Such a cute little cafe. A little hidden, almost like tree house vibes. The staff was super nice & they can make a great coffee their menu is simple but very good

Very relaxing and chill place for your morning coffee! Highly recommended! Feels like a garden

This was the first time attending this outdoor resturant for jazz night. The location is right out side of the cadet hotel in miami Beach right by Lincoln road. The Cafe has a nice atmosphere with great decor. The menu is a bit small with only around 10 items. They have a great selection of cocktails and drinks. The vibe is more of a relaxing outdoor lounge where you can enjoy live jazz music while you sip in some drinks and have some finger foods.

Quaint, hidden away café not far from the bustling street Collins Ave. I especially love that you're surrounded by greenery, which is a perfect start to your day. I got a latte with almond milk and the homemade empanada. The latte was $7 which is a lot given the rather small size, but tasted fine. The empanada had a lot of flavor but was pretty burned on the bottom, perhaps from being reheated for too long. Otherwise, servers were friendly and it was a great place to have a relaxing start to my day.

Very cute decor in this coffee shop. Had a ham and cheese croissant and an iced latte. There was no other guests there so service was pretty quick. My latte was kinda meh so I probably wouldn't order it again. But I did enjoy my croissant. Overall decent place but nothing to write home about.

Beautiful environment, very laid back and calming. Lattes were about $12, so a little expensive but it was tasty and they tailored it to what I wanted. Waitress was very kind and helpful. Peaceful garden vibes.

Enchanted green walkway.

Having come to Miami Beach for the art deco, my friend and I quickly became disappointed in the lack of corresponding ambiance. Yes, there were beautiful buildings, but the local businesses seemed all but oblivious to their charm, to the opportunity to create a special atmosphere; so many places were so much the same - similar menus (Cuban, Latin, Italian), so much grating, loud, frenetic music blasting into the street, upon on the dining tables, making conversation, contemplation, relaxation utterly impossible. Maybe we are the only two people who don't appreciate that bombardment upon the senses (what are the odds?), but we walked miles in search of something, anything, different. It was by beautiful happenstance that we passed this inviting, enchanting path into a secret garden oasis. The greenery, the Paris cafe decor, the gentler sophisticated music, the gorgeous welcoming woman whose demeanor reflected the blend of peace and whimsy that infused the space - THIS is what we'd been seeking! Even better when our coffee was brought out in a darling deco pot, served with a couple of mini anise biscottis. Peering into the connected Cadet Hotel, we glimpsed a charmingly corresponding bar and lobby, dominated by Clark Gable memorabilia. Had we known of this place there's every likelihood it's where we'd have booked our stay. As it is, it was a treat to bring ourselves to Salon du Cafe as often as we could, for coffee, treats, and blessed respite from a loud, chaotic, seemingly single-minded city.

Relaxing for everyone, including very well behaved hounds

I almost don't want to write this review because I'd love to keep this perfect little oasis to myself, but it's the season of giving so here you go... Salon du Cafe is a something out of a dream - you enter down a path of palms, feeling as if you've stumbled upon a secret garden. Then Charlie greets you as if he just happened to be waiting for you to stop by. The seats are all comfy, the coffee is spectacular, and of course, there are coffee cocktails, which are my favorite! Breakfast is also a scrumptious bit of heaven prepared by Chef Bruno who was kind enough to come out and greet my dog and share his Argentinian sausage source. I can't say enough about the ambiance, the people, the drinks, and the food except that we'll be back again tomorrow for more. Don't miss this little bit of magic in South Beach!

The coffee is great. The food is so-so. The service is horrible. They have notes on each table letting people know that there is a 45 min limit on the tables. Well, we were there for 90 mins before our food arrived. The atmosphere is super cute and relaxing. I would go back to get coffee it not for breakfast.

Great coffee, great service

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious breakfast, and great coffee. It's tucked away like a little hidden cove. Really liked it.

Nice ambiance, conveniently tucked away for a quiet morning coffee. Pleasant staff and not too crowded.

It is a small, quaint, calming, well lit, romantic environment with live jazz, and WONDERFUL AND FRIENDLY service (which I might add is rarity in Miami).

