We pay for the seasonal service he offers which is great because he automatically treats your yard seasonally without you having to remember to reach out or worry about it. I love that he uses products that are safe for humans and animals! He has been a savior this year more than ever. The tics this season have been at an all time high and our dog kept bringing them into the house. Dave came within 24hours of us asking him to treat our yard for ticks. It has made a huge difference and has given us such peace of mind. Love and trust this company and highly recommend!

Of course living in woods also has other lovely benefits like mice, squirrels, bats, bees, etc. (he does not do bats or squirrels but identified what we had and provided recommendations DAVID was and always has been professional, thorough, prompt and guarantees his work! If I saw another ant or had a bees nest, he would come right away and take care of it - never charging extra to do so. He uses products that are safe for children, pets, and used in healthcare and daycare facilities. He is friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Hope he doesn't retire before I relocate!

Recently, we decided to sign a yealy contract with the company when we were having some mice and hornet/wasps issues. They return emails promptly and set up appointments quickly. And this is where the story takes a positive turn. Signed up online and received a text with a link of who was coming and what day. Included information of what was going to be performed and how much. On the day of the appointment, my daughter let the technician in and I immediately found him to be polite, professional, and naturally friendly to my dog. I was instantly put at ease. Having never had to use a pest service, I was concerned about who would be going through my house and this poor soul had to crawl and climb all over a completely turned upside-down house, on a hot July day. Every step of the way he was a bevy of information and empathy. I was quite comfortable having him move about my house without me, he earned my complete trust. He set some bait and traps and had immediate results the evening after the first visit. He returned 2 weeks later to clear the traps (3 kills!) and seal up the outside. And since Mass Bay completed their work, no mice! In terms of value, the price was in the 3 figures. What would you pay for peace of mind? Mass Bay's options and pricing seemed fair and I will consider setting up a yearly contract with them, again for that peace of mind. I also learned quite a bit about mice in general, which was a nice add. I like when people geek out about their work, it's a good sign of happy employees. Happy employees do excellent work. MassBay was truly excellent.

Terminix

DO NOT USE TERMINIX FOR ANYTHING!…read more If you don't want to be scammed by Terminix, I would read this: At the time of writing this review I've spent over 4 hours across 18 calls since May after Terminix in Webster,MA did a wildlife installation under our 3 season shed. There were 2 large holes under it and there was a strong odor of skunk on the inside. There were problems from the initial instillation in May. I signed an 18 month contract and did financing. There were at least 3 areas under one of the front doors and on the side (where tools are stored) that we thought should have been covered but the installers (and the sales person Donald) told us did not need to be covered. On top of that, the installers left their fast food trash trash and installation materials boxes on the street IN FRONT of our house [see Photos]: Uncovered areas [see Photos]: When I told Donald about this he NEVER apologized and said "If something is not done it usually because they must have feel it was ok not to do it." Well, he was wrong about that! On 6/10 a second instillation was done and there were still places left open under the shed and the installer said that the one-way door at the back of the shed that was supposed to let the critters out but not back in, would be removed after they checked to make sure there were no animals underneath. That never happened. After calls to customer services again, on 6/30 Todd Ryan (a manager at the Webster Terminix) finally called me back. I specifically asked the 1st installer not come back to the property because of the trash and the incomplete work. But on 7/3 I got an automate text alert saying he was heading back to the property. I called customer, reviewed the call with Todd and he was told not to come and that I would be contacted to reschedule and a different installer would be sent out. I made 3 more calls to try to get a supervisor or manager at the Webster location to call me back and confirm an appointment to remove the one-way-door. TWICE customer service reps. scheduled a set of 2 dates and times for them to confirm and NO ONE from Webster contacted me. 7/6 - I called customer care again -things had gotten worse - I had a photo of a groundhog sticking its head out of a fresh hole right in one of the areas 2 installers had left open. [See Photos]: Between 7/7 - 7/14 I made 3 calls to try and get answers from Webster and there was ANOTHER animal since. coming out of the same hole that was left open by the 2 installers, a fox [see Photo]: I was told many things by customer care including that a regional manager would be calling me to resolve the issue, that the Webster location was the only one that could handle the issue, that it couldn't be transferred to another branch. On 7/14 I talked to Todd in Webster again and a 3rd instillation was scheduled for 7/22. I spoke with customer care on 7/21 to review the work to be done the next day - to fill in ALL of the areas with no wire and complete the job. I was told by the customer service rep. animal control might need to be called to remove the animals. On 7/24 after calling customer care again, I got a voicemail from Nick (Store Manager in Webster) saying the installer wasn't going to be able to come out "due to a personal issue." I also got a notification for an appointment. I called back to find out what the appointment was for since he had already been out 2 days ago?????? I spoke to him on the phone and he said the last payments for the financing would be canceled and the Webster store "would be billed for the remainder" and the loan closed due to the instillations not working. He would talk to "the billing department" and I would receive notification of this via email by "early next week. THAT never happened. The next day 7/25- Jose (the 2nd installer) arrived. He told me he did not even have a shovel. He cut a small bit of wire, didn't dig a hole, used 2 blocks of wood (without asking to use them) and used sealant to cover the one whole and left the other areas open AGAIN. He also had no idea when the 2 week follow up would be scheduled or what the next steps were: I called Nick in Webster and left a voicemail on 8/5. Nothing. 8/18 - Called their finance company SMAC and they told me they had no record of anything Nick told me on 7/24. Once again I was told someone from the Webster location would call me back within 24/48 hours, the escalation had been put into place and there was no one else at the entire company who could close out the loan or handle the issues. No one called me back from the Webster location. No one at all called. 8/21 - I called SMAC again and they said they could see the request was made but they were waiting for the request from Webster to submit the form to cancel the loan but nothing was received. I called Terminix Customer Care and was told that Nick had notified customer care on Tuesday that we would have to pay out the remainder of the 18 month loan and they wouldn't cancel it!
