This one has a bland commercial flavour to it. I would still put it above Vittoria, but when compared to Vella Nero, Klink, or Air Coffee, there simply is no comparison. I hate to be too picky but... a big breaky with only 1 rasher of bacon, a hash brown soaked in oil, and what can only be described as a cheap Coles like sausage is not Ao impressive. The eggs were well cooked and the mushrooms were generous, but I don't think I shall order this from here again. I've been away for more than six months and this cafe's improvements have really elevated the Gordon St. John Ave precinct. We came here bright and early at 6am for breakfast. So bonus points for opening this early to cater to workers and people dealing with jet lag. We had muesli, French toast, big pan bf and warm flaky croissant. Every one was presented to us not only nicely but they also tasted great. Muesli was homemade, crunchy, well toasted with a good mix of nuts and dried fruit. The accompanying fresh fruit was of generous proportion too. French toast was made with their own baguette with sides of banana and syrup. Big bf was huge with eggs, 2 sausages, greens, mushrooms, bacon and a side of baguette. Croissant was fresh out of the oven and something to die for! We had 2 skim lattes which were average as it wasn't hot enough for our taste. I would return again and again but the breakfast did cost quite a bit so it will be for special weekends or a treat.
