Went to McDonald's in Shippensburg Pa on Sunday. Ordered my food and paid. Last window ,they said I didn't pay. I gave them my order number. I had a receipt. But they said I don't order. They called a manage over. She didn't know what to do. They argued constantly with me. I left very pissed off. They treat customers like idots. Don't think I am using them anymore. Don't think they want big orders. Ambiance negative. read more

It was pretty good.. very welcoming food was fresh.. I will definitely come back again

Ordered on the app. Drive-thru was initially very slow...we sat for a while without any movement. However, once it started moving, it went quickly. We only ordered drinks, so our order was ready and correct. No issues. Staff seemed friendly. Was not inside the restaurant, so I can't comment on cleanliness. Overall, not bad. Better than some other McDonald's I've been to. read more

This restaurant is no longer fast. Nearly every time we go through the drive thru, we are forced to pull over to the side and wait. However, if you go into the restaurant, you will find the service even slower than the drive thru. AS for the food it is what you would expect. read more

Order was taken promptly. Food came out in a decent amount of time. Chicken strips were soggy greasy. french fries were limp and just warm. Lots of staff but most tables dirty. Big puddle of water in the aisle between the tables. People coming in the door in street clothes, and then going back behind where food was being prepared. I think maybe ownership changed but not sure. We used to frequent this location quite a bit, but hadn't been there in a while. Will not be going back. read more

McDonald's - The receipts have the order info, how hard is it to match receipts ?? - Fast Food Near Me - Shippensburg, Pennsylvania

Two stars but yet y'all still eat there. It's heavily processed food served by the least experienced people in the public workforce. Settle down you pre-diabetic Karens. If you want good food cheap, learn to cook. Just because the news media and some SJW is telling you they want $15 an hour doesn't mean everyone there is expecting to make $15 an hour. read more

This is by far the slowest, fast food place in the area. Went there this morning and after waiting the standard 8 to 10 min in drive through I received my OJ and McGriddle. Once I got to work and sat down to breakfast I noticed my griddle had no cheese or egg, just the sausage and the bun. I dunno how you can mess that up, but there it is. Normally I would chalk it up to them being busy, except I was the only one there.... read more

McDonald's - Bring back the service! - Fast Food Near Me - Shippensburg, Pennsylvania

We've LITERALLY NEVER had our entire order be right. I'm not even exaggerating. It's a running joke at this point on what they'll "forget" or "mix-up". Do not recommend. We only go now when it's the only option and we check EVERYTHING BEFORE leaving especially since you can't even go inside to get it fixed, you have to go back through the drive through line again. read more

Refused to take my order at the counter . Had to use the computer. Clean but very impersonal. read more

McDonald's - Oh to be able to speak to a human - Fast Food Near Me - Shippensburg, Pennsylvania

It's a pretty typical McDonald's restaurant. This location has very slow service. They had a large box promotion (it was a few Big Macs, hamburgers, French fries) that I wanted to try. I ordered it in May (as there was still a large promotional sign above the menu board) and was told the promotion ran out in April. It's mid June, the sign is still up. read more

If all the employee's that work at this McDonald's lost one brain cell the kitchen would be filled with plants. They can't seem to ever get an order right. Ever. When you make a complaint about your order to the provided email/number you get no response. I have a feeling it is because the owner lacks the ability to read. This lack of mental capacity to read may explain their inability to hire even one employee capable of making a correct order. If there was another McDonald's in this backwater town I guarantee this one would have been closed a long time ago. read more

I tried to get two travvy patty meals and they rung it wrong. No big deal, but when I politely told them they messed up I was met with bitterness by Karen. Also I didn't get any bbq sauce read more

I will say this... the food is of pretty good quality for a McDonalds. I am slightly fed up with this McDonalds however. I go there at least once a day (I am an athlete, I can afford it!) and they consistently get my order wrong. Problem is, I am usually in a rush to get to work that I do not realize until later. Now I don't know about you guys but I would pin this on the business. It is their responsibility to have the order right for the customer. I would be willing to say at least once a week they get my order wrong. The worst part about this is that I have tried to call their corporate office in Chambersburg and have got no reply! Clearly this McDonalds is not really into customer service as long as it gets to keep your money! read more

There is just no way the quarter pounder was cooked when you order them, my quarter pounder was served in about two minutes, takes longer than that to cook a hamburger. The girl taking the order and the girl serving the food we're not very attentive, they were kind of rude. I had to knock on the service window to get my receipt. The french fries had absolutely no salt on them, and I was never asked if I needed salt or any condiments. I guess this is typical for college town but I will not go back again. read more

The slowest fast food place I have ever been to. People were rude, we only ordered 2 drinks and they couldn't handle that. They were understaffed as admitted by their shift manager which then makes for a stressful situation with the employees. Couldn't keep track of the drive through traffic. Had no idea who was where. Didn't rotate between the 2 lanes. 6 employees to run a store that was getting crushed. It was our 2nd time there. Our first time was during the day. Staff had excellent customer service skills and attentive to the customer's needs. Went above and beyond. But their evening staff needs more staffing and better customer service skills. Additionally, their drive through mic kept cutting out. So I suggest the owners look into that. I would also secret shop your business at night through your drive through to see what we experienced. I'll go during the day, but at night I'll go to Sheetz instead. They have better service 24 -7 read more

