When we tried to get a drink for my wife, it ended up costing us cold food because of the delay. The staff didn't really acknowledge the mistake or offer a good solution to order the drink without waiting in line again. I tried waiting once more but gave up after about 7 minutes (that part was on me). On a positive note, they had nice cold ice water that I ended up getting instead after I realized they weren't willing to start making the smoothie until I got through the line to order knowing I was looking at 7-10 more minutes.

It started as a great boba tea lounge with Japanese cheesecakes, but now it's more of a random pastry shop selling whatever the owner brings to the shop to sell. I miss the original vibe, but I kept coming back. Lately, though, the boba teas have been hit or miss, it really depends on who makes them. At this point, they're just not worth the price. What really bothered me today was seeing an automatic gratuity added to my receipt and the staff didn't mention it. The girl serving me didn't let me know about it, so I ended up leaving an extra tip on top of that without realizing. When I asked her about it, she said she didn't know when the policy started and that the automatic tip doesn't go to her, just the extra tip does. So either the owner is stealing from the staff, or she's is lying to get extra tips. Either way, it didn't seem right. I've stuck with this place through all its changes, but the lack of honesty and transparency is a deal-breaker for me. Sadly, I won't be coming back. I will definitely not come back for mediocre boba tea that comes with a 15% automatic gratuity.. SORRY!!
