    Iced Caffé Mocha
    Genesis T.

I went to Umbria Artisan Coffee Roasters to have my morning coffee. I tried their Iced Caffé Mocha. It was good. Fast and friendly service as well. The café have a chill vibes. Clean and spacious indoor dining area, and lots of outside tables at the patio. I went at 11:45 am and the place was full inside and outside. Overall, a good place to have coffee and brunch. Check it out!

Very popular spot for coffee and tasty it is. If you're a coffee lover, Caffé Umbria is a must-visit. Their signature blend organic coffee is rich and flavorful, plus the café uses a La Marzocco machine.....a rare and impressive touch! The interior of the cafe boasts a modern vibe with stylish décor, creating a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere. The outdoor patio is just as charming. The pastries are just as wonderful as the coffee too.

I've been coming here for a couple of years, but have recently been a daily convert after moving to the neighborhood. I wasn't quite sure the background of these guys, but learned that they are an experienced roaster based in the Pacific Northwest, who only has a handful of cafés. I find the quality of coffee here to be the best in Miami Beach. The hot drinks, the regular cold brew, and the nitro cold brew are all excellent. The barista and staff are always friendly and even though it's always busy, there is rarely more than a couple minutes wait to get your drink. You would literally have to be insane to use Starbucks over this place. As an added bonus, I recently purchased some bags of their whole beans in both their regular and decaf varieties as I have a nice coffee machine in my new home. They are really excellent.

Just when you thought all oat milk lattes are "meh" and seem to be diet-lattes, Umbria Coffee Roasters in South Beach prove you wrong. Could this really be dairy-free?? It tastes too good to be true, like a dessert in a cup. The Oat Honey Latte (iced) has my stamp of approval. Every coffee I've had here has been superb and the one I thought would be unlikable was actually quite fantastic. And here's how you know it's good stuff: actual Italian-speaking Italians are there getting coffee. Proof it's the real deal. I first discovered this gem of a coffee place in Seattle, which was beautiful with its old school classic architecture. We each bought 2-3 coffees--that's how good they all were. You can imagine my joy and delight to find there is one in SoBe. I'm so in love with their coffee I even buy the beans to so I can make my own between visits!

The best coffee shop on South Beach to have a Lavender Latte! If I want the Lavender Latte, I always go specifically to this cafe because I know that its flavor will be perfect! I usually drink it iced, but the hot version is very tasty too. The coffee they use for drinks is very flavorful. Also, this coffee shop has a nice tea selection. They can make them hot or iced, it's up to you. I personally ordered iced Earl Grey tea a few times, and it is definitely my favorite flavor. In addition, this place has a nice selection of pastries. I tried croissants a couple of times, and they were always fresh, soft, and tasty. The prices in this coffee shop are typical for South Beach; I would call them reasonable. For example, for a medium-sized Lavender Latte, I pay $6.80. The cafe is very nicely designed and always impeccably clean. It has a big indoor area, and also a large outdoor area with many tables and umbrellas. The staff who work at this place are sweet and friendly. They make orders pretty fast; I've never had to wait long. Plus, I've never had a situation where I didn't like my drink and had to ask a barista to remake it. I love the crowd at this coffee shop. A lot of nice, good-looking people come there to have drinks, hang out, or work. The atmosphere is always chilled and positive. Unfortunately, the cafe is kind of away from the beach. My only wish for its perfection would be an Ocean Drive/Collins Avenue location, which would be easily accessible from the beach. But I like the fact that the cafe is located in a quiet residential and peaceful corner of South Beach, and it is not very noisy there. I absolutely recommend this coffee shop if you're searching for one in South Beach. And do not forget to try the Lavender Latte!

Dogs allowed inside and definitely a local spot. My coconut caffe latte to go was tasty and there's free wifi in store customers were asking to use. I wasn't a fan of the Nutella croissant. There was almost no Nutella inside and hollowed. Service was slow with cash register person on check out. Two baristas working bar. Overall nice ambiance and tables to sit and eat at. Cute local spot for a first date or work from or catch up with friends.

Nice little cafe on the corner, great place to work remote with wifi. Got a chicken empanada and honey oat latte with oat milk! The line moves pretty quickly but it is a busy spot which I assume means that it is good! The staff is friendly as well! It's dog friendly too so lots of cute pups!

