DO NOT COME HERE! GO TO SUGARED SOL DOWN THE STREET!! 60$ VS 70$ BRAZILIANS! The only reason I continued to come was because of Alyssa. I tried to book online and she wasn't there anymore so I called and they said she no longer works there and can't say why?? Very odd ..Alyssa was the only one who knew what she was doing.. the other worker Emily is absolutely horrible at her job and I'm not seeing her again nor want to try a new girl. Alyssa was the reason I never left a bad review and why I paid the extra 10$. Quality work. Now I have to find her because they won't tell me where she went! DO NOT COME HERE THEY DON'T HAVE GOOD WAXERS HERE! Extremely disappointing, Alyssa leaving doesn't make sense to me and they leave us clueless. Don't want to support them anymore. read more

I needed a last minute sugaring for a trip to Hawaii last week and my regular sugar lady wasn't available, so Sugar Coated was the only place with available reservations in a short period of time. I am SO glad I came here. First off, they have soooo many times so it wasn't hard finding an appointment quick and easy. The location was easy to find and the inside was really cute. I was scheduled for a Brazilian and under arms sugaring, and I was very nervous before hand as I've never had a Brazilian. I was booked with Alexis and was nervous because I hadn't seen many reviews from this place. Let me tell you, taking a chance on this place was literally the best decision i've ever made. I don't have enough great things to say about Alexis! She was sooo welcoming and made me feel super comfortable after telling her about my nervousness with a Brazilian. She talked me through everything and made everything so fast and painless. I was done within 30 minutes! I just moved to Brea and I know I will be a regular here. Thank you Alexis and Sugar Coated for the awesome experience! read more

Never coming here again and I would not recommend it either I'm sure there's a better spot around here Came once for the first time and first time impressions are important but not to them Did a Groupon for Brazilian and I guess you pay for what you get when u buy those for this place Cheap work, A TON of hair left and a long service that felt like eternity with a stranger .. Molly, emrily or Emily seemed brand new and almost intimated Just glad I didn't pay 70$ for crap work Sad people have to when the price doesn't match the work given read more

I wanted to like this place but both times I went there was a good amount of hair left. What's the point of getting waxed if now i have to shave? Unfortunately, I wont be returning. read more

Gaby was such a vibe, sweet, kind and gentle! Definitely coming back again and again for sugaring :)

I've been coming to sugar coated for a couple years. Emily has been waxing me for over a year. She's the best at what she does. Emily always pays attention to detail making sure she's getting every little stubborn hair. She's definitely the reason why I keep coming. I really wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

This place is nice and clean! OMG I recommend Amber. She's so good with service and relatable.

Had my first ever sugar wax with Alyssa, I could not have been more thankful for her being so kind and making me feel very comfortable during my wax! I was super nervous going in because I'm currently 8mo pregnant and I heard so many people say waxing during pregnancy is more painful than usual but Alyssa was quick and the pain was very tolerable. I've had a wax before with hard wax and I'll NEVER go back to that, with hard wax my swelling lasted about a day or two not to mention the pain being worse but hours later after my sugar wax my swelling is gone! This place is very clean, discreet and smells amazing, the girl at the front desk was very sweet as well! I was initially turned away at the wax salon I usually go to because the waxer was nervous waxing a pregnant woman so I'm glad I found Alyssa & Sugar Coated, I will definitely be back in the future! read more

This spot is all bad now, and clearly from the reviews still bad. I'm more shocked how owners don't care to change things. Me and my friend dez would come together for Alyssa, tried Emily after they let Alyssa go and it was the worst experience. 70$ Brazilian to leave hair, yeah they're trippin. Don't know how she's still there from the stuff I heard. Someone please post where alyssa is :( read more

Amazing experience!! Amber was amazing and super kind and gentle. Second time coming here, the first time was with the owner Megan and they are both amazing. I will definitely be coming back soon! read more

I just had my first Brazilian ever done, like an hour ago with Alyssa! She was great and talked to me the whole time, she made it comfortable. The pain was like 5-8/10 depending on the area. Pop that advil 30 minutes before and just do it! You'll get through it and love the results! read more

All the girls who work here are literally so kind and welcoming. I know showing your body to someone can be nerve wracking but literally no one cares and you can tell how welcoming they are to you even if you are uncomfortable in your skin which I know a lot of individuals struggle with. The vibe inside is so cute and I have loved coming here since May!! Gabrielle is so so kind and I love talking to her. Her work is also AMAZING! Come out as smooth as a babies butt! Thank you Sugar Coated for making me confident!!!! read more

Gabrielle was so efficient and made me feel at ease. I am always nervous getting a Brazilian but she made it quick and painless.

