If you're headed to or home from the beach, this is the perfect spot. We were in the mood for ice cream, but didn't feel like driving to Saybrook. I'm so glad we stopped in. They had both our favorites-s'mores and maple walnut. A small cone was a good size and we walked out with two cones for under ten dollars. That is about what you'd pay at Fenwick or DQ. This place is nothing fancy inside, but an ultimate hidden gem! We walked in and the small place was packed! The server said the food wait was a while. We didn't mind. It ended up being maybe 15 minutes. The three of us ordered: BLT Eggs Benedict, French Toast, English muffins and a fruit cup. All the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! There's only one short order cook. He does a one-man show cooking 4 to 5 meals (maybe more) at one time. It was incredible watching him. Overall, Customer Service was great. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. There's one very tiny restroom in the back of the restaurant. Regarding parking, we just grabbed a spot on the street.
