We stayed in Apt 5, as a couple, with occasional 3rd or 4th person staying with us on the couch. This is not a big apartment. But it is great to have a separate bedroom, with a lovely first floor balcony leading off it. The balcony looks out onto gardens behind, and is very peaceful, which was quite a surprise in busy Adams Morgan. All the rooms have natural light, because there is a gap in the middle of the building. All the rooms meaning the living room/kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The apartment is decorated as a home from home. And Steve the landlord does a great job making sure everything that you will need is available, cunningly stored away in cupboards. That includes a washing machine and dryer, iron and board etc. And with big grocery shops around the corner, as well as all the funky bars and restaurants of Adams Morgan, you really can just turn up with clothes and a toothbrush. The place is very clean and has a good security system (a code for the shared front door, and keys for the apartment). We stayed here for 2 months. It was such a great way to get to know DC. A real haven to come home to after exploring DC. Quiet neighbours. And Steve is incredibly helpful if you do have any issues. He'll provide advice, if you ask, and will fix even the smallest thing in the apartment pronto! We have been busy recommending Adams Morgan Suites to anyone we know who is coming to DC. You can certainly find a cheaper alternative if you are going to rent long term and bring in your own furnishings. But for shorter term, AM Suites is very comfortable, with everything supplied, in a great part of the city, and with a helpful and friendly landlord. Final thing: Steve provides a bit of paperwork outlining everything you need to know about staying at AMS, and some ground rules. I reviewed the rental contract carefully, but I'm sure I didnt need to. It's clear that Steve sees this as a long term business, values its good reputation, and is very straight with the money. We never had any issues, and we got our deposit back with no fuss. I know that some people rent an apartment at AMS via the internet, without seeing the apartment or meeting Steve. This is a real family business, and I would absolutely trust Steve with the rental agreement and the finances. Overall, highly recommended! read more

I found 1715 Euclid one night doing a web search before heading out to DC for an internship. I had searched and searched and found a lot of overpriced places in non-ideal neighborhoods or out in the suburbs. 1715 Euclid's website intrigued me so I sent a message to obtain more details. Steve, the owner, was nothing but professional from day one. From signing the lease over the internet to getting the keys and settling in to attending to any need I had to moving out Steve runs a topnotch operation. He even went and picked up my car down the street from an auto shop one day so my girlfriend and I could enjoy our visit downtown! The unit I stayed in (#5, top floor rear) had all the amenities you need. Satellite TV, wireless high-speed internet, dishwasher, microwave, beautifully appointed kitchen, back porch, and even a washer/dryer in unit! The neighborhood was great as well. You can walk 2 minutes to some of the most fun, lively, diverse set of bars/restaurants in DC. Adams Morgan is such a great neighborhood with so much to do. Plus I could ride my bike 15 minutes to the White House and National Mall or ride through Rock Creek Park (which I highly recommend for riding or jogging!). But even though you are close to EVERYTHING, the block itself is leafy and quiet. Especially in the back unit you hear no street noise. One negative is street parking. Parking was usually pretty easy, but at certain times it could be tough! I almost never had an issue. The parking is no worse than any other big city. So if you can live without a vehicle (I couldn't as my internship was in MD) you could as Adams Morgan is well connected with both the amazingly efficient DC Metro system or the buses. I fell in love with the DC Metro area and I have to believe that 1715 Euclid was a big part of that. I would move back to DC in a heartbeat and if I could pick one neighborhood it would be Adams Morgan. I recently had the pleasure of occupying one of the fully furnished apartments at Adams Morgan Suites (Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC). The experience of residing in the trendy apartment was relaxing, seeing as it was ever so convenient not having to worry about furnishing the space. Not only was it furnished, Steve has mastered the art of very tastefully decorating. The apartment had its own little luxuries for me other than just the comfortable furniture. It seemed as if anything I imagined not having was found within the unit just by opening the right drawer or cabinet door. When they advertise, 'everything is provided' I mean it's all there! Not did I find the wine bottle opener, but even a blow dryer was in the bathroom. The neighbor is noted for its hot night life and I had time to checkout some of the area's exhilarating live music venues (Madams Organ and Bossa), not to mention some really fantastic restaurants---all within a short 1.5 block distance from the property. When I wanted to cook a meal in the unit, grocery stores (Harris Teeter and Safeway are only a block away) and with a dry cleaners directly across the street, the element of convenience is grossly understated. I am hoping to return to DC again for business in the future, and when that time comes, I'll be sure to check availability at Adams Morgan Suites. While I do believe that handing out 5-stars ratings has the tendency to hyper-inflate or dilute the rating system, there are times when a 5-star rating is absolutely warranted and Adams Morgan Suites most certainly deserves this accolade--Great job, Steve! read more

