The only problem I had now was deciding what to get. They boys settled on a cupcake each, and at $2 each, I was surprised how cheap they were. Not surprisingly, these cupcakes disappeared at the earliest opportunity... :-) For me though, the cherry almond slice was hard to resist. So shiny. So gooey. Such a crisp base...... *drool*.... this is what I wanted. The only shame was that I could not have an awesome cup of coffee with it... Still, if you are after a sugar fix and are in Gordon, this is a great option.

I love pretzels (and they make a couple of styles) and most of the ones I see at the mall are either hard and dried, out or greasy and buttery. These pretzels on the other hand were fresh and baked with just enough sea salt to give it a little bit of flavor. This also seems to be the local spot for coffee. In the back they sold a number of German goodies, which added to the authenticity of the place.
