Once my kid's appointment is done, we're just sent to the front desk to book the next one. No check-in, no explanation of where we are in treatment or what's coming next. I'm sure everything's going fine, but as a parent I'd like to actually be looped in occasionally instead of finding out things secondhand from my child. All three of my children had Orthodontic work done by Dr. Gabe, and my daughter had braces put on twice. Dr. Gabe is so friendly and gentle. He likes to joke around with the children. My children, who are 20+ years old now, were under his care for quite a number of years. He allays any fears children might have with his kid-friendly personality. The patients get to choose the color of their bands, and the staff are so patient about that. Sometimes it takes a while to make the right choice, lol! The nice thing about his practice is that there is a set maximum you pay for your entire Orthodontic care. So, since my daughter had 2 rounds of Ortho care, we didn't have to pay all over again. Also, when your child is finished with the braces and gets their retainer, he is always willing to have your child come in and he will check and adjust them at no additional charge. This practice is run very efficiently and has a friendly staff! You are not kept waiting for a long time. It is also super clean and has a nice calming fish tank to watch & distract the little ones. I found them through my insurance's provider website, then called to be sure they take Cigna PPO; they do. My insurance company royally screwed up and tried to say Dr. Lee was not in network. After talking with Jessica, they changed their tune to "Oh actually he is, let's get that re-worked." My only complaint is the $88 charge for "Oral hygiene instructions". I don't think "brush, floss, don't drink sugary drinks" is really $88 advice. If it's the after-care instructions for the gum thing I had done, isn't the after-care instruction just part of the procedure? Why a separate charge?

I almost felt I want to leave in the middle of root canal procedure. Recently I have to redo the same tooth she worked on because she didn't do a good job on the root canal. Costing me more money and losing the tooth because of her bad and sloppy work. I don't know if she's still working there but if you seen her, run!
