It's warm, inviting and too easy to spend a lazy afternoon here. There's an all-day breakfast menu with all the usual suspects and some stand outs like the lamb bruschetta. I was lucky enough to sample this from one of our lunch party and would definitely order should I return. On this occasion, I ordered the lamb kofta special with natural yogurt, quinoa and coriander. It was a suitably filling and soul hugging meal of comfort and everything was balanced to perfection. The coffee was strong and easily drinkable. There's a range of gluten free cakes should you not be feeling like lunch and most of the menu items can be made gluten free. Walking in, a barista takes your order for takeaway and has you standing behind them as they make your order. There is plenty of seating inside, but those are reserved for those dining in. They have their roastery in the back, with large windows separating from the cafe. We had visited twice here and each time was a great experience. I had the opportunity to try both their Ethiopian and their Guatemalan long blacks, and the tasting notes do stand out. They have a variety of coffee beans you can purchase, along with a more limited selection of teas. Toby's Estate is a must try for all coffee aficionados in the area.

Flavouring was slightly sweet but not unpleasant in a savoury dish. I asked for no butter on the toast, but apparently it was really nice, almost as if it had cheese on it. Baked eggs with baked beans was delicious as well. And both at $15 and $15.50 - you'll notice the other dishes have attractive pricing also. Coffee was great! Strong and slightly bitter, so if that's up your alley you'll love this. They also now have matcha lattes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not overly sweet and comes in a huge mug. There are some differences though. Now the bread is a Turkish roll and now unfortunately the zippy lime aioli of the past was gone. This version was delicious and the right price but wasn't incredibly different to anyone else's BLAT but for the price it's def a 4/5 experience. I also noted they make a Reuben which I'm looking at giving a go.