This location was so clean, unlike most McDonald's where your feet stick to the floor. The staff members were so kind and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and checked on our twice to offer assistance. Great customer service, quick food, clean facility and beautifully remodeled with a modern vibe. read more

This location was completely torn down and rebuilt. It opened August 2016. Now the restaurant is stylish, modern and sophisticated, it even includes a charging station for electronics. The kitchen area is more spacious, there's a separate corridor by the drive-thru where the McCafes are made. Drive-thru is much more efficient. Rebuilding improved their service greatly. Many new employees were hired and I can see a difference. They are very friendly, fast and attentive. On my recent visit inside, the cashier was sweet and personable, my McCafe was perfect, and the food was correctly built and fresh. On two separate visits thru drive-thru, employees at both windows were friendly and personable and the food was fresh and hot, with napkins included (that's a big improvement.) I'm very happy with their service all around! Great place to eat and bring the family. Disregard any former reviews on here because they no longer apply to this new and improved location. :) read more

Worst McDonald's in the world! Food is cold and fries stale. Ordered a breakfast burrito and there was about 1 tbls of filling and so every bite was doughy. Manager rude and not helpful. Location is King Street. I hit the drive through about once a week on the way to work usually between 6:30 AM and 7 AM. Recently the wait has been horrible. Today I waited 8 min and finally just pulled out of line and left. I need to get to work and simply cannot wait this long for window service. A car pulled in prior to me but parked and went inside. They left very quickly while I remained in line. The early window service has to got to improve! Thanks read more

This McDonalds is awful. For one, it's terribly outdated and dirty. The drive thru is always horrendous and takes forever and a day to get through it. The buns are always stale and the fries are undercooked. The employees are miserable and have cocky attitudes. One day I was brave enough to eat inside, and directly under my table was a family of ants eating French fries that fell on the floor that no one bothered to clean up. I showed an employee but apparently I was the only one bothered by it. Save your time and either eat before you go or drive a little further to your next fast food restaurant. read more

this place is literally shit. when the special event shamrock shakes are available all of a sudden the shake machines are down and some how by magic the shake machine is working for one night and then it's broken again?! wow....what a terrible place. employees do NOT give 1 shit that you are there or need to place an order. I stood there at the counter today at 1pm, wanting to order....4 individuals behind the counter fought as to who would unload the delivery truck. I went to McDonalds and ordered two ten piece meals, a sausage mcmuffin meal and a Big Mac meal. I didn't get any drinks, or fries with my meals. I talked to the lady behind the counter and the manager. The manager told the girl behind the counter to reorder my order but instead she made me buy the fries to make them meals. It's bullshit that I can't walk into a McDonalds and them get my meal correct. I also never got my receipt. I will never be going to the shippensburg McDonalds again. read more

This place was rebuilt a few months ago. Yes it looks alot better & it now has two drive thru ordering stations which is nice. Food is ok. However, since being rebuilt, it has been having quite a few issues. The last four times (in a row) that i have gone there, something has been wrong. The first time i went i ordered orange juice along with a breakfast meal, paid, went to the pickup window & saw two workers looking at a half filled cup of orange juice, looked at me & said i needed to order a different drink because the orange juice machine isn't working. The second time i went i ordered an ice tea & was told they were out of tea, the third time my boyfriend was with me, we ordered meals and drinks, got to the pickup window and the lady handed us two cups of ice and two cans of soda because their soda machine was down... then the last time i went was last night. I ordered two of the pumpkin spice lattes, was told the latte machine was down..so i ordered a decaf coffee and a caramel frappe. I paid, went to pick up was given two drinks, as i pulled away from the window i realized my coffee was cold, and the caramel frappe was actually vanilla. So i got my receipt and went inside. There were two girls at the two registers, one was helping another customer so i walked up to the other one and politely said " i just ordered through the drive thru, this frappe was supposed to be caramel & my coffee is cold"...the girl looked at me, took the two drinks to the back, came back to her register & just stood in front of us. The girl at the other register asked her if she took care of us and she said yes.. confused because she never said a word to us, i looked at her and said "so...am i getting a refund or are our drinks getting remade?" She looked at me and said "they're making them now"..so i went to the pick up area and waited. While there, a woman who had been dining in, brought up a burger that was made wrong and an older lady brought up a tea that was'nt right. I know to some, this might seem like nickpicking, but it's highly frustraing when everytime you go, something isn't working or something goes wrong with your order. This is a brand new place, with new equipment, why are their drink machines already not working? Why is it, when i go in to get two drinks fixed, i get treated like i am an annoyance... i understand this is a fast food place and you shouldnt expect too much, BUT i am paying money for what i am ordering. I think i am in the right to expect to get at least what i pay for. & i understand things go wrong, but this is a new place....i am not the only one who has gone there and ordered something only to be told they couldnt have it because something wasnt working within the restaurant. read more
