBLE!! Dr Bayless only made lame excuse after lame excuse. I have other fillings from my wonderful dentist in Houston that are over 10 years old and those fillings are just fine! Dr Bayless and Samuelson need to go back to school. UGH! HORRIBLE! read more

Are there SIX stars??? Seriously! My Husband's Story: He has tried everything to eliminate his SNORING and SLEEP APNEA!! He had the new innovative Pillar Procedure about 8 years ago--no luck! Tried the mouth pieces you can order from TV-no luck! Tried the strips- no luck! Tried the C-pap and couldn't sleep--so, no luck! Then took the plunge and had "the surgery" to fix it! After many complications he finally healed up then after about 8 months, he was snoring again! So again, no luck! And during the last 2 years, he has lost 20+ lbs! So to say we've tried EVERYTHING is an understatement! So I decided to schedule an appointment for my husband to see Dr Bayless to be evaluated for the Moses--the device for Sleep Apnea and Snoring! I first heard about it from one of Dr Bayless's flyers we saw in an MD's office in New Braunfels. We weren't giving up! When I called the office staff was so wonderful and accommodating to our schedule to get him in to see Dr Bayless before we were leaving town. He was evaluated and fitted for a custom device. Within 2 weeks the device was in and all he had to do was go into the office to have Dr. Bayless make sure all the fittings were correct and that it was perfect for his mouth. This is where my happiness begins!! That night, I slept through the entire night for the first time in a LONG time!! And stayed in the same bed all night long! And after having the device for over a month my husband's health and energy has improved because he is getting a good night's sleep for the first time that he can remember. I would be happy to talk to anyone considering this device! After years and a WHOLE LOT of money spent on failed attempts I'm so glad we found Dr. Bayless! read more
