It was certainly daring to see tongue and brain on the menu, but having grown up in LA loving tacos (where lengua and cabeza are popular protein options) and practicing adventurous eating, tongue and brain sounded absolutely perfect. As my intuition told me, the tongue and brain sub was fantastic. Texture was exquisite, flavor was well balanced, and I am hoping eating such would improve my cognitive and linguistic abilities. Why don't cooks read the receipt correctly and why don't employees packing up check to make sure everything is in the bag!! It's not that hard to double check what you're packing and read the receipt correctly so you get order correct. Imagine if I would have left the Popeyes and this happened, I would be 10Xs more upset because gas is so expensive to go back!! Customer service is definitely lacking here plus cook was bothered and no apology.

Advice to the female who was rude to me. Next time be careful how you treat others. It's all recorded on my dash cam how you behaved and I have a witness who was present. Your manager will be contacted and headquarters. I visited the Jack in the Box in Reseda on 2/18/26 expecting a quick and simple drive-thru experience. Instead, I was met with extremely unprofessional behavior. When I arrived at the window, both female employees were rude and dismissive. The employee who took my order spoke in an annoyed tone and appeared bothered from the start. I was polite and clear with my order, yet she acted confused and irritated. What was most concerning was that both employees were laughing, gossiping, and making mocking facial gestures while I was at the window. It was obvious they were talking about me and my order. I did absolutely nothing except order food respectfully. No customer should feel uncomfortable or ridiculed for simply purchasing a meal. Food safety and professionalism matter. Watching employees handle food while behaving in a mocking and careless manner is not reassuring. Customers are paying more than ever for fast food, and basic courtesy and respect should be standard. I will be contacting Jack in the Box Customer Relations directly regarding this experience. I have also enclosed a photo of the employee who took my order.
