Not surprisingly, these cupcakes disappeared at the earliest opportunity... :-) For me though, the cherry almond slice was hard to resist. So shiny. So gooey. Such a crisp base...... *drool*.... this is what I wanted. The only shame was that I could not have an awesome cup of coffee with it... So bonus points for opening this early to cater to workers and people dealing with jet lag. We had muesli, French toast, big pan bf and warm flaky croissant. Every one was presented to us not only nicely but they also tasted great. Muesli was homemade, crunchy, well toasted with a good mix of nuts and dried fruit. The accompanying fresh fruit was of generous proportion too. French toast was made with their own baguette with sides of banana and syrup. Big bf was huge with eggs, 2 sausages, greens, mushrooms, bacon and a side of baguette. Croissant was fresh out of the oven and something to die for! We had 2 skim lattes which were average as it wasn't hot enough for our taste. I would return again and again but the breakfast did cost quite a bit so it will be for special weekends or a treat.
