    Fresh pressed orange juice
    Stephanie M.

What a great addition to the neighborhood! Found this new gem on the way to the beach and decided to check it out, the girl at the register was pleasant and helpful. They have delicious fresh pressed orange juice, chia pudding and the wraps are folded (like the tiktok trend) where it looks like a crepe. I got the B.A.E (egg, avocado and cheese) OJ and latte. 10/10 + the music was great and they have patio seats with umbrellas!

A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

I came around 1 PM and the restaurant was really busy with locals and some tourists. The restaurant only has counter seating in the windows with barstool seating (no inside seating) so you have to wait until someone gets up and then you seat yourself. I waited about 2-3 minutes and found a seat (it's all pretty quick because people eat their sandwiches and come and go). When I was seated I was warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and he promptly took my order. I ordered the Bora Bora smoothie to start (around $7) and ordered the turkey and brie cheese sandwich (around $10). The smoothie was made quickly with fresh fruit and the sandwich is a huge portion and came up quick with fresh bread and all fresh produce, the sandwich was truly amazing! Make sure to use the vinagarette dressing on the counter, this is homemade and is so good! If you're near a La Sandwicherie location, definitely stop in!

Taste Cafe: Miami's Hidden Gem!…read more If you're looking for a top-tier breakfast in Miami that won't break the bank, Taste Cafe is a total standout. It's the perfect "grab-and-go" spot where the quality of the food far exceeds the affordable price point. The Highlights * Million Dollar Breakfast Biscuit: A must-order. The savory eggs paired with sweet jam on a flaky biscuit create an incredible flavor profile. *Egg & Cheese Croissant sandwich: Fresh, buttery, and perfectly executed--it's the ultimate morning comfort food. * The Cappuccino: Rich and smooth, it's the perfect pair for their breakfast sandwiches. What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. The owners are exceptionally kind, giving the cafe a warm, neighborhood vibe. Delicious smash burgers, and when I want something somewhat healthier but still super filling and satisfying I snag their chicken burrito, which is sweetened by maduros (sweet plantains). I stopped by for a latte this morning and it was fine - average. There's an add-on option to print a custom design on your latte, which could be a fun Instagram opportunity. Service and food prep is speedy. You can call your order in 10-15 mins ahead if you want to grab it and run, or you can place an order on the computerized menu when you get there or with the helpful staff. If you're dining in, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. No-frills and super casual, yet cozy, vibrant, welcoming, and a fun spot for a food break. That said, while there I usually see more take-out orders than dine-in. No need to worry about finding or paying for street parking since it has its own lot and designated spaces. This location also has a printer, with the option to print documents for a couple bucks.

I was in the neighborhood to get a badly needed haircut while visiting from the Bay Area for work and next door on the corner on an otherwise unassuming street is this solid legit Cuban sammie and coffee place. Locals galore sitting outside sipping strong Cuban coffee and eating Sammie's and empanadas. Who am I to argue with the locals. They definitely steered me right on this one. The Cubano was stuffed with moist roasted pork and ham with pickles and melted cheese. The spicy garlicky green sauce that comes with it could make an old shoe delicious ! The coffee was spot on and that roasted pork and plantain empanada also hit the proverbial spot. All in with tax and tip for $25 I was stuffed full and now remarkably fluent in Spanish ! Located a couple of blocks off a major road (Washington Ave.), Las Olas Cafe felt like a hole-in-the wall neighborhood joint - a team of off-duty police officers were enjoying their dinner inside the restaurant, and families were eagerly lined up at the to-go window outside the restaurant. As I waited in line to order, I perused the menu, which included breakfast items, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. Even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me in line, each meal was made-to-order before the next order was taken. This meant that the staff prepared about half a dozen coffees, a couple of smoothies, and several meals before it was my turn to order. When I finally placed my order for a Cubano sandwich, I waited about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. My sandwich was served piping hot, and I eagerly took my food to go so I could enjoy it at the beach nearby. Despite the wait (about an hour from the time I arrived at the cafe despite the short line), my food was delicious. The sandwich was stuffed with crispy shredded pork and ham, and a generous amount of mustard, melted cheese, and pickles pulled it all together.
