I've been getting serviced here for a year and a half and the experiences have gotten worse over time. I was asked to reschedule multiple times. The owner never showed up for two of my appointments. I had to switch sugarists because the owner didn't service 5+ weeks clients. I only became a 5+ week client because SHE didn't show for my appointments even after I rescheduled to accommodate to her schedule not mine. I switched to other sugarists who, by the way, were so amazing. All of them were fired and, of course, my appointments were then given to the owner WITHOUT notice. The way this business is ran is terrible and very inconvenient. If it weren't for Sanvy in the front always being super kind and welcoming, I'd give this place zero stars. read more

I was coming here consistently every 4 weeks for my Brazilian and my appointment was supposed to be today at 1:30pm. I had started my period unexpectedly this morning and called to RESCHEDULE. NOT cancel. And they charged me a cancellation fee. I am aware of the 24hour notice policy. However, in my opinion, as a former professional in the industry myself, this should be an exception. I wanted to simply reschedule for next Friday so that I would be off my cycle for the appointment, but was told I would STILL be charged 50% of the service fee. This is insane to me considering this was mothers nature and I wasn't cancelling the appointment. Just changing the date. I was very happy with my services prior to this incident. First thing I did contact 30 minutes prior ..come to find out she " forgot " to text me shes working from her home during the 3 week shut down and asks for cash only ... The most unprofessional !!! I wanted to like this place since my cousin had recommended it to me. I got my first service in June and I booked with Krystalin cause my cousin told me to request her. She was really good, really nice and I was very happy with her and the service she provided. I wanted to book her again for maintenence in July before my vacation but she wasnt available the day i requested. I had read reviews on here and there were recommendations for Sugared Peach so i decided to try it out since i needed to get serviced before my vacation. I was very happy with EMILY AT SUGARED PEACH, she even charged me the maintenance fee instead of the whole service fee even though i didnt get waxed with her the prior month. She uses all the same products Sugar Bee does too. August comes and I came back to Sugar Bee cause I wanted to stay with who my cousin had first recommended me to. I booked my appointment and requested Krystalin and when i get there, it's not Krystalin, its another girl. I don't feel comfortable at all. I had read reviews that they are constantly hiring new girls and most dont know what they are doing, making it painful and uncomfortable for the customer. I didn't want to risk experiencing this. I know everyone has to get the experience to be able to learn and they will be hiring new staff all the time but Krystalin had already performed my service and i wanted to go back to HER. I didn't want a new person. So another girl comes in and apoligizes and states Krystalin just cancelled all her appointments for the day like 5 mins ago and asks if I just want to reschedule. Im like sure I GUESS. She says well we are charging you 50% for canceling and you will be charged the full service fee again when you come back in. I'm like WHAT? WHY? And she says cause your canceling after the 24 hour mark. I'm like well I wouldn't be canceling if Krystalin didn't cancel on ME so why am I being charged? How am i at fault here? Im on time, Im here. Shes not. She states I signed the form before my service and it states you arent guranteed the person you request. This is news to me. I didnt read the form thoroughly, MY FAULT. Its a medical form and I just assumed it was a form to cover their butt's from getting sued. But just for future reference, read that paper they have you initial prior to your service. YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED THE PERSON YOU REQUEST which is dumb to me honestly. Then why even be able to request at all. And wanting to charge me for being canceled on and not wanting to get the service done by a new person? Obviously THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS OR BUILDING CLIENTELE. The PROFESSIONAL thing to do was to call the customer and let them know they won't be able to get the person they requested and ask if it's okay if they get someone else or would rather reschedule. I didn't get notified at all, but again they mentioned that form I signed in the beginning which states I'm not guaranteed my requested person. I've never EVER had anything like this happen to me. I get my pedicures done at the same salon for the past 6 years and ask for my specific person to do my service and BECAUSE I REQUEST HER, it's going to be her doing my service. Also with my hair. I been going to the same spot for the past 4 years and the one person who does my hair has ALWAYS done it because I book my appointments with her and only her and if she ever had to cancel, she would call and apologize and reschedule me. Not throw me to a random hair stylist to do my hair. This was upsetting. Like I said, I wanted to like this place. They have lost a customer who could have easily become a loyal customer because when I like a service, I will continue to come back. But wanting to charge me for not feeling comfortable with a new person when i initially requested a certain person for a reason and not getting notified about it is ridiculous. I have been going to EWC for over 7 years, and after constant staffing change and not a constant waxer I thought I would take my friend's advice and switch over to Sugar Bee.... Let me tell you. My first service was today and it was magnificent! You would think that after 7 years of Brazilian Waxing you'd just have the same experience and expectations BUT Sugar Bee has Astonished me and Exceeded my expectations. London was the most professional waxer. She was sweet and careful and walked you through everything. But she was also mindful, she understands that everyone is different so she ensures your comfort. As I've been coming to her for some time now, I've come to learn JUST how committed she is to her clients. I went to her after I had my baby and was obviously nervous but she eased my nerves and made the whole experience amazing and comfortable. I've been going to her ever since. Súper bummed that I won't be coming back here. Already canceled my pre booked appointments for next month. I know their policy is if you cancel you'll be charged 50% but honestly I feel like you'd keep more loyal customers if you were considerate the way we are for you guys when you guys are late or move our appointments day of. I've