The best Belgium chocolate mocha I've ever had. Possibly the best mocha I've ever had 10/10

Review Highlights - Barefoot Coffee Traders

They do Toby's Estate, which is decent enough coffee for most, though I know a few high-end snobs who turn up their noses at it.

I went with the classic açaí bowl, which was so refreshing. They had run out of one type of berry, and added extra strawberries instead, which I was delighted about as I love strawberries. My sister had a mint coconut bowl, and she loved it as well; and was also surprised by how filling they were! I tried hers as well and the flavors really shined through- very balanced, not overly sweet, and it was real mint, not cheap mint flavoring. Which we had one of these guys here in California

Upon my return visit now Manly is flush with acai bowls and standalone acai bowl places. Bare Naked and Acai Brothers (newly opened) co-exist within 100m of each other. I had seen Bare Naked's beautiful bowls on Instagram and friends' feeds for a while and had been dying to try. Well - they did not disappoint. I came here last Sunday with one of my good friends. It was pretty busy and they had a only a few seats out the front. We managed to snake one end of a four person table and I went to order. My friend got the Naked Bowl and I got the Hippie Bowl. It took as quite a while to decide because the menu is rife with options. There were 8-10 acai bowls, smoothie bowls and more. Plus coffee and kombucha on tap (yassss). The girl at the counter told us it would be about a 15-20 minute wait because of all the take out orders. When the bowls came I was impressed. They were beautiful, full of toppings and a really decent portion for the price. I proceeded to snap a few pics (with the table's strategically placed potted cactus) for my Instagram later. Hipster chic on fleek (is 'on fleek' stlll a thing? Well, whatever...I'm using it ironically anyway...and plus...it rhymes!!). Then we dug in...heaven. I soon found myself knee deep in a blissful acai bowl food coma and my friend and I enjoyed a long conversation with a pleasant British bloke who joined our table later on (he managed to finish his bowl before I did). My tummy was very happy with me for hours later. Bare Naked definitely lives up to the hype and is good value for money, especially when compared with the other acai bowls around these parts. I shall hopefully be back again before I leave and will then continue to salivate over their Instagram posts from afar. Such is life.

Cafe Moustache only opened this morning (in the spot where Manly's short-lived Belgium Waffle Cafe…read morerested) but they are already doing a few things right: 1) The staff are super friendly and welcoming 2) Their breakfast menu, while not groundbreaking, sets them apart from the other breakfast options available on The Corso. There's a few options that look like they worth trying. 3) A small space but with plenty of seating (and shady, relaxing atmosphere) The coffee isn't the best in Manly, it's also far from the worst. I hope the food tips them in the right direction. I'll check that out this weekend and update the review with more details.

Only thing I would've changed about it was that I wished the spinach had been cooked a bit more but the dill yogurt it came with on the side was amazing. The interior itself is really cute, small but they have heating lamps outside for when it's chilly and still want to dine in. Definitely will be stopping by again for a coffee and another item off the menu soon!
