The star was the cheesesteak. Being asked to tip beforehand ($8 on a $41 tab, total $49) is mildly annoying. I ordered from the counter, we ate out of styrofoam takeout boxes, and we cleaned up our own trash. I don't mind tipping, and I tip well for good service. I waited tables for two years, so I understand how important tips are to wait staff. But I don't think there are any waiters here. Anyway, good food, pleasant staff, and clean restaurant. Would recommend.

They and the Cathy family would be aghast at the service and food we were served at this location. My granddaughter wanted Chick Fil A for lunch, so we went to this location on our way to another event. My granddaughter ordered the 5 piece Chicken Nuggets, apple sauce, waffle fries and a juice box. Hard to mess this up so nothing noteworthy here. My wife ordered the Market salad with grilled chicken. I noticed her moving the lettuce but not eating it. She said the chicken was alright as were the strawberries. The salad looked like it was dug out of a dirty hole. Hardly appetizing and certainly old (see photos and receipt) I told my wife if my owner operator friends (A, B and C) saw this, they'd be upset. I encouraged her to let them know. She went to the counter and the three ladies there told her this salad was MADE TODAY! What?! They said because she ate the chicken and strawberries they could only give her a side salad with lettuce, which was fair. The manager never came out to settle this but told the ladies to take care of it. Must have been SOOO busy. so they offered my wife a side salad which looked just as old. She finally chose a side salad that was the least rusty. IF they made the salads today, wouldn't you think, I can't serve what I wouldn't eat myself? Uhhh, na. It dawned on me they likely don't sell a lot of salads at this location so they sit either in the bag or in the salad container. I submit, stick to what you do best and take the nasty salads off the menu here. Shame is, we love their salads.... Just not here. One and done for me.

The young lady at the register did not say it was broken, she truthfully said it was off. Look, I've never worked at a fast food place so I can't speak from experience but some places will make the shake one minute before closing and others shut down an hour before. It seems like cutting corners. I get it in a super slow area- however this is a popular spot in a busy mall food court. So I ate it with a knife and fork. And it was DELICIOUS. The sandwich came with a big piece of crispy fried chicken that the bun could barely contain. The chicken was fried fresh, so it was hot and juicy. In addition to being hot in temperature, it was hot spice-wise. It came with candied jalapeños, soy chili jam, pickles, and Sriracha. The spice was balanced well with some nice sweetness and a tasty kale slaw that added some brightness to the sandwich. Even the bun itself was delicious. The place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a few tables if you want to dine in. The water is self-serve. There are cups and a sport cooler in front of the counter.

It came with a jalapeño corn muffin. It was 10 dollars and I chose a chocolate chip cookie with caramel and pecans in it because, why not. My chicken was delicious. I chose hot honey sauce because I was curious. It was so spicy and cleaned my sinuses right up. The sauce came on the side, thank goodness for that. The muffin was OK. It would have been better warmed. The cookie: sooooo good. Because I was being nice, I gave my kid a piece, but next time I will eat it in the car before I get home, like the pros do.

FOOD: The food is bad, there's no other way to put it. I ordered Quarter Pounder Cheese & Bacon meal ($10.59). The sandwich was hastily built with cheese that wasn't melted at all, abundance of onion, and halfway cooked meat. The fries tasted stale. They were also overly salty, impossible to eat. The fries also weren't sold with over the top fill, but rather had a half empty container. Coke is not what you'd expect from McDonalds. You know, the syrupy, bold taste. This coke was extremely diluted and looked much more clear than usual. I was quite surprised with this meal. Despite being very hungry, I tried a little bit of everything and didn't eat it. Perhaps some other options are more on brand here but whatever I ordered wasn't good. SERVICE: The service here is surprisingly friendly. Employees smile at you, greet you in a polite manner, and are a joy to interact with. This is very rare nowadays for fast food establishments. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of order fulfillment and pleasantries. I'm rating this place 3 stars only due to good service. The food is easily 1 star. After a string of taco-shaped tragedies, I returned with a simple request: Can I see my order before I pay? You know, like a normal person trying to avoid another round of tortilla-wrapped regret. But apparently, transparency is against company policy. I said fine--if it's garbage again, I'll pay and ask for a refund. Their response? "We don't do refunds." Cute. So I asked for a receipt. The manager (allegedly) looked me dead in the eye and said, "We don't give receipts." What is this, a speakeasy for sadness? Fast forward to 8/14. I thought, "Maybe daytime staff will be better." Spoiler alert: they weren't. The food was served at a temperature best described as lukewarm regret, and the portions? Legendary in their stinginess. If you enjoy paying premium prices for taco shells and a whisper of lettuce, this is your Disneyland. I ordered a bowl of taco meat--$1.60 for 1.3 ounces. That's not a portion, that's a garnish. When I asked about it, the surly human behind the counter shrugged and said, "That's what you get." Inspirational. This place isn't just bad. It's performance art in mediocrity.
