The quantity was down the quality was down. I waited 15 minutes for a piece of pecan pie to go. The Tavern fries had no buffalo sauce on it had to remind them to put the jalapeños on it. The fries were soggy should've been cooked longer and I've been eating North Carolina barbecue my whole life. Why is there no vinegar sauce? And the prices are quite outrageous for it to be hit or miss was really sad. I just moved to Raeford and was hoping this would become a regular spot will not be coming back thankfully on Mother's Day it was good so if you'd like to gamble, maybe this place is for you.

Lord have mercy, it was even hotter in there than it was outside. No breeze, no air movin'. Felt like the fryers were workin' overtime and the A/C had clocked out for the day. Still, I smiled, stood in line, and ordered my usual: two-piece dark, dirty rice, and a biscuit. Good ol' comfort food. But when I sat down and opened that box... I realized the food must've been waitin' on me longer than I was waitin' on it. Chicken was barely warm, biscuit dry, and the rice didn't have no steam to it at all. I didn't fuss. I just sat there in that heat, fannin' myself with a napkin, thinkin', "Now this ain't how Bojangles used to treat a man." Plus the place was dirty and they sauces were bussing in the sauce container. The employees were not just rude to us but rude to all the customers that came in while we were there.
