Stopped in this restaurant while riding Route 66. Food was incredible, service was outstanding. I wish I could single out one person but all of the servers waited on us and never waited for anything. read more

Rusty's - Menú - Burgers Near Me - Shamrock, Texas

Wanted to like this place based on other reviews. Parking lot full. Good sign. Both ordered cheeseburgers with fries. 1/3 beef looked like frozen patties cooked well done. Ate 3/4. Fries limp. Food slow to get to our table. Maybe pizza or wings is their thing. read more

Last night I ordered Supreme Pizza, hand tossed. It was just okay, wished I'd ordered the thin crust. Small towns have one Pizza place, so you enjoys what there is. Tonight we went back for a burger, and it was very good, not too cooked so it remained juicy. Had jalapeños melted on with the cheese. Fries were the tiny size crinkle cut. Condiments were put on the table just like at home! This is a Shamrock must! read more

We stop here when traveling and love the food. Great vibes in the restaurant too. Very nice staff. This last time we went our food took forever but they were very kind about it and kept apologizing. I wouldn't stop here again when in a hurry but will stop when we have time. Love this place. read more

My husband and I had an amazing burger at Rusty's on 66! The 8 oz Rusty's burger had all the trimmings plus green chilis and melted white cheese. Fries were plentiful, hot and well seasoned! We could not believe the price wax $11.20!!!! Our server, Strace, was a charming, attentive young man!! If you're driving on I-40 in Texas, stop in Shamrock and spend a few hours. And, be sure to have a meal at Rusty's on 66!!!!! read more

Small pizza xtra sauce thin crust. I've had frozen that was better. Crust couldn't possible be homemade. Sauce was tasteless. Traveling through so it was between pizza and Taco Bell. We lost when we went with this pizza. Next time Taco Bell. read more

Traveling through miles and miles of farmland and ranches, towards the end of the day, it was nice to find that Rusty's, in Shamrock, Texas, was open until 10:00 p and it was as great as the Yelpers said. We had a burger and a small pizza. Both were delicious! Service was excellent. Ambiance was fun. Plenty of parking. Worth the quick trip off the highway to eat here! read more

Rusty's - Custom pizza small with sausage mushrooms and black olives - Burgers Near Me - Shamrock, Texas

My husband and I had dinner here while we were in Shamrock, and it was a delightful meal. The restaurant is fairly small, with 6 to 8 tables and a bar that seats half a dozen folks; our timing was good as there was an open table when we arrived. The menu is somewhat limited, with pizza, burgers, wings and salads, but the food is great and decently priced. They have an excellent beer selection as well as soft drinks, and we saw several families dining while we were there. The place has a very down-home atmosphere and is favored by locals. The staff is friendly (especially the young man at the cashier's/reception desk), and the service was good. I had the vegetarian pizza (thin crust) and my husband had the Rusty's burger, which was quite substantial (probably 1/3 pound of meat) and really yummy. The fries were perfectly crisp and very tasty. It was a tasty meal after hours spent on the road, and we enjoyed it! read more

Across from our motel for the night. Called for delivery. $35 with tip. My rusty burger was fantastic, and my kid loved her cheese pizza. We both had a pop as well. (Rootbeer and DP) Galaxy who delivered it was friendly, and food arrived in a timely manner. Definitely hit the spot after a long drive. I'm not sure if there is a delivery charge or not. read more

This is the 3rd time I've been here on the drive west from the east. AMAZING spot... the wings are phenomenal and the pizza is fresh and the sauce cheese topping ratio is masterfully balanced. The staff is beyond kind and welcoming... I love this place and will always stop by if driving through Texas read more

What a great place! We were traveling and staying the night in Shamrock at the Sleep Inn & Suites Hotel. We were able to walk to Rusty's from the Hotel which is a plus. A friendly welcome when we walked through the door. Sat at the small 6 stool bar. Nice variety of bottled beer available and a nice variety of pizzas too. We had a few beers and wings at the bar and ordered a pizza to go. Had great conversation with others sitting at the bar. What a great place and a must stop! read more

Stopped in after a long day of driving.. And Really glad we did! Fun place on Rte. 66! Food was Great and the staff was wonderful!! We will definitely be coming back on our next trip through!! read more

I tried for 45 minutes to call to place an order. I kept getting a message to leave a message or stay on the line. I finally left a message. 20 minutes later, no return call. We drove to the restaurant. It was closed. It would have been useful if they had edited the Yelp listing or provided that information to callers. We drove over 600 miles today and did not need this aggravation. read more

In Sharmock for a sleep during our road trip. Ordered take out - a large cheese pizza, extra cheese, onions and jalapeños - yum. Ready on time, cooked perfectly and hit the spot! Will return when we're back in this little town! read more

Great place in Shamrock to stop for pizza, wings or beer. I had a nice outdoor live music.

