There are few BKs out there that surprise me when I'm out and about doing my thing. This one is amongst those. They really surprised me. Like prior reviews have said, this place is super clean, accurate with your order, and, quite frankly, the friendliest BK I have ever been to. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the employee behind the counter and when I ordered my food he kind of ohh'd and aww'd over everything. Gave me my drink cup and within the amount of time I filled my cup my order was ready for pick up. Made my way through the meal and just sat there by myself. I can confirm that this politeness they have doesn't just stop with you. Each customer that came into the store or used the drive thru was greeted with the same enthusiasm I was. This definitely made for a pleasant dining experience.

It was clean, sleek, and inviting. The food only took like give or take five minutes, but it was SOOO delicious! Like this place is literally, as my dad said, like البيك (Al-Baik). My only concern is the music and one of the workers being stingy about paying for the toast. I also wish that you guys would make your food حلال. Other than that, GREAT restaurant and I hope to come here soon!

They packed the hot chicken separately which was a nice attention to detail. Place was clean & had great bathrooms as well .

State College Five Guys (FG) is tucked away in a little shopping area on College Ave. At one time…read moreit was a Wendy's but those days are long gone. Parking is on the street, in the nearby garage or in the few spaces around the adjacent businesses. The interior is like most FG's, simple, red & white with bags of potatoes and fresh peanuts. I've always been a fan of FG's but with a lot more "fresh" fast options opened, it's dropped off my radar in recent years. For the uninitiated FG's is unique in that the burger is a fresh, never frozen 100% USDA beef, ground in-store daily. They are hand patties so they come out fresh and juicy wrapped in tinfoil. FG offers other fresh ingredients and the standouts are the fresh-cut fries and tasty buns =)! They also offer a bottomless supply of unshelled peanuts for free. On this day, I stopped in for lunch and ordered a "little" cheeseburger with fries and a drink. You can order the "little" which means 1 patty and saves you a few dollars. Personally, I'm not a fan of the 2-patty burgers. As you'll realize this place can be messy and the 2-patty sandwich complicates things a bit. Beyond that they give you numerous ways to customize your order but I typically go "all the way" -- sans mushrooms. Today's visit was outstanding. The burger and fries were fresh and tasty. I'm usually not a fan of the tinfoil (over waxpaper) but FG likes to lock in the heat. Sometimes the sandwich comes out smashed down. This would be a 5-star establishment all day but due to costs (around $18 for one person) and past inconsistency, I've knocked them down a notch. That said, State College has performed well the last few visits!