Looking for a tastefully fully furnished sublet in a classy and effervescent DC neighborhood? Look no further. Adams Morgan Suites is your best option without a doubt. I was just beginning my summer internship at a government agency in DC as a law student and needed a sublease for a few months. Unfortunately, COVID 19 had left me in a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the length of the remote status of my internship and the agency itself was unsure of the reopening status. I informed Steve there would be a possibility I may need to leave earlier than expected if the remote status continued and much to my surprise he reassured me the lease was flexible with any cancellations due to the pandemic. He worked with me on this issue to ensure safety, flexibility, and was incredibly communicative. The entire week I stayed, I noticed my room was beautifully decorated with lovely art from artists around the world, gorgeous furniture, and a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. My apartment was clean and safe, equipped with a security feature. I had my own kitchen, office, and comfortable home. During a new normal in a new town with a new job, who could ask for more? Adams Morgan Suites is also located right by two grocery stores and Meridian Park which provided a nice outdoor relief from remote work. The neighborhood is diverse as it is charming. Steve was kind, helpful, flexible during unforeseen circumstances leading to an early move-out, and so gracious. I cannot recommend a better landlord during a global health crisis or a more beautiful home to live in, even if it was only for a little while! read more

If there were a rating for above five stars, Adams Morgan Suites would receive that accolade from me!! Everything advertised in their website (pics, location, description) was true to form. I taking a video tour of the available apartment I was sold. After filing the rental application I had a lease and associated documents in my email account in less than 24 hours. the process was quick and painless. I coordinated my arrival with Steve and he met me as planned. He gave me a tour of the apartment and describe the convenience of the location. I must say that Steve is overly accommodating. I say this because on at least two occasions I was expecting overnight mail and he received them on my behalf. I travel for a living and I consider myself a connoisseur of the furnished/corporate apartment. I have never been in a furnished housing complex that offered the same degree of cleanliness that my wife would attend to detail... There were multiple sets of high-quality, high count cotton linens and designer towels. There was a washer and dryer in the apartment which meant less trips to the dry cleaners. Flatscreen HDTV, surroundsound home theater and super fast and secured Wi-Fi was just icing on the cake. I wish my 2 1/2 month stay never ended. of the amenities of a in law suite without the inlaws!! Ha! I'm talking dinnerware, wine bottle openers, recessed LED light perfect for entertaining... Adam's Morgan suites was more than accommodating. The atmosphere was comforting and inviting. I will def stay here again..Soon read more

You're a fool if you turn down an open unit at Adams Morgan Suites! I spent three fantastic months in Washington for an internship and could not have made a better decision than signing a lease at Adams Morgan Suites. From my first email inquiry, Steve was quick to respond in a professional and accommodating manner, which has been the case with all our interactions. I was on a tight deadline to secure housing before moving to the city from out of state and Steve went out of his way to answer all of my questions about the apartment and neighborhood, and made me feel confident enough to sign a lease without even stepping foot in the building. I can offer no criticisms about the property, property management, or surrounding area. The building is attractive and clean, and sits on a great block within walking distance to anything and everything you need - metrorail, brand new Harris Teeter, great restaurants/bars, banks/atm, gym, dry cleaners, Starbucks - you name it, you can find it near Adams Morgan Suites. While it's important to be cautious anywhere in DC, I always felt safe in this area and never had any issues with noise, solicitors, etc. If I ever needed anything or had any questions, Steve was a reliable and knowledgeable resource, and he never steered me wrong. Bottom line: if you have a chance to sign a lease with Adams Morgan Suites, do so immediately before someone else steals the opportunity to live in this fabulous building!!! read more

