Ordered a 6 inch sub and the guy preparing it thought might be an inch too long so he took the liberty of cutting some off (I don't think that was needed). So maybe service should be a one star but I like the convenience of having a sub place near by so i'll give a three. read more

Ordered online and I'm very disappointed. I added 2 sauces and the sandwich had so much on it, it was all I could taste. Looked over the 2nd half of the footlong and found a hard, round part of a banana pepper! Thank goodness otherwise I would've broken a tooth! Don't the employees look at what they are putting on sandwiches? If it doesn't look right, don't put it on there! Honestly, the only time I've gotten a sandwich that was good and didn't cause me stomach issues later is when the older guy probably the owner is working. Absolutely worst service! Tried to get the deal of the day and was turned around and charged full price on all the items. And the excuse from the worker was, "oh, I just work here." Yeah. Beware if you order a Rotisserie Chicken sandwich from the Stanwood Subway. They use canned chicken instead of rotisserie chicken. The difference in taste is noticeable. Three times I have ordered a Rotisserie Chicken sandwich, and three times it was canned chicken, so this is not a one-time problem. read more

I usually don't leave poor reviews but this placed Ef'd up good....Placed an online order and brought it home to find they somehow combined the two sandwiches. The breads were wrong, bacon was missing, added same vegetables to both when they were VERY different orders. Mine was missing the three sauces I asked for and only got one sauce that was on my wife's sandwich. And neither were toasted as requested... idk how you mess up THAT BAD. I even looked at the receipt they attach to the bag and everything shows the correct order... just not what they gave us. read more

Terrible service. They only ever have one person working here even if it's the middle of the day during lunchtime. Every time I have come to this location; it has been a bad experience. My boyfriend and I just waited outside for 20 minutes for them to open. They ended up opening 10 minutes late, and once my boyfriend finally went inside to get his sandwich they didn't even have anything prepared for opening. They were still getting the til ready, and after my boyfriend waited for them to complete that he tried to make an order but apparently I didn't even have what he wanted ready yet. I guess they don't understand that you're supposed to prepare BEFORE you open... not 15 minutes after. What a mess. Do not come here unless you're prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to get your food because that's what ends up happening every time you will come here. read more

This subway is the best subway that I have been to. I live on Camano and I will drive all the way into town to go to this subway instead of the one on the island. It is the beat because the workers make the beat wraps here. They are always full. You get your money's worth. The workers are pleasant too. A nice touch. read more

Saturday at 4:30. A extreamly rainy day. Dark, wet and cold. Until I stepped into this Subway. There were no other customers in the resturant, but I got a happy friendly, "Hello, I'll be right with you!" from the back room. Michelle came bouncing out almost immediately. She had a great attitude and big smile. A really great employee. I did not have to repeat anything and even when I complained that they had no diet drinks in the cooler, she smiled and directed me to the fountain drink machine which had 2 diet choices. the sandwich was great and her happiness even brightened a gloomy day! I find it so unfortunate that I work so close and can no longer enjoy subway for lunch. I have 30 minutes to get in and out and their slow working wastes 15 minutes every time. That's strike 1. I am very forgiving so multiple times I have kindly allowed obvious mistakes on my sandwich that would require a remake which I do not have time for. That's strike 2. What really pushed me over the edge was when I tried paying with a $100 during a busy lunch time and the laziness of the workers determined that breaking my bill wasn't worth their time. being a dirty establishment and having terrible employees I have determined that I have eaten at this subway for the last time. Hopefully they get their act together and gain some customer service as many others are turning down this same road. read more

Terrible. I can't eat their sandwiches because something in the bread makes me sick, so I usually opt for the protein bowl. Apparently the concept of putting ingredients into a bowl, mixing it up and serving it seems to be too much to grasp for the employees here. Twice I have ordered a Protein bow and twice it wasn't made correctly. At least this time they heated up the steak. Both times my wife brought it home to me so I wasn't able to say anything to the employee. This last time, there wasn't even enough to fill a Kid's sandwich. For $12 you should get better than this crap. Either this store doesn't train their employees, or the employees just don't care. I emailed Subway about the horrible experience and their lame reply was "sorry, we will let the store know." Personally, I hope this store closes. Clearly their employees don't care and neither does Subway judging by their response. Customers deserve better. read more

Pros- Clean Crisp veggies Good bread Not to bad of prices Has bathrooms Cons- Only one worker The worker was rude: especially when my mom couldn't make up her mind Overall- it was a nice subway. Subway has both pros and cons. A con is that the tables aren't always clean. A pro is that they have good food. Con. Sometimes workers aren't always the nicest. Pro. Has bathroom. Con. Has only one bathroom. Pro. From local houses, you can walk there. That's it. read more

What a joke of a sub shop, never had what is should. Always have to settle for something. " sorry we just ran out of that" so sick and tired of hearing that at 5 o'clock, not even after the dinner rush. Well I was desperate thought how bad could it be? Well let me tell you there was only two people in line both clearly had orders. Three employees are at the ready. I asked about the sun-dried tomato turkey bacon avocado wrap, said dark haired twinkles repeats "wrap ? " I explain my question and again she repeats "wrap?" I am forced to ask " are you paying attention ? And twinkles reply's with "what?" And all I can do is listen to the voices in my head to flee quickly. Which I do immediately . Anyway let me explain the new nasty tricks I experienced from the Stanwood Subway. I go in to order, new guy doesn't or can't make my simple order so he calls the person who can. I order a turkey bacon avocado wrap ($7.99) I ask for nothing extra or anything too crazy (red onions green bell pepper and spinach) on the tortilla . I ask for no avocado because it did not look fresh ( which I did not say ) I got an " oh ok " not anything big , right . When said first guy whom is unable to manage said wrap rings me up wrap girl says to him " it's a turkey wrap with added bacon" I said excuse me? She tells me that "you did not get a turkey bacon avocado You got a turkey with extra bacon" oh hell no your not charging me additional monies for REMOVING a product from one of your regular menu items. I said that was not ok morally or ethically. Which she insulted me with that's how we charge it's a SUBWAY rule. Ok so the previous two weeks of getting this wrap everyone but you is charging me $7.99? She said started to snark out at me and I walked out without my order. I sat in parking lot and dialed SUBWAY corporate customer service line. Not only did the initial hold time take 9 minutes but the poor service rep was frankly shocked that happened. She further explained that is not policy in any store to do such an up-charge. When asked if I would like a call from the owner I said " absolutely " so I have waited for 5 days for said call. Crickets, so if you like me are Shanghaied for extra monies when in fact you are removing an item don't be surprised at all. Clearly they do not care to get my money's. read more

The food is good the 2 times I have been there. The last time is was there on a Saturday at 6 pm, they only had one kind of cookie left and the person behind me tried to order but they were out of 2 kinds of meats he wanted on his sandwich. The person who made my made sandwich was pleasant but the lady who rang up my order was not and I felt like I was bothering her. Seems like they need to plan ahead with the amount of food they have. read more
