The fish tank was a big hit with my kids! The separate kids waiting room and toys were very helpful. Dr. Lo's open, knowledgeable and thoughtful explanations to my kids and myself was exemplary. His manner is so kind, tender, and intelligent with creative dental solutions for any need! Today was our second visit to address some cavities and watching Dr. Lo and his assistant Brenda work together to put my son at ease, proceed thru the dental work, and ensure he remained calm and comfortable was such a wonderful experience for both my son and I. Once inside, they had some Montessori toys for the kiddos to play with, but not an overwhelming amount which was nice. We really liked that they didn't sit him in a dentist chair for the first visit and how hands on they were with teaching us the correct way to brush a toddlers teeth. They shared a chart with us of foods that cause and don't cause cavities, which we thought was cute. At the end of the visit, he received a token to redeem a prize at one of the capsule machines. He was so excited to receive his little token and even learned how to put it in on the spot. Turning to get the prize our required mamas help We also took a first visit picture with him that we got to take home with us. It was a very nice and memorable experience and we can't wait to go back! I'd definitely recommend Pearly Smiles to first time parents and all parents. I called yesterday to see if they…read morewere accepting new patients, and luckily, they had a cancellation, so I was able to book an appointment for the next morning at 8 AM. Upon arrival, we followed the office's request to call first, and we were welcomed in right away. The nurses and doctors were ready for us, and the entire visit took less than 30 minutes. Scheduling the next appointment was just as smooth--the receptionist was wonderful, and we even shared a good laugh over something silly I said. She promptly sent over the new patient documentation, which, while tedious, is a standard step at any office. The facility is bright, clean, and inviting. My little one was especially fascinated by the fish tank in the lobby, which made waiting a breeze. The staff was incredibly patient and interactive--exactly what you need for a toddler's first dental experience. Went in on a Tuesday morning at 11:30am for my son's first visit to the dentist. We came in 1 or 2 minutes late (it's hard with a toddler sometimes lol). They welcomed us and checked us in. A few minutes later, we were called to go in. Tracy helped us, and she was so good with my son. Tried to gain his trust, but he remained weary. She tried her best and was very good with him. Dr Pham came in, and he had to be held down by my husband and Dr Pham. It was very quick. He cried the whole minute, but he was cavity free. Dr Pham explained how his enamel was and went over all the questions that I had. Such a super sweet team, Dr Pham and Tracy. They gave us a token for a toy in the toy dispensers and also gave us a welcome bag. My son loved the spinning ball from the toy dispenser and the teddy bear from the welcome bag.
