The Three Cheese Lasagna Soup is a new menu item. It was also pretty good, with a little spice, but it tasted salty as well, though not as salty as the potato soup. The Carnitas Elote Market Bowl was okay. The rice was pretty good, the avocado was very good, but the cucumber, which was one of my customizations, was limp. Perhaps that was because the bowl was placed underneath a hot container of soup in the same takeout bag. After tasting the potato soup, I checked the nutrition information and was surprised by the sodium levels. The recommended daily limit for most healthy adults is 2,300 milligrams. The potato soup alone contained nearly three-quarters of that amount, while the Market Bowl exceeded the recommended daily limit in a single meal. Salt can certainly make food taste better, but does it really need to be this salty?
