Service was good as we had the room to ourselves - like the SU themed decorations on the walls. We both ordered 8oz Sirloins & Sweet Potato Fries. Sirloin was good, but i think it actually may have been accidentally salted twice.... easily rectified by dumping a little water on it to wash the salt away (I'm easy to please;) - was perfect after that! Sweet Potato Fries were AWEsome! Trying to watch carb intake so good sweet potato fries are always a treat;) Would like to return here ...maybe even sit outside on a slightly cooler night;)

This restaurant is the most inaccurately rated restaurant I have ever reviewed. Its current rating…read moreis completely inaccurate and in fact you should eat here, its very, very, good. As I understand it is under new management and ownership but is being held down by old ratings. Please only pay attention to the new ratings. My experience started with the fact the place is very cute, quiet, romantic, and quaint. I really like the lights and the local postcards on the walls establishing a sense of place. I had the cheese steak which had some unique cheeses and other ingredients including horseradish aioli and peppers. It was a very tasty new take on a classic. Could use a bit more aioli and seasoning. But it was very good and the portion was huge. My wife had the soup of the day and enjoyed it. we also had a Ceasar salad.. and that is what it is. I LOVE them but you can't really rate such a standard. The service was amazing and the waitress and all other staff were completely on point. The food came out quick, and if I am in town again I WILL eat here again. I would love to try some of the dinner entrees.

We ordered a tray, nachos and a pulled chicken sandwich. We thought we ordered the half nachos but did end up with the full. The amount of food could have fed 8 to 10 people. The atmosphere I thought was great. The staff were friendly and fun, and the prices, to us, were crazy low for the amount of food you received. I have no doubt this will be a regular for the college kids, and we will definitely be back when we come visit.

I stopped in today for lunch and based on the quality of food I have to drop my overall rating to…read morethree stars. Today I ordered a brisket sandwich. I knew the brisket was pulled and not sliced when I ordered. The brisket was the driest least flavorful brisket I have had in a long long time and I regretted my meal choice instantly. The sandwich was large and overstuffed which would have been great, except it meant I had to eat a lot of the dried out meat on its own. Even worse the amount of sauce provided was pathetic. If I had a decent amount of sauce it may have hidden the poor meat. Overall I give the brisket sandwich 1 star and do not recommend it to anyone. Another point that was a bummer was neither my sandwich or Mac and cheese were hot. Eating half cold food that's dried out is ok at a backyard bbq but when paying $15 for lunch I am looking for something of higher quality.
