It's Saturday night at 9:04PM when I make my order on the Papa Johns site, via my phone. A few minutes later I received a call saying they only have one driver and it will take up to 2 HOURS to deliver (we live 4 miles from the location). We really didn't care and responded back with "that's fine". The girl on the phone seems to be in shock by our answer and says ok, call ended. At 9:43PM I receive a call by the same employee, stating the driver has a flat tire and they cannot deliver. Obviously this seems bogus, but ok I give you the benefit of the doubt. The employee advises we will need to do a pickup. Since they cannot deliver on their commitment, I ask (they should have offered) if we could at least a free order of bread sticks due to the inconvenience, she immediately said NO! I then asked for her name which I was met with the response "why?". I advised I would like to know who I am dealing with at this establishment. I was then put on hold with-out reason. A few minutes later she came back on the phone stating she put me on hold to deal with a customer and her name is "Taylor". Riggghhhht, ok "Taylor". I ended the call politely and said "Thank you Taylor we will be there shortly". We picked up the food (two female employees were all we could see in the establishment) and all was made properly, yet the customer service is lacking and they may need to remove the option to deliver since they try to avoid by providing outrageous delivery times and excuses with out showing remorse for their short comings and lack of commitment. After we ate, I read several less than favorable reviews from several months ago. I must say, however, that our experience was much better than those earlier reviews. This crew had it going on - they were working quite well together. They had 2 or 3 taking orders, and they were able to get the large number of orders out in a reasonable amount of time with few problems. Our food came out hot and accurate. I guess being inside a Loves Truckstop meant that getting tour buses occasionally meant they knew how to deal with crowds. Good job folks! If you are in the area and simply "gotta have your Big Mac or Quarter Pounder", check these folks out.

After they ordered and restarted their vehicle the employee told us to go ahead and order but we weren't able to pull up far enough and because of the loud vehicle they wouldn't have been able to hear us anyway. My husband explained this to the cashier once we got around and she was super rude to him. We had to wait several minutes for napkins after we got our order.