I rented Apt. 3 for 3 weeks, a small 1 bd. facing the back of the building. The apartment was completely furnished, including washer and dryer, all needed appliances in the kitchen, iron, ironing table, TV, Internet, everything. Since the apartment is small, everything was tidily compact, every inch utilized, but again, everything was there. PROS -Location: you have EVERYTHING you need in a 3-block radio (groceries, dry cleaners, bars, restaurants, transportation, pharmacy, etc.). -Property Manager: Steve is always there, very helpful, very organized, worries about the smallest detail, you can count on him, no hidden fees, no hidden conditions, straightforward. CON -Apt. 3 is probably the darkest apartment of the building, almost no natural light gets in the living/room kitchen. That wasn't an issue for me because I didn't spend time in the apartment during daytime, which is probably what would happen to other renters. Overall, apt. 3 is small and dark (and just because of that I don't give it 5 stars, otherwise it would be a 5) but perfectly fit for a temporary residence in DC. You're in one of the best locations to enjoy DC's NW district and the property manager makes you feel like you are visiting a friend and not renting a place. read more

Adams Morgan Suites was a great place for my recent 5-month work detail in DC. I loved the Adams-Morgan neighborhood for the diversity of its residents and for the tree-lined streets with people moving day and night. The A M Suites' apartments are spotless, well-furnished and remarkably quiet for city living. When I first arrived, I lived in a first-floor studio excellent for one person but pretty cramped when my wife visited. Then I moved upstairs into a 1-bedroom place that had more space than I needed. It was big enough when my wife joined me in DC for the last month. Everything in the apartments works well, and if there's ever a problem (like figuring out how to use the cable or internet) Steve is happy to explain. He's a good, honest and thorough landlord who lives in one of the apartments himself and has been running the place very professionally for many years. He'll also give you the rundown on life in the neighborhood and which of the restaurants on nearby 18th St and Columbia Road are worth visiting. By the way, the neighborhood has several really good restaurants from the bargain category through the mid-range, with prices that seemed lower than the DC average. read more

My experience with Adams Morgan Suites was great! I was a student intern in town for just the summer. I stayed for about 10 weeks. Everything was clean and the building was secure. The owner was wiling to set up everything online for me and I signed a lease site unseen, but couldn't have been happier. The apartment was very well furnished and very nicely decorated. I had enough room for friends to stay over on the pull out couch and a cute little balcony to sit on in the back. He was so helpful with things that needed to be updated or taken care of during my stay. Any issues were quickly addressed and he was always very helpful. The apartment was stocked well but also had plenty of dishes in the kitchen to cook for my entire stay. Linens were provided and the washer and dryer were very convenient to use as they were right in the apartment. The neighborhood is full of families and other young people and is very close to some of the best nightlife areas in DC. I loved living so close to the zoo and was within walking/running distance from the park for my daily runs. Two grocery stores, dry cleaners, and tons of restaurants were within just a few blocks. read more

My Wife and I (and newborn baby girl) stayed with Adams Morgan Suites between April and July 2012. I'd only visited DC once before on a short trip, and as we were relocating from Europe with a new baby in tow, we were a little anxious to find the right place. Our Euclid Street apartment was simply ... perfect! The apartment had everything: a clean, well-decorated, and modern setting; a lively neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and bars all within a 3 minute walk; and easy access to DC Metro and Bus routes. There were several nearby parks for our girl to crawl around in and local swimming pools to cool off at. The DC Zoo is also 10 minutes away. There are two great grocery stores to pick from. And the neighbors were super friendly. We met some great people by just hanging out on the stoop. And dealing with Steve, both from Europe over email and in person, was simply a pleasure. He takes his business seriously and wants his tenants to enjoy a safe, relaxing, and memorable stay in DC. If you're moving to DC for a short-term stay, give Adams Morgan Suites a call. The price is right; the quality superb. We'd stay with Steve again in a heartbeat. read more

I stayed at Adams Morgan Suites for just under three months, and have nothing but great things to say. Steve was great from the moment I first contacted him- he remained in contact with me regularly, making sure all was well. I had no issues with the property at all. The apartment was well decorated and extremely comfortable to live in, I love the artwork! As a single female, I always felt safe in the area and never had any problems. It felt like home (although probably better decorated than my actual home). Located about a block from 18th, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. For longer treks, Adams Morgan Suites is between the Columbia Heights and Adams Morgan (Woodley Park) metro stations, they're both just a several minute walk. I worked down on M street at the time and had no trouble taking the metro every day. Safeway, CVS, and Harris Teeter are all about a block away (from what I recall, CVS and Safeway are about a block north and Harris Teeter about a block southeast). The location was great and a ton of fun. read more

