I am not a fan all of that coffee bean. Especially as Three Beans is down stairs. But other than their choice of coffee beans, this cafe is awesome. Great food and great little desserts. And to top it all off the staff are extremely friendly. Just a warning, it is extremely crowded and so you might have to get take away or wait for a table.

Crunchy grains and seeds, yoghurt, honey and fresh fruit ........and a fun little cocktail umbrella! Tooooo cute! Made me smile!!! The service here always impresses me. A warm smile goes a long way plus I enjoy the decor here. It's not what you expect from a cafe in St Ives Shopping Village! The coffee is outstanding and I just knocked over the best bacon and egg toastie I have had today. Actually it probably beats every B&E toastie I've had all week, hell, all year. Located right next to Turramurra's train station, ideal place to meet friends. Perfect to chill out. Delicious food and amazing coffee. Staff is very polite and helpful. I've been away for more than six months and this cafe's improvements have really elevated the Gordon St. John Ave precinct. We came here bright and early at 6am for breakfast. So bonus points for opening this early to cater to workers and people dealing with jet lag. We had muesli, French toast, big pan bf and warm flaky croissant. Every one was presented to us not only nicely but they also tasted great. Muesli was homemade, crunchy, well toasted with a good mix of nuts and dried fruit. The accompanying fresh fruit was of generous proportion too. French toast was made with their own baguette with sides of banana and syrup. Big bf was huge with eggs, 2 sausages, greens, mushrooms, bacon and a side of baguette. Croissant was fresh out of the oven and something to die for! We had 2 skim lattes which were average as it wasn't hot enough for our taste. I would return again and again but the breakfast did cost quite a bit so it will be for special weekends or a treat.

When we ask where our eggs Benedict'' are we are told they are coming, then we watch another eggs Benedict go to same table - yours is coming then yep another eggs Benedict goes to same table (3 orders) and I'm still waiting as my partners eggs are now cold, Finally my breakfast arrives the poor wait staff try to apologise and we ask to speak to the manager - twice - he never came over. So when we leave we give the Manager the feedback and all he can do is nod his head. The food wasn't bad but won't be back there in this lifetime - shame because it's so close. They serve Campos coffee which isn't bad but we will go to anywhere else but here again.

Friendly and relaxed staff pump out coffees to the commuters and then keep the coffee flowing throughout the day. The service was fast and the coffee was delicious - they didn't bat an eye at strange orders such as quarter strength skim lattes and made a great soy fw. There were a few treats to try including the in vogue cruffin which was a sweet treat to help us through our afternoon. Well worth dropping in to grab a takeaway if you are traveling through the Hornsby train station.

"Shop" is a stretch - it's really more of a hole in the wall takeaway only kind of space, lovingly kitted out in tiles, timber, blackboards and big Edison bulbs. The sort of aesthetic that gives you hope. It doesn't disappoint. They make a damn fine coffee here, with good customer service to boot. None of that awful aloofness that typifies so many hipster-esque joints. They sell beautiful muffins and even Bircher muesli, but they do sell out. Hey, it's not like there's space for much stock, and coffee is certainly the priority. Will certainly go out of my way to get a coffee here in future, whenever I'm around Hornsby.