    The chirpy staff and pastries.

It's always a treat to come to this other south Beach favorite cafe of mine. The mocha coffee and pastries always hits the spot. The barristas and staff including the manager always go out of their way to be friendly with a chirpy smile. My two dogs love their free treat too. The pup cups. Yes, its dog friendly. I like the fresh happy interior too. For those remote workers who need a change of environment. There's enough space to set up a lap top and plug it in to charge.

The staff were great! One was training someone and they were both attentive and friendly. I had an affogato with hazelnut gelato and it was divine! Perfect on a hot day!! I also got some bagged, whole-bean coffee and it was really nice. Delicious medium-bodied roast perfect for my morning brew.

Umbria Coffee Roasters opened in April and has been a great cafe addition to West Avenue. I have been able to stop by several times this week and the service has been outstanding. From the friendliness of the staff at the register when you order to the barista handing you your coffee. My typical drink is the caffe latte and I know I would be getting a good cup when the barista takes a picture of my coffee. This week I also order a breakfast ham and cheese croissant and the lemon blueberry cake. Awesome quality and freshness. With the service, the high quality of coffees and food items, I highly recommend you give them a try. Enjoy the L shaped patio outside and the free guest WiFi. Stop by, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!

When I politely told the waitress (the young, light haired woman who's usually there) that I had ordered it iced, she shrugged, said "too bad," and walked away. Today, I was yelled at after I paid because I sat in the hotel area after my meal. It's a pattern and I feel bad for the owner who probably has no idea how this place is being run. I wish it could work out because I love the trees and I live nearby which is why I've given it multiple chances, but the bland food and horrible coffee are not worth being treated this poorly. It really makes people regret spending almost three times the price on food that they could get literally anywhere else in Miami. Seriously shame on you guys for being so disrespectful.

When standing at the counter none of the employees acknowledged me or came over until after three or four minutes and another group of a half dozen customers. I finally got a lackluster greeting and ordered a butter croissant and bottle of water. This cost over $13 that includes the MANDITORY 20% tip included in all restaurants. This is a huge issue in Miami Beach that a number of people voiced disappointment with this year's Seatrade. The service has gone into the toilet because the staff get tipped automatically at 20%, so they seem to care less to help. I never tip this much for counter service and would not have given any for this lack of service. The pastry was also not that good either and I wouldn't come back next year when we come back for the annual Seatrade.

They were so approachable, knowledgeable, and fun, that I wanted to support them, so I purchased some coffee. This was on a Thursday morning. The coffee was delivered across the country to my doorstep in Arizona on Saturday - I was super impressed! We made a pot of the Miami Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Blend this morning and it was fabulous. I typically put some steamed almond milk into my coffee but I drank it black (and several cups). It wasn't just me who enjoyed it either. It also passed the test of my judgemental, 43 year old Jewish husband's palate. He always takes his coffee black and this was no exception. I will definitely visit the Per'La coffee shop whenever I make my way back to Miami, but in the meantime, I'm sending love from Phoenix during these crazy times. My fiancé was already at the register ordering when I walked in to ask for our cortado in a proper Gibraltar glass (as we've always had it before at this establishment). The staff member heard me and blatantly ignored me, helping others instead. It was clear he didn't want to deal with the request. He even kept telling other customers (loud enough for me to hear) that everything was to-go only. Instead of addressing me, he eventually had his coworker step in to take my order. When I repeated my request, they both looked bothered and declined it stating that the OWNER told them to serve in to-go cups only due to the "event," despite no signs or anything indicating a change from any other busy weekend we've seen previously. The whole situation felt dismissive and poorly handled. What's even more frustrating is the complete disregard for both quality and environment. Any regular coffee drinker knows a cortado doesn't taste the same in a paper cup versus a proper Gibraltar glass--the ratio and experience are completely off. On top of that, serving everything in paper cups lined with plastic isn't exactly a healthy or environmentally conscious choice. It felt like pure convenience for the staff rather than any real reason. Really disappointing, and not a place we'll be recommending. If you are looking for a quality coffee and good service, look elsewhere.