I had an excellent experience at AdamsMorgan Suites. The location cannot be beat. Adams Morgan is one of DC's most vibrant neighborhoods. You won't need a car, with easy access to the Metro and anything you want to eat, drink, or buy. Rock Creek Park and the National Zoo are within walking distance. Several of DC's other cool neighborhoods are accessible by foot or bike, from tony Woodley Park across the Duke Ellington Bridge, to eclectic Mount Pleasant and Columbia Heights, as well as Dupont Circle. I rented the first floor one-bedroom with a deck. It was very well appointed with comfortable, classic furnishings and interesting artwork. Very charming--a far cry from the "air apace" more typical of short term rentals. The building itself is a historic row house on a tree-lined street. The photos on the website are accurate. Steve the landlord is friendly and responsive. He clearly takes pride in his property and his business. I had no maintenance issues or anything of the sort during my three-month stay. I stayed at Adams Morgan Suites for two months, and I agree with the first rater -- Steve does his level best to accommodate you, he is completely reasonable, and the space is well furnished and in a great location. The price is fair, too, given the very short lease term. Steve is friendly but always professional, and he responds very quickly to any requests. I'd certainly stay there again. I also agree with the parking issue -- it can be tough to find, but it is there. The other thing I would note is that it is a little far from either the Columbia Heights Metro station or the Woodley/Adams Morgan station. But there are many buses that come by (and I had my car), so it was never a problem. I found this place after dealing with unhelpful websites and people who managed many sites so did not know the property well. As I was coming from overseas, it meant the world to know Steve lived on the premises. read more

Prior to moving to the area, I'd take short trips to DC from NYC and would never dream of staying anywhere else. What really stands out in my mind about the suite I stayed in was the amount of space I had and the lovely artwork! The kitchen is perfect for preparing a big dinner and I could easily entertain several guests comfortably. The bedroom has a nice balcony and the neighborhood is quiet enough to read a book and relax some evenings. The neighborhood is also excellent for restaurants, bars, and shopping. There is even a farmer's market just a block away on the weekends. Steve was friendly, flexible, and always helpful if there was anything I needed - from public trans information to recommending a good French bistro. It must be noted that there were few things I did need, as everything was available to me in the suite, and I was able to fit right in as if it were my own home. read more

I agree with the other two reviews. The apartments are in good shape and in a great location. The real advantage is Steve. He's extremely easy to work with and 100% reliable. He made moving in, staying and moving out extremely easy. It also meant I had nothing to distract me while I was looking for more-permanent lodging. This is a huge advantage -- especially when you're moving to a city for the first time. Steve makes everything hassle free. The area is well serviced by buses that can get you all across the city. Metros are not too far by foot (10-15 minutes to Columbia Heights). Plus, you're in walking distance to Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, and Mount Pleasant. All are great neighborhoods with lots to offer. This is a great place to stay. I highly recommend it. read more

My experience as a tenant with Adams Morgan Suites is easily the most pleasant I have ever had. The amenities were great, the premises were spotless, and the location was ideal. I have yet to find a better bang for my buck---not just in DC, but anywhere. Not to mention, Steve, the owner, was an exemplar of flexibility, kindness, and decency. I felt at home from the first day I moved in. I had only intended to live at AMS for one month, but in light of my phenomenal experience, I could not help but stay longer. Great place for a short stay - neighbourhood has character and Steve was a good landlord for my short stay. Extremely efficient and fair. It's not cheap if you're staying for a while, but the peace of mind of knowing there wouldn't be any 'unexpected' charges added, and knowing that someone is in the building if you have any problems, is worth the cost. Plus, its much cheaper than a hotel. I had to extend my stay unexpectedly, and Steve did his best to accomodate me. Woud definitely recommend the place to anyone. read more

Fantastic location! We were in walking distance to some fantastic restaurants and all of the crazy nightlife that Adams Morgan is famous for. The living accommodations were great! These guys advertise 'just bring your toothbrush' and it's true! Everything was provided in the apartment from wine glasses to an ironing board. No complaints here!