This bakery is across the street from the Kimpton where I was staying and so it looked like a good option. I entered to no one in line and five employees causally working. When standing at the counter none of the employees acknowledged me or came over until after three or four minutes and another group of a half dozen customers. I finally got a lackluster greeting and ordered a butter croissant and bottle of water. This cost over $13 that includes the MANDITORY 20% tip included in all restaurants. This is a huge issue in Miami Beach that a number of people voiced disappointment with this year's Seatrade. The service has gone into the toilet because the staff get tipped automatically at 20%, so they seem to care less to help. I never tip this much for counter service and would not have given any for this lack of service. The pastry was also not that good either and I wouldn't come back next year when we come back for the annual Seatrade.

Churros w/ SG Chocolate & Dulce de Leche: What a treat! Thin churros fried fresh to order. They are the legit Spanish variety, not the thick cinnamon sugar Mexican derivative. Loved how airy and crispy they were. The thick chocolate sauce was perfect for dipping, clinging nicely to the churro and adding a rich coating. I also ordered an extra dulce de leche since I love that sweet jolt. Latte: Nicely executed, A good pairing to the churros.

I was introduced to Per'La when I happened upon the Instagram Live that co-founders Chris and Paul…read moredid with Yelp Miami recently... They were so approachable, knowledgeable, and fun, that I wanted to support them, so I purchased some coffee. This was on a Thursday morning. The coffee was delivered across the country to my doorstep in Arizona on Saturday - I was super impressed! We made a pot of the Miami Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Blend this morning and it was fabulous. I typically put some steamed almond milk into my coffee but I drank it black (and several cups). It wasn't just me who enjoyed it either. It also passed the test of my judgemental, 43 year old Jewish husband's palate. He always takes his coffee black and this was no exception. I will definitely visit the Per'La coffee shop whenever I make my way back to Miami, but in the meantime, I'm sending love from Phoenix during these crazy times. I know where to look if I ever have questions related to coffee as well! Thanks Team Per'La!

Two cups in the morning, and I was still watching episodes of The Office until 4am... so you know the stuff is good, and probably the most productive I've been in a long time. Since I don't live in Miami, I ordered some of their beans and had them shipped. I got the Lucha Blend in whole bean form and some of the Cold Brew Blend ground up for my summer enjoyment during the heatwaves. I liked them both for different reasons, but the the Lucha Blend was my favorite. It was a dark roast but didn't punch you in the face. It was super smooth and you could get the smoky notes of chocolate with every sip. Don't get me wrong, the cold brew stuff was good too, and again, a small glass will keep you buzzing for hours. I've heard so many great things about Per'La from friends, so I was super happy I was able to support this coffee shop from across the country during COVID-19. Not only was the ordering process super easy via their website, they offer free shipping, and even included a super cute hand-written note showing appreciation too. Huge plus. I ordered on a Thursday and I was drinking their delicious blends by the start of the work-week. I don't know if they're always this fast, but... it was fast. Until I can come in and support them in-person during a future trip to Miami, I know I'll be ordering more of their beans to hold me over until that happens!

We've been regulars here, but after our experience this afternoon (4/19), we won't be back…read more Service was terrible. My fiancé was already at the register ordering when I walked in to ask for our cortado in a proper Gibraltar glass (as we've always had it before at this establishment). The staff member heard me and blatantly ignored me, helping others instead. It was clear he didn't want to deal with the request. He even kept telling other customers (loud enough for me to hear) that everything was to-go only. Instead of addressing me, he eventually had his coworker step in to take my order. When I repeated my request, they both looked bothered and declined it stating that the OWNER told them to serve in to-go cups only due to the "event," despite no signs or anything indicating a change from any other busy weekend we've seen previously. The whole situation felt dismissive and poorly handled. What's even more frustrating is the complete disregard for both quality and environment. Any regular coffee drinker knows a cortado doesn't taste the same in a paper cup versus a proper Gibraltar glass--the ratio and experience are completely off. On top of that, serving everything in paper cups lined with plastic isn't exactly a healthy or environmentally conscious choice. It felt like pure convenience for the staff rather than any real reason. Really disappointing, and not a place we'll be recommending. If you are looking for a quality coffee and good service, look elsewhere.
