Terrible, terrible customer service. Keep driving. I've only ordered subs at Subway. Decided to opt for a salad with this visit. Being unfamiliar with the salads, I asked the Sandwich Artist what was on the Veggie Salad. She responded "It's whatever you want to put on it," so we began crafting my meal. She was incredibly short with me when I paused about cucumber + tomato and she impatiently pointed to the sticker on the glass listing my available vegetables. (All of the tubs were covered with plastic lids, so I couldn't see what was available to me). She got hung up when I requested chicken. She turned to an invisible employee sitting where I couldn't see him. He told her to "Treat it as a Something-something-chicken and charge it that way." I told her after chicken, that was all, and she started chopping my salad. My total was a few $$ more than I expected, but I figured it was due to the upcharge of the chicken (even though I was told it was 'whatever' I wanted). I got to the car and opened my salad a few miles down the road to find that there was no chicken in it. I get it, it's a veggie salad, but that didn't scream vegetarian to me, so I thought chicken was still fair game. I don't understand why I was charged $3 extra when nothing was added to my salad, but I wasn't about to turn around on a cross-country road trip to argue about a salad, especially after the attitude I was given the entire time I was in the store. read more

Try to make it to Erick if your headed east or to Amarillo if your headed west. This Subway should not be open. They had no vegetables, you get meat and bread only. Shamrock is a nice little town and I live there, Dairy Queen has closed and this place needs to go as well. I really love Subway but whoever is running this place needs a new job. read more

The Subway was ok, one of the employees was friendly, the other not so much, but the sandwiches were fine. The gas station side of the business is very run down. The one staff member pretty much ignored us. The display on several of the gas pumps does not work or is unreadable in sunlight. The bathrooms look and smell like they don't ever really get cleaned. read more

This establishment definitely has some challenges with staff who really don't care how Subway is represented. The crew doesn't care how they make your sandwich. Hair is loose. There is the occasional fly buzzing around. They are more concerned getting back to the kitchen to talk to each other or conversing while "working" on your sandwich. Awesome customer service. First, subway was amazing. I have a fish allergy and they really went above the call of duty to make sure entire area was cleaned and no trace of fish. Then because she took so long do me the huge favor, she gave me a free soda with my sandwich. Amazing! The gas station store was amazing in its own right. I was looking at different snacks to get my fiancee and one of the workers came around to tell me if I text this number I could get this BIG nut mix for 1 Penny despite typically being $3.99. Another, worker helped me send the text and redeem it. Then they allowed my fiancee to text the number too and we got another bag for 1 cent. Here's the information..Wow! This was the worst SUBWAY ever!! Do not waist your money. The kid working was sitting at the tables with his buddy when we walked into the subway portion of the gas station. Once he came up to the counter he said that he had fresh bread only white or Italian .When he picked the loaf of bread up to cut it started crumbling. He only had Swiss cheese, no lettuce, a few tomatoes so we had a Turkey sandwich with turkey and tomatoes. Paid full price,If we had not been traveling in an ice storm we would not have accepted and left .
