First time to visit to the parramatta store and the franchise in general. For the life of me I couldn't get out to their other stores. Good thing they opened up near my Uni. The store is located in Church St right near the train station. So within walking distaNce to Westfields. You order and pay at the counter, they take your name and call out when it is ready. I got a cappachino and a Walnut and carrot cake. Coffee is good and the cake was a good companion. Sponge like texture with a cream filling and not an overload of walnuts. If you came for lunch some of the options include: pies, sausage rolls, quiches, pizza, toasties,' sandwiches and a soup of the day. Good visit!

Almond praline croissant-under all that sugar

If you are staying or working in Parramatta, this is a great little coffee shop to grab a cuppa, a pastry or a toasty. English breakfast tea just the way I like it- strong with skim. Walnut carrot cake slice is moist and not overly sweet- with the cream cheese as a going between layers rather than coating the exterior. Almond praline croissant had plentiful almonds, but less almond flavor than most. Feta and spinach quiche was freshly made with a delightful flaky crust and served at the perfect temperature. All in all, a quick stop for takeaway and a nice spot to enjoy inside or outside next to the fountain.

Oh...a teabag....like going to a cafe and getting instant coffee

Have to say I'm pretty underwhelmed with this place. I am disgusted any time I go into a cafe to order tea and they bring out a pot with a teabag hanging out the side. Not even a pyramid teabag; just a cheap crushed tea leaves teabag. Especially if they're charging $4 for it and it takes ten minutes to "make". We also ordered a tomato and cheese croissant plus a quiche. The quiche was quite nice but the croissant was burnt and dry. Doubt I'll be back.

Good atmosphere. Ample seating, fast service and friendly staff. Coffee and food here were perfect remedies for a cold Autumn day.

When I lived in the inner west it was my weekend ritual to eat at Bourke Street bakery. The coffee is always good and so are the juices and chocolate milks. The food is simple and tasty. Try the roast pork pickled red cabbage, cheese on sourdough... So freaking tasty!!!So many varieties to try! All the staff here are very polite and friendly!definitely check this bakery out!

Ginger Creme Brûlée

Definitely a twist on the ordinary Creme brulee, adding ginger works a treat! It wasn't too sweet in a way that makes you feel sick after. Tasty. Simple. Cute. Felt content after eating it. The staff are friendly! They also sell breads, other cakes and pastries, tea and coffee.. Something for everybody!

I remember when this place used to be a bank. Little has changed in the layout but now the currency…read moreis Lebanese sweets. You can buy Abla sweets in many places but I just love this place. Where the bank clerks used to sit are huge plates of baklava or nougat or monster Easter eggs due to the season. They also sell gelato and cakes. If you want to have a coffee there is space for that too.

This place is Middle Eastern dessert heaven. The only thing I could recognise was the baklava so it…read morewas a bit overwhelming when I first went here, wanting to get one of everything without really knowing what they were. And also as a newbie, I had no idea how the ordering system works, but I got by when I said to the lady at the counter, "Can I get five pieces of...." walked to wherever it was and pointed to what I wanted. On my second visit, I discovered that you need to specify which plate size to get and then you can point and pick what you want. The big plates seem to be good value for parties or events. There's hardly any labels at their displays so it's hard to know what exactly it is that you're getting if you're not familiar with what they are. I think we've tried the sfoof and one flavour of their baklava, which are now both my favourites. They are pretty sweet and can get a bit sickening if you eat too much at one go, but delicious nonetheless, and great to get the garlic smell off your breath after a meal at nearby El Jannah. There are some tables and chairs for eating in, I reckon it would be good to get a group of friends together and get one of everything to get a sampler of what they have.
