Very cute coffee shop/bakery in the Grand Village. It is a popular place so be prepared to wait in line for a bit. We got in line at 10:40 and got served at 11:15 and they said that we might not be able to order breakfast :( but they ended up making the sandwich for us. So I suggest getting there a little earlier before the 11 o'clock cut off just in case. The breakfast sandwich & cinnamon roll was AMAZING. They have a separate little shop for just coffee orders which was nice, but the staff could have been a little more efficient overall. I had to take my family here after seeing all of the reviews and wow, I'm so glad we got the key lime pie to share. I was offset by the color (it's more tan than green) but that didn't matter at all. It was creamy and perfectly tart. The presentation was beautiful with a purple flower perched on top of HOMEMADE whipped cream-- not from a can. The crust was of great consistency. My picky eating brother even had a few bites. Oh, and the warm, comforting, homelike atmosphere was a great resting place from our long day. People who complain about the long line: this is Branson as well as a destination/tourist area (The Grand Village). You must expect to wait in a line during PEAK HOURS and on the WEEKENDS. First and foremost, the food is wonderful. Super yummy and slightly different than the usual. Pros: the food is excellent. The bakery items are perfection. The peach tea and strawberry lemonade are both wonderful. The place is decorated so cute! For these reason alone, I would return....but I would do so at an off time or off day. Cons: we waited in line 20 minutes but they were not that busy. They were steady but not anything more than that. The lady taking orders never smiled. She took orders, fixed the drinks, grabbed some of the bakery items and helped carry items to the table. The whole ordering process was extremely inefficient. The staff in general seemed down and almost a bit grumpy (with the exception of one young girl who appeared to be new). While the chicken salad was excellent, the portion was so small that I literally only took 4 bites and it was gone! Despite the shortfalls, I would visit again because the food was so good and I loved the decor and ambiance. We might have caught them in a bad day or something. read more

It was very busy and we waited in line with about 8-10 people in front of us, it took 15-20 minutes to get through the line to order. Many people left because it took so long, which was their loss. The setting is simple yet unique, elegant which I think also describes their food. We had the chili, not overly hot more like a sweet and spicy with a pop of flavors. The desserts are a feast for the eyes! It makes it difficult to choose because everyone looks so delightful. We decided on the Carmel Apple Cheesecake, creamy lemony cheesecake with an apple base and a cinnamon graham cracker crust. Nice twist on cheesecake. My husband and I went here before Easter. It was our first time there. It's a really lovely place. We were greeted as we entered. Staff is very cordial. I had a pick two type thing and chose the Country Ham Sandwich with Chicken Wild Rice Soup. My husband skipped straight to dessert and had the Carrot Cake. That is his favorite cake and he's a bit of a connoisseur about it. He was totally impressed-- he's actually spoken about it multiple times since then. My food was delicious as well. My husband and I came on an out of town visit. The cafe is very cute looking. He ordered a sandwich and kettle chips and I ordered a 1/2 sandwich and salad. We both enjoyed our food immensely. I had a Turkey sandwich and a salad w/ figs and feta. I think he had a ham sandwich and bbq chips. We also had a unique cookie that was very good. The line was long but it didn't take too long to order/pay and receive our food. They bring the food to you like Panera. Only criticism I have was the limited amount of baked goods available. Pros: We ordered 5 different items in our group and everyone raved about the food. The chili was lukewarm but they heated it back up for me at my request and it was very good - similar to sloppy-joe meat. I was advised to get the Almond Joy cake and it was almost $7 for a very thin slice but it was very rich and filling - and excellent! Cons: Being a former restauranteur, I can't understand why they can't come up with a more efficient system for the line. One young lady takes your order and then gives the entree part to 4 guys making sandwiches and salads. But if you order dessert or a drink, she stops what she is doing, put on glove, gets the cake out of the showcase, slices it, puts it on a dish, covers the cake back up, returns it to the case. Then she gets a cup and fills it with ice and pours your drink. Get the point? Only it takes longer for her to do it then it takes to read this; much longer. Simple solution: have an expediter to get desserts and pour drinks so she can move on to the next person in line! I'll give them 5 stars when they figure out how to handle a mere 5 people in line quicker! read more