always had my appointments moved by them and have been considerate. Today I was on my way an hour earlier than my appointment and got a flat , I'm waiting for Triple A because I'm pregnant and can't change it myself, if I wasn't then I would have done it myself and been on my way! So I called to see if we could move it if she had any time today (like at my last appointment they sent me a text and rescheduled my appointment for later right when I was ready to leave for the appointment at my original time, but I was considerate and waited) But $60 for having to reschedule? And then in the end I would be paying $200 for one facial service? I have been coming here for over a year for my Brazilian, and have gotten other services (back, chest, armpits), I wanted to start coming for facials but I guess I'll be finding somewhere closer to home. I came in for a Brazilian, this was only my 5th time getting a Brazilian I've never had any kind of waxing done before and I come back here every time. As soon as you walk in the door you're greeted with a smile and a good attitude. The place is always super clean, organized and well decorated. I usually see Karen for my Brazilian but my service provider got switched last minute so Amber took care of me today. I was a little nervous since I'm comfortable with Karen but Amber made me feel very comfortable from the start, she was very thorough, went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the service. Everytime I come it's always great vibes, positive attitudes and smiles from the front desk and the waxers. You cannot go wrong with Karen or Amber they are both awesome. My appointments have been moved several times but just texting to move... the first appt the sugarist was running over an hour behind because jt was the owner and she stated she fired someone that day and was cleaning up the mess. Fast forward... I had appts today and of course they moved again by text to earlier spot but I was running a few minutes late due to traffic. I called and rudely told I could be 5 min late or cancelled and pay. I explained the traffic, then changing... basically they don't care. They will charge my card! I call back to speak to owner as they charged my card a no show fee within 1 min of hanging up the phone although my appt was not for 20 min. I was told the owner doesn't handle customer service issues! Wow. What a horrible business!! Then they try to tell you a lie!!! So go back and see if you fired an employee on that date!! read more

Well..... I seriously debated on leaving a review. First off let me say this is a fantastic place for all your sugaring needs, I have been a faithful customer for close to four years now, I started coming to this business when the owner was solo. I have watched her business grow and I stayed along for the journey..... Now, last Saturday 11/12/022 I had an appointment scheduled for the evening time, I get a call around 10am from the receptionist asking me if I'm able to come in earlier because my original time is no longer able.... Now I make a comment saying I might have to change my time anyways ...but I can't come earlier due to the fact that I'm working..... the receptionist informs me that there isn't any later time slots later in the day. So I can't keep my original time because it's no longer available I can't come earlier because I'm working and I can't come later because there's no time slots available! I tell her earlier isn't going to work, and since I can't come in period because there's nothing available I'm going to have to reschedule or cancel.... The receptionist informs me there's going to be a 50 percent cancellation fee! Now it's never my intention to cancel or reschedule but I can't be accommodated! So on Tuesday I call in and spoke to the manger and ask if there is anyway way I get your the cancellation fee waived because I wasn't really given a choice because there wasn't many options available for my scheduled appointment day! Of course she just goes over the cancellation policy and is stuck on the fact that I made a comment about how I might need to change my appointment time anyways... she overlooked the fact that I couldn't be accommodated, and wanted to go on and on about the comment I made about changing my scheduled time... Now it's not like they wouldn't of got my business, I'm a faithful customer! Never late, never cancel and I'm always accommodating to the business when they call me and ask if I can change my appointment time when someone isn't available anymore. I feel like in this situation it was policy over customer service. Response: You're really going to lie and say I called to ask for an appointment change? I can easily bring up the call log and prove that you guys called me to inform ME that my time at 5:45pm was no longer available to me and asked if I could move my time up! I can't believe you're twisting these whole situation to favor your company! This is seriously ridiculous......I'm not going to deny I asked if you had something a bit later but to say I called you and asked for another appointment time is seriously ludicrous.... And I never said you guys cancelled on me multiple times, I simply stated that I have moved my appointment times around when your front desk calls and says my original appointment time isn't available, I never said you canceled on me..... if you look at my appointments history you will see I have never no showed, or canceled. I got walked in at my exact appointment time set with London. London was an absolute gem and I'm so glad I made my appointment with her. She was so friendly, informative, gentle, and gave 10/10 results. Only reason I went in was because this place was located by my job and I'm not from the area, but I was needing to stay on track. I would definitely come back if ever needed. She even recommended a hydrating balm that would help my exfoliating routine. I've been searching high and low for a place in the Inland Empire to get waxing done. In Corona, I've been looking at places but kept seeing scary reviews. Krystalin did an amazing job of introducing me to sugaring. She was patient, gentle, and informative through the whole process. She talked me through the process and eased my nerves. I've been coming here for the past three years, and recently, I moved back out to Orange County. Having it be a 40 minute drive from home, I thought it would be better for me to find a spot near me and let me just say, I was extremely disappointed. I received a text message from the company on Friday saying that my 615 appointment has been canceled and rescheduled for 430. I text back and said I wasn't able to come in at 4:30. They text back and said for me to come in on Tuesday at 4:15. I wasn't able to make that either, hence, the reason I made the appointment for 615.