We are heading home to Oklahoma in the motorhome and stopped for the night in Shamrock. We decided on Rusty's and it was great! Service was fast and food was awesome!! I had a small meat lovers pizza that was so good! Perfect crust. My husband had the chicken fried steak sandwich and it tasted like homemade for sure! Great little place with cheap $3.50 beer!! We really enjoyed everything about it!! read more

I waited over a 1/2 hour for a cheese burger and fries, which both arrived burnt. I was charged a premium for beer that is made locally, and the waitress couldn't explain why. The staff all had a "whatever attitude." Utensils were umatched plastic. The tables were rickety and sticky. Shamrock Texas can do better. read more

I had the Rusty Burger with the green chili, jalapeño, cheese, red onion, lettuce and tomato and it was wonderful! My husband had the pizza and said it was the best! Raved about it! Too bad we live in Arizona or we could be regulars! Great place we hope to be able to visit again! read more

We did a carry-out option, and I'm so glad we chose this place! It was cute, small place decorated with a nostalgic Americana vibe. The food was just what we needed after a long day of driving. They were out of burgers, but the pizzas were very good, especially the thin crust. Staff were very kind and friendly. If I'm ever going through Shamrock again, I'll definitely be back. read more

We had dinner here, I had a small SAUSAGE PIZZA and my wife had the chicken salad...both were FABULOUS!

Small town, and i was staying around the corner. Reviews seemed good so i thought i would try it out. Google said it was busy but no one was there when i first arrived. Before I left though it was packed. Really good pizza, and friendly people. Would eat here again for sure. read more

Very friendly services Very delicious foods Very clean spotless restaurant Very very very nice restaurant I will come back again read more

Had the Rusty burger and cheese fries. Burger was overcooked and bland. Mustard was the only thing that could be tasted. Not even the peppers had any flavor. Fries were soggy, presumably because they were microwaved. They were crinkle cut that were more than likely from frozen and topped with cheap shredded cheese. I never thought in a million years I'd recommend a McDonalds burger over any dive bar, restaurant, grill, diner etc., but I wish I had gotten a big mac instead. My only solace is knowing I'll never have to be in these parts ever again so I'll never have to see this joint for the rest of my life. read more

charming little place..waitresses are friendly and attentive to the tables there. ordered pepperoni and sausage pizza, waitress tells me they're out of sausage. So just pepperoni, wasn't expecting much but WOW. it is probably the best pizza i've eaten since i can remember. I never eat the crust but this pizza was great through and through! Next time i'm in town i'm definitely going back. read more

Small place but the food is very good. When in town I always stop by. Pizza, burger and wings have all satisfied.

If you are gonna eat pizza in Shamrock, this is the place. I had a thin crust chicken fajita pizza with onions and peppers, and it was excellent. Rusty's has more than pizza on the menu. I saw another customer enjoying BBQ chicken wings, and you can also get a burger. Rusty's has a good selection of cold beer, with special pricing for a beer bucket. Table, bar, and outdoor seating options with friendly service, or you can call in an order and drive through. Rusty's is a favorite among locals as well as Route 66 travelers. read more

Cool spot, stopped the night in Shamrock on a cross country road trip and grabbed drinks and breadsticks. Classic small town feel with friendly workers. Pretty straightforward, no glitz or glam needed. read more

I wish I could give a complete negative star. So disappointed in this place. We drive for some time thinking we have plenty of time to stop here for a late dinner. This is the only restaurant open for miles around that says it doesn't close until 10PM. ITS A LIE!!!! We show up just after 9PM and with several people walking around inside they are closed. Someone happened to pick up a pizza in the drive thru even though it was after 9PM and I had to knock on the window and ask. Yes... it even says that they don't close until 10PM. Another couple walked up and tried the door also. So, as my wife and I sit at a fast food place I could not let it be and here I am. I hope this saves someone else making the same mistake as us in trusting their website and what their door says. Now I really understand why so many places close up along this highway. read more

Holy cow!! You're just cruising down I40...decide you better eat so you whip into Rusty's not expecting too much. Oh it's too much!! It's AWESOME. Great service, piping hot (excellent) burgers and wings and ICE COLD BEER FROM A TROUGH. You'll love it here! read more
