The location is pretty good too. Plenty of sun out front and enough street action to watch and not enough to deafen. It is on quite a slope though. This means that one has to drink down one's coffee before it can safely be left on the saucer. The outdoor furniture, while characterful, is spectacularly uncomfortable and it is this, rather than anything else, that stops me giving it a fifth star. Running a cafe is no easy quip but this place could be so much more if they refined a few areas. Start with making sure supply meets demand on a Saturday for the delicious baguettes. They should train their staff in attention to detail, and put more than one person on the till on a Saturday morning. I'm still a fan of the coffee and the aesthetic of the place but I certainly won't keep going back if these things continue.

Every one was presented to us not only nicely but they also tasted great. Muesli was homemade, crunchy, well toasted with a good mix of nuts and dried fruit. The accompanying fresh fruit was of generous proportion too. French toast was made with their own baguette with sides of banana and syrup. Big bf was huge with eggs, 2 sausages, greens, mushrooms, bacon and a side of baguette. Croissant was fresh out of the oven and something to die for! We had 2 skim lattes which were average as it wasn't hot enough for our taste. I would return again and again but the breakfast did cost quite a bit so it will be for special weekends or a treat.

I am not a fan all of that coffee bean. Especially as Three Beans is down stairs. But other than their choice of coffee beans, this cafe is awesome. Great food and great little desserts. And to top it all off the staff are extremely friendly. Just a warning, it is extremely crowded and so you might have to get take away or wait for a table.
