EZ Cater had the info for months but didn't put the order into the restaurant until 30 minutes before delivery. Do you know how much work goes prepping 20 burgers with every single topping option?!? Daniel tells me they will work as fast as they can but it won't arrive by 8:30. I say I completely understand and ask they let me know when it is on the way. What I didn't know when I ordered this was that each and every topping would be in INDIVIDUAL packages!!! We had 20 ketchup, 20 mustard, 20 bbq sauce, 20 mayo, etc. etc. etc. All I could think about when I saw all these packages is just how hard these folks at Five Guys must have worked to get this out to us so quickly. We got the food at 9:30, meaning they put all this together and out the door in 1 hour!!!! They should have had all day to prep this, but no EZ Cater is just a dumb app with no human beings and no ability for critical thinking. My fault for trusting EZ Cater, but Daniel and his team saved me. I can't thank this team enough for working so hard that night. Daniel called me when the food left the store and apologized profusely. He had no need to be sorry, I think he stepped up huge that night. We got the food and my guys loved it, it was all delicious!