I have gone to many sugar wax places and this is by far my favorite!! Kaitlyn was super sweet, understanding, and professional from the start. I had to reschedule many times due to an emergency and I was nervous to show up due to rescheduling so much thinking they'd be in a bad mood but it was the absolute opposite. She completely understood and treated end me with nothing but kindness :) the actual sugaring was surprisingly not so painful as she distracted with conversation and positive affirmations. The aesthetic of this place and cleanliness is another win!! Definitely recommend getting any service with Kaitlyn. Left feeling great and looking better. read more

I just had a Brazilian done with Emily. She did an amazing job! I keep going back to her because she is very knowledgeable about sugaring and makes sure I'm satisfied with her work before stopping. I had no hair left behind and she gave me tips that have been really helpful with the after care because I have sensitive skin. Emily makes it a very calm environment and is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend going to Emily!! read more

Loved my time with Gabrielle! She's so sweet and does a great and thorough job! She makes me feel so comfortable and I highly recommend her!

ALERT -- HOT & NEW!! Megan was the absolute best, so outgoing and kind, which made me so happy as a first time customer. This boutique is so clean and bright and they carry the most wonderful little treasures from candles to jewlery. I signed up for the promotion and have found my new sugar paradise! read more

First time I have been here and got a Brazilian sugaring from Kaitlyn, who was absolutely AMAZING! She was super friendly and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. I really appreciate her attention to detail and her checking in with me every few minutes to make sure I was doing okay throughout the whole process. I will definitely be booking with her again!! read more

My first time going to Sugar Coated in Brea and it was amazing! I've been trying to find a local sugaring salon that I can come to consistently and this is it! I'm also an esthetician myself and this place is awesome, I would recommend everyone come here to get sugared. Alyssa did such a great job! I can't wait to book again! read more

Very good experience! Gabrielle is amazing very sweet and easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable. The vibes in the store are also very positive. I would def recommend coming here for sugaring. read more

I found this new sugaring place in Brea, which is about 3 mi away from my home. This place is new but they are nothing short from amazing. Megan was super nice and accommodating yet very professional. As someone who always feels awkward with small talks in salons, I guarantee that she is capable of making anyone feel comfortable during the whole session. She has magical hands- she was skillful and quick, and now my skin feels so smooth! From 6 months of living in California I've been around 3-4 waxing/sugaring places and this one has easily become my favorite one so far. Too bad I have to leave the city in a few months but I'd definitely recommend people to check out this place and or buy a membership. Thank you Megan for a wonderful service. read more

Go somewhere else. The waxer they still have here is crap at her job and they've know for months she's a bad waxer and don't care here's how I know: I'm sad Alyssa is no longer here.. She was great at what she did and was the only one who did good at this spot.. I had to get waxed from the other girl when Alyssa wasn't there (don't know her name but she has almost a bob short hair) she left hairs in places that should've been GONE for a Brazilian. I told Alyssa the next visit and apparently the worker also left hair on multiple other people and she had to apologize and make it right to customers who complained to her. She said she told management but they never cared to do anything about it and nothing ever changed as I kept coming for the longest time. SHOWS HOW THEY DO BUSINESS! They don't care if a worker does crappy work on you people. If you get a Brazilian with them there's a 50/50 chance they will leave hairs. I'm not taking my chances for $60/$70. There's better spots I'm sure. I wanted to book my next wax but Alyssa wasn't online anymore so I called and they said she's no longer there. I used Venmo to tip Alyssa and commented on a previous tip to get her number and asked where she's going next. She also let me know she was fired for something the management knew about since she started a long time ago and the more than likely real reason. Yeah DEFINITELY don't want to support a horribly owed spot/ that kinda treatment from management let alone a spot that has a bad worker here still. THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN PEOPLE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Good for last minute appointments, but I've definitely gone to way better places that use better products. The lady could have been more gentle with waxing. Not a fan of the products they use. In addition, I was not given an after care - which is the first time I've ever encountered sugaring. read more

Amber was amazing with my service and I am definitely going to keep coming back because of her!

I've been booking with sugar coated for 8 months now, after feeling uncomfortable at my previous sugar/wax experiences Alyssa & Jacqueline have lifted my anxiety. They are always considerate and kind. I went from dreading a Brazilian to looking forward to it!! Thank you read more

Took me right back. Had the Express spray tan (best spray tan out there!!!) and was out by about 6. What a WONDERFUL experience!! Will ABSOLUTELY be going back!!! Besides...the tan looks PERFECT!!!!!! read more

I've never been waxed before and when I say I was terrified, it's an understatement. I was greeted by the nicest woman who took detailed time to walk me through the procedure and ease my nerves. Her name was Jackie and honestly, without her, I don't think I could've gone through with it because I'm a scaredy cat. I really appreciate how Jackie went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. She checked in on me throughout the waxing and took breaks as I needed. Everybody talks about getting waxed but nobody talks about how nerve wracking it can be so I just want to say thank you to Jackie for all her help and professionalism. I'll be back! read more

Scheduled a Brazilian sugar wax for the first time. Wasn't sure what to expect, however, Alexis was incredibly kind and reassuring. Prior to start she walked me through what to expect and was very reassuring. She made me feel comfortable and safe throughout and engaged me in conversation. I've also gotten my armpits done by Alyssa who was equally welcoming and kind. Amazing staff and outstanding service. read more
