The crew here is amazing and my esthetician was super sweet! The rooms are always pristine! The sugaring is so much better for my skin than waxing and I have extremely sensitive skin. This review is only for a trainee waxing session. It was my first time booking with a trainee and I made the mistake of not realizing I had booked at Dana Point and not the Newport Beach location. Cancelled when I had found it was all the way down in south county but I had paid $5 and didn't want to lose it so emailed (calling is better since I didn't get response back via email) and then called to see if I could either get my money back (you can't) or just head down. So made the trek down a late weekday evening (one of the pluses of this company they have late evening sessions). Luckily, I had asked in advance the parking situation (since the NB one sucks big time) and their manager gave me good directions since one could easily pass it, since they are located on the second floor and signage isn't the best especially during the evening. I didn't realize there's ramp to the second floor and parked on the first floor. Better and safer to park on the second especially in the evening. Restrooms like the NB spit are not located in S&B but are shared with the rest of the building. My trainee was friendly and thorough but since she was a trainee she took much longer meaning it will be much more painful, as if normal waxing is a walk in the park. Definitely one of my most painful Brazilian sessions I couldn't wait for it to end. But my trainee was friendly. If your pain threshold isn't good, a trainee may not be a good option for you. I was sweating so bad when she was done. $5 and of course plus tip is a hard bargain to beat but perhaps take some pain relief or numbing meds beforehand. read more

LOVE my tan!!! I felt comfortable the minute I walked in. I went with the express tan being that I'm breastfeeding and I was able to wash it off 3 hours after my spray. My husband and I are heading to Palm Springs for the week so I thought a nice tan would help me look 10 pounds lighter Again just had a baby so I needed a little boost in confidence being that I will be by the pool all week. I've been in for sugaring 4 sessions the last couple months. 1 out of the 4 sugars was good, the other 3 were mediocre / not good. After the most recent sugar, I had to return 4 days later to get it redone. There was hair left and torn, not pulled fully from the root so it grew back immediately. Thankfully she fixed it for free. She also tried tweezing, which only resulted in a lot of ingrown hairs for me. Yikes. Not very impressed with this place. For $49 it should be much better. Also there's visible mold growth and wood rot in the crown molding/ ceiling of the sugaring room. I leave feeling sneezy and wheezy. Will be finding a new place. read more
