I'm sorry, but I may never go to Subway again after my experience here. Expensive, rude, & poorly done. Very disappointed.

Do not waste your time or money! I ordered through Door Dash as I was working and could not go to the location. The order came, completely wrong and not even what I ordered. One of the bag of chips was open. I called the store to report that I did not receive what I ordered and asked that they send me a new order of what I paid over $80 for. The manager told me I could come to the store and get a replacement. I told him I couldn't because I was working and the reason that I ordered through Door Dash to begin with. He told me to call the 800 # and hung up on me! People of Orange - spend your money somewhere that you can get good customer service! Don't spend your hard earned money here!!!! read more

I am not sure what time they were planning on closing but when we walked in they were still open for business. So they should be ready to serve great Subway sandwiches all the way until closing time. I don't blame them for starting to mop and clean up but it was super strong and chemical smelling. It's hard to smell the delicious Subway bread over mop bucket madness. They were out of all bread except for wheat and Italian. A couple people left at that news flash. Maybe they were trying to discourage customers at that point. The cutting boards/prep surface was already put away so they had a baking tray balancing on the counter to make the sandwiches on...it got the job done. read more

It's a quick serve sandwich shop, no lobster or filet there. Product appears fresh, restaurant is clean not spotless but adequate. Food is good. Prices are insane, but the same is true for every diner, restaurant everywhere you go. The only issue/problem for me is Bad Karma. There is a problem. Not sure of the reason or cause. It is not isolated to just one location they all suffer from disgruntled employee/employer. There is a tension you could cut with a knife. Is it listed as a requirement on their help wanted advertising? These are normal people, you have seen or met at PTA, the market, church, bars. They are your neighbors. Put Subway shirt or apron on them and it feels like the Wizard of Oz movie when the witch pedals across the screen and says, "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!" Its not just the staff the owners, managers and even occasional customers display their moods. Tips for dining or picking up at Subway?? Do not greet employees in a friendly manner, do not make eye contact" pretend you understand what they mumbled, this is the first stop on your trip down the yellow brick rd. Avoid any sign that you like life. Your final hurdle is the tip jar, it is clearly labeled with a post-it note taped on it to make sure you know the money is divided equally between all of the staff! Average 4 staff on duty....20% tip, each staffer? Or 1 tip per customer?....does the owner and/or manager share in the money? Maybe that's the root of the disgruntled employees!! I wish I could give 0 stars but even that is more than this establishment deserves. I will never step foot in there again. I ordered on the app and it was sent to Orange instead of Culpeper. As soon as I realized this (within minutes), I called to have them cancel the order. I was told to be more careful, they had already started making the order, this affects their bread count, and their was nothing they could do about it. Called corporate for file a complaint. Company protocol is to contact customer within 48 hours. That was Sunday. It's now Thursday. I called the store back. I said I wanted to talk to the manager and person on the phone said they were. She said, "Was it my mistake or your mistake?" I told her I wanted my money back and she said that she needed her money. She refused to refund my money. I'm so mad. Old lady was rude, short tempered and stingy with topping. Asked for extra pickles and she gave me 3 for a footlong.

I ordered a 6" roast beef/provolone flatbread around 2:30 pm on Thursday. The meat did not look bright or red. Quite grey. It didn't taste like a good sandwich. I had the worst vomiting and D all night. Very bad. Other than coffee and toast it is all I ate that day until 9 pm when this startedWhen I called this past Friday and talked to S. No one cared. I have only eaten at this location a few time. The subs I have tried were what I usually except from Subway at a great price.

NEVER again will I eat at the Orange VA Subway. The owner was working tonight and got so rude with me that I turned and walked out. I ordered Ham, Egg White and Cheese on flatbread. When she got down to the veggies I noticed that I didn't see egg whites and asked if she put it on. She rudely said No, that I had asked for a Ham and Cheese only, not egg, and that she would have to charge me extra. I said that No, I had asked for egg white from the beginning and she had even repeated it , but she rudely again said I didn't ask for egg white, i asked how much extra, cause I wanted egg whites, but she never gave me a price. She snatched the egg whites, mumbling that she was going to charge extra, turned to the microwave to heat them, but then turned back around and sat the cold egg on the sub but then turned again to put it in the microwave mumbling about charging me extra, so I said "Never mind, I don't want this." And I walked out, which is something I've never done before. Horrible customer service, from the owners on top of that !!! read more

I am honestly so mad that I wasted my time and money here. Tonight me and my boyfriend showed up at 8:15. The ENTIRE place was cleaned and ready to close, even with 45 minutes til closing. Some girl with blue and pink hair, another with brown hair decided to guilt trip us, while telling us we were fine to eat. It took them 15 min to make 2 subs because they had to take everything out of the fridge. They told us someone came in even before us and decided to leave because the customer felt like they were being an inconvenience. They didn't bother to tell us we could get our sandwiches toasted, which made my boyfriends sweet onion chicken teriyaki inedible. He threw it away. We spent $20 and half of it went to waste because that sub needs to be toasted but that was impossible because of their proactiveness. My turkey sub was the worst I've ever had there, but I was so hungry I ate it. I absolutely LOVE subway, I spend more money eating subway than at the grocery store. But this is the WORST experience I've ever had here. Additionally, I have worked at Dairy Queen and Arby's when I was in high school and I know damn well that it would have been fine to get cleaned up before closing, but they did it wayyy too early. I REALLY HOPE A MANAGER READS THIS AND CORRECTS THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THIS IS RIDICULOUS. read more
